We stopped in last night for half off appetizers, since it's the off-season. The food and service were excellent! The portion sizes were large. Great value for the money. The Ahi Tuna Nachos are a must try. Super unique. We also had pretzel bites and fried shrimp, which were really good, as well. You won't be disappointed.

This place is my wife and I’s go to spot! Food is great! Service is amazing and the vibe is awesome! Bands almost every night. You can’t beat everything this place has to offer in the offseason or during peak season it’s great!

We visited the SeaWitch Friday night after reading multiple reviews saying how good it was and decided we wanted to try it out. There was a bit of a wait to get a table, but it was completely expected since the place was packed when we arrived. Our waitress (I believe her name was Maddie) was incredible! She introduced herself right away, took our drink and appetizer order, and stayed attentive the entire time despite the crowd. She kept our drinks full, checked in often, gave excellent food recommendations, and was so friendly and sweet. I highly recommend the crab dip appetizer, it was SO good and full of flavor. Our waitress let us know upfront that food might take a little longer because of several large tables ahead of us, which we really appreciated and didn’t mind. The food was great, and the live band started playing shortly after we were seated. We were right next to the steps down to the stage, so it got a little crowded near our table, but it was still a fun atmosphere. We enjoyed the music, the food, the energy, and the overall experience. Huge thanks to our waitress for making our visit so enjoyable!

Delicious food, drinks, super cute atmosphere, dog friendly! Thomas was great, super attentive; recommended some incredible dishes. Must visit for sure. Try the tacos (shrimp and short rib are delicious). Pineapple Jalapeno marg is literally mind blowing

Thomas was an amazing waiter! From the moment we sat down, he was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made fantastic recommendations that we absolutely loved — you can tell he really knows the menu well. He checked in at the perfect times without being overbearing and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Great service can really make a meal memorable, and Thomas definitely did that. Highly recommend asking for him if you visit!

First time visiting SeaWitch Cafe & Tiki Bar. Atmosphere was laid back and casual. Lots of seating. Open air seating wich is covered. Had live entertainment as we dined and relaxed. Food was top of its class! Plates were loaded with large portions. First was a appetizer that consisted of linguine, cream sauce with tomatoes,onions large shrimp with bread toast. Seasoned with spices that had a slight heat taste. I highly recommend. During dinner was Calabash Shrimp and Oysters. Portions were large. I highly recommend. Last part of my review is based on my experience with waiter. Meet Ralph!!! He made or dinner special with his focus on our getting the best experience possible. Ralph made us feel comfortable and like family. This gentleman has made his career catering to his costumers. Kind, compassionate and leave you with a smile! I have been here at lunch and it was a good restaurant where you can bring your dog. Sadly, tonight the food was poor, service okay, and the entertainment was way too loud for the dinner hour. The biggest turn-off was that they added a **22%** tip on the bill for four adults and three young children!! The server checked in one time!! There are a ton of good restaurants in Carolina Beach. SeaWitch isn’t one of them.

The shrimp bruschetta pasta was literally not only thee BEST pasta dish I've ever had in my life but it's hands down the best thing I've EVER put in my mouth!!! They also have it featured in an appetizer with bruschetta. It's amazing!!! They also had an awesome little courtyard with 2 bars close by and live music. The breeze, the music, the food and the amazing drinks made the place so memorable!!!

Very nice atmosphere, very organized , I was satisfied with the service. There wasn't food, but there's plenty of water ..

Great vibes and ambiance at Seawitch, they've got the decor down pat. Drinks are heavy handed and in large plastic cups. That makes for easy cleanup or a great travel vessel if you're on your way to the sand. I had the Witch Burger. They don't ask for a temp and that bad boy is going to be server Sahara style...dry af! All good, my lady had a fried fish sandwich and that was good. Thankfully she's tiny so I was able to snag half the sandwich. It's been a minute since I've had a bad burger, I was beginning to think it wasn't possible. Anything is possible...

Hello off season, SEPT 2025. Seawitch never disappoints from food to Service and the vibe with live music is always great. The staff makes this place always a go-to. Kennedy and Amber on this Tuesday were exceptional.

What a great way to end an awesome beach weekend! Live music, great food and outdoor seating so we could bring our dogs! We had made reservations as we had a pretty big party. We arrived and were seated immediately. We ordered just about everything on the menu and it was all fantastic! The standout for me was the fried mozzarella! I actually stopped eating my burger (also very good) so I could order another round of the gooey fried cheese. The wait staff was on fire! Always available, got pup cups for the dogs and kept our glasses full. A highlight of our weekend to be sure!

Came to Carolina Beach for the 4th of July and Seawitch was such a great spot for dinner and drinks! Portions were fantastic and everything came out great. I loved that there was live music later on in the night as well. Service was fast and the staff were so attentive. Great spot!

