We stayed here for 5 nights in June. Have to give enormous props on the care and maintenance of this beautiful Victorian home to the owners. Every square inch is clean, polished, oiled, painted, and lovingly maintained. It's quite extraordinary! You can tell there is a real attention to detail and pride of ownership that is unparalleled. The garden looks likes a park, and you will see the owners tending to the beautiful backyard daily.
Very nice views from our room. Our room had a private bathroom downstairs, which probably isn't the best fit for Mr. B, as he suffers from TB. (Tiny Bladder) This made it difficult at night to go up and down to the bathroom. We had three semi-formal events to attend in Seattle, and it would have been better if we had a bathroom in the room. But, if this isn't a necessity for the reader, than I strongly recommend this B&B and room.
Breakfast is continental: hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fresh baked croissants and breads, cheese, assorted fruits, tea and coffee. Perfect size for someone like me, but Mr B enjoys a bigger hot breakfast.
Location can't be beat in the eclectic Capitol Hill area. Close to lots of cool restaurants, bars, stores, etc. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but a parking pass can be obtained.
There is a lovely pool in the backyard that we didn't have time to enjoy. It looked so inviting! There is a lot of construction going on around the neighborhood, so there is quite a bit of noise currently.
Recommend this B&B!
