I loved my stay at Seaview! My room had a fabulous view, was quite spacious and immaculately clean. Mary is a welcoming host and excellent cook! She has a huge buffet spread, with anything you’d possibly want, including homemade breads and cakes. In addition to the buffet, she makes a hot breakfast to order. In addition loved the poached eggs—-the best I ever had. Seaview also has books about the area and history that you can read while you stay there. I found so many interesting reads. This B&B also has the village store, that John runs. What a wonderful couple. The location couldn’t be any better—in the middle of town.

I loved my stay at The Seaview in Allihies. Mary is a warm host and excellent cook and the breakfast she provides is outstanding! In addition to a huge buffet of any thing you could want, Mary prepares a hot breakfast to order. I loved her poached eggs—-best I ever had. The room had a tremendous view and was super clean. They also have a store that John runs. The store is the main shop in the town. I also enjoyed the books they have on-site, with history and stories of the local area. This Allihies is simply magical and the Seaview is in the best location—in the middle of town, walkable to every thing the village has to offer.

Staying at Mary’s B&B in Allihies was one of the highlights of our walk on the Beara Way. The room and the entire property were comfortable and beautifully decorated, with a real sense of care and warmth in every detail. Mary is a wonderful host - kind and welcoming. And the breakfast… absolutely amazing. Generous, delicious, and made with love, the perfect start to the day. This place is a little treasure in Allihies.

An incredible stay at the Seaview Guest House and in Allihies in general. Very accommodating and kind hosts. So grateful to have found this place to rest for a night along our journey through the Beara Peninsula.

A beautiful experience that you won't easily get in Ireland in terms of hospitality and location. Well worth the stay.

Mary, John and their family are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast was yummy and in a beautiful dining room. They even granted my request for Bailey's porridge--yum! Allihies is Ireland's best kept secret. So beautiful and my "home" village". This is the second time we have stayed at Seaview and have never been disappointed.

The last of our nights exploring the Wild Atlantic Way - and the evening when I finally got my sunset photo after a week of heavy cloud and rain. That aside, Allihies is along a very winding road but with terrific seascapes along most of it. Take your time to enjoy it but it's further away than you think... We were greeted by Mary at Seaview, for whom the season had only just started. She couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. Our room overlooked the bay and the beach was visible nearby. Bed was a tad on the hard side though we may have been spoiled on previous nights. Otherwise, the room was fine and the bathroom possessed a shower powerful enough to flay skin. Breakfast cooked to order and set us up for the rest of the day. On-street parking but not a problem as loads of room. Highly recommended and we wish Mary success for the forthcoming season.