This was a very fun place! Excellent bartender. Each day they have various specials. The day we went, well drinks we're only $4! We went there for the live music and it was awesome! Food was excellent. We ate there twice for lunch and dinner.It was hot but the fans made it more tolerable. Service was good. I would go back!

Came to the beach for the day and stopped in here for the Ahi tuna nachos. They were great as usual! And our server Peter was awesome as well.

Excellent lobster roll with the right about of dressing and side of drawn butter. Cole slaw was refreshing and corn cob wasn't bad but could use a little seasoning .

Our family tried the Seawitch for the first time on our recent visit to Carolina Beach. We were seated outside on their very large patio and it didn't seem like they were seating anyone indoors. It was hot but we were lucky to be in the shade (most of the patio seemed to be) so it wasn't too bad. Our server was wonderful - friendly and funny and had great recommendations. For drinks we got a skinny margarita, frozen strawberry margarita, and frozen mudslide. All refreshing but we weren't impressed with the mudslide - didn't seem like there was any alcohol. We shared the homemade chips (with queso per our server's suggestion) and hush puppies. Both were great. Hush puppies are just cornmeal, no corn chunks! For my entree I had the boneless chicken bites with the cajun dry rub. Really good and great ranch on the side! Others had a burger with a great gluten free bun, and shrimp. All were happy with our food! We'd definitely visit the Seawitch again, especially in good weather and to catch some live music.

I want to start by sharing that I emailed management privately about these concerns a week ago but never received a response, which is why I'm leaving this review. The food and service here was enjoyable, and the staff was friendly. However, we were really concerned about the cleanliness of the dining area. All of the ceiling fans--whether on or off--have a very heavy buildup of dust and dirt. The ones that were running caused dust to fall onto food and drinks, which is very unappetizing. We almost left but stayed because we had already placed our order. With so many busboys and servers walking around, I'm surprised this hasn't been addressed. This is something that should be handled by janitorial staff and maintained by the restaurant team regularly. A clean dining area is just as important as good food, and I truly hope this is addressed promptly so guests can fully enjoy their experience. Visit: 8/2/2025

This is our favorite place for dinner and drinks in Carolina Beach. The Shrimp Alfredo and Crab Dip are excellent and we haven't had a drink we didn't like. The staff is so awesome and friendly. The only issue we had this last visit was how hot and humid (heat index that day hit 103) it was, and there is no A/C in this mostly open air restaurant. Obviously, this is beyond their control, but something to be aware of. Did this keep us from going? Heck no!!

Shrimp bruchetta, freshly toasted baguette, excellently seasoned roasted tomatoes, freshly grated parm, and the shrimp grilled to perfection. The cream sauce, oh my! Shrimp tacos, just as tasty! Flour tortillas filled with grilled shrimp and other toppings such as fresh Pico, shredded cheddar, cabbage, fresh jajapenos, and red onion. Pick a side. Today, we chose fries that are seasoned with old bay. Old bay aioli to dip 'em. Yum. Tea still lacking, though, darn. Friendly service, attentive. Great music over speakers from 70s to 90s, rock to country. Yay!

Fun atmosphere and good food that my friends and I enjoyed while on vacation. Will revisit next time!

If you are in Carolina Beach I highly recommend visiting Seawitch! We were here for a week and ended up going there 5 times. The portions are huge and they really load everything up. We ordered the blackened shrimp alfredo, the 1lb of crab legs, the shrimp tacos, among other amazing dishes. The drinks were good too, the tropical cider on tap is one of the best I have had. The staff was very friendly and helped make our experience a 5/5.

We came in the Spring (during low season and after a day marked by thunderstorms). It was not busy, so realized that the reservation I made weeks ago was likely unnecessary. You can tell from the layout, however, this place is built to expand exponentially in the warmer months. The interior was the usual for a seaside tiki bar, with wood plank flooring, dried grass accents and a plethora of exotic sounding cocktails. We came on St. Patrick's Day and therefore was treated to a live musician, who was quite good. Our server (who announced he was 'new') granted our request of giving us a few more minutes to peruse the menu...though that few minutes turned into more like 15 minutes. We gave him the entirety of our order (drinks AND food) in case we experienced another prolonged disappearing act. My husband got a beer and I ordered the blood orange margarita, which arrived (atypically) in a tiki glass. It tasted good to me though and my husband enjoyed his ice cold beer. I had worried a bit when our server didn't write down our actual orders, which became apparent when the side salad with apple cider vinaigrette came out as a Caesar salad instead. I decided to just go with it, even though I had my heart set on trying a cool new dressing flavor. I did thoroughly enjoy the fresh flavors in my cilantro lime shrimp tacos (would definitely have these again) and my husband really enjoyed the shrimp bruschetta pasta and was too full to eat the tasty appearing garlic bread that came with the pasta. I did love the vibe of this place and the fresh flavors of the food and drink. My only advice to the management would be to encourage new staff to actually WRITE orders down, so they don't goof them up (not all those who think they have a photographic memory actually do). Might have gone with five stars if my order had been correct. Cool place though and worth checking out.

Would've given 5 stars but feel it was a little overpriced. When we got there, we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table and the table we got was really far away and kind of obscure. Our server was great and very polite. I did not catch her name now. Food was really good but again someone went over price. We are in town for vacation in may or may not be back this week depending on how things go, but overall a nice place to check out and great atmosphere in general.

Great and very fun bar with live music!! The drinks were so good, and even with a long wait (we had a table for 12) - the wait was fun with dancing and drinks! The food was SO good! If you like spice, cannot recommend the nachos enough - so fresh!

Chips were yum, fries were pretty good. My chicken sandwich was pretty small and they forgot my mayo. My husband really enjoyed his sandwich. This was our first time here, and when we got here was asked "indoor or outdoor seating" and now I just have to laugh bc their indoor seating was a roof and some walls by we got seated in the corner so basically outside. If you're coming from the boardwalk or beach just know there isn't AC. Just some big fans. We had friendly service, food was good, a little pricey (everywhere is right now) so no complaints. If we ever make it back that way we will have to bring the dogs bc it looks like the patio area is pet friendly!

DO NOT come to this place at 7 pm expecting to get a table before 9 pm and eat anytime near 10pm with 10 people!! This place is a joke and can't handle large parties. 3 hours to get table and some fried seafood?!?? You're better off order dominos and having it delivered and eating it here.

Went in earlier this week on a suggestion from a friend. Got in at 6:30 and opted to wait for seating that was not in direct sunlight. Grabbed a few refreshments at the bar area. Our server this evening was Sara who did a nice job going over options. We opted to start with the Tuna nachos and calamari for appetizers. Based on Yelp recommendations went with the wonton nachos on the side. Good choice. Avoided a soggy mess this way. Both that and the calamari were good. For dinner went with the mahi sandwich with fries. Would have preferred blackened mahi tacos, but they only offer fried mahi tacos. Wife went with the fried shrimp basket and my daughter chose the shrimp tacos. All were good. At 6:30 the atmosphere was relaxed. A combination of families and couples of all ages. Not sure what happens after 10 pm. Now the two questions - Would I come back? Yes. Would I recommend to family and friends? Yes, without hesitation.

We always have a good time at the Seawitch. Menu is lots of beach fare. It has a good kid's menu. They have good gluten-free and dairy-free options: nothing special, but it's easy to navigate the menu. The cocktails are good beach drinks. Not bad, but not high class. They keep it real and affordable. There is always a wait, and service is slow. It's a beach town, so we expect this. It's a part of vacation life to kick back and relax. They have a large waiting area, so it is easy. Parking is always a pinch, too. There is validated parking at the restaurant, but it's limited. There are paid lots nearby.

A couple of things...first of all on our second visit here we only ordered dessert to go. Ordered key lime pie based on a recommendation. We waited a good bit of time for our order. Now you know what key lime pie is. This ain't it. I wish I had a pic but it was really key lime cake. A layered white cake situation with key lime mousse and some cream cheese frosting with whipped cream. It's sweet and it is tasty but it is not key lime pie. We simply ordered it sight unseen but key lime pie is kind of iconic and it's not cake. I tried to call ahead but there was no answer and maybe if I had reached them I'd have learned what their iteration is. The presentation was cute as it was in little layered rounds but the disappointment was set in. Second...they will probably tell you that it's a very long wait...maybe 90 minutes. On our first attempt, our name was called way sooner than that but at that point we'd gone elsewhere. It's a busy restaurant with a fun vibe and maybe one day we'll try dinner. Don't be like us and not read the description of the Key Lime Pie. Update: just learned the "pie" is David Annie's from Walmart/Foodservice so that's disappointing but I recognize it's done a lot everywhere.

A girlfriend and I had dinner here one evening to celebrate her birthday before going to see the night flight for the kite festival. We were seated quickly at the one last table available. Our waitress got to us fairly quickly but honestly seemed like she had zero interest in being there at all. On the good side, we learned that on Friday evenings, appetizers are half price! So instead of entrees, we ended up with a bunch of appetizers. The ahi tuna nachos are always a good call, the shrimp bruschetta was very tasty, and the crab dip is a solid choice.

Service was "ok". Not bad, but not outstanding. They had live music and it was ok, but we weren't there for that so it seemed loud to us. On a different night it would have been different I'm sure. I ordered shrimp tacos. I was nervous. I don't normally stray that far from my comfort zone but they were really good. The dry slaw on it was good. It did have some unexpected spice, but I love spice so it was fine to me.

I want to start off by saying the food was absolutely amazing and the service from Ralph was wonderful. However, while taking our order his manager David unprofessionally approached him with an issue that should have been private. It was rude and completely unprofessional. As a manager David should have taken care of the matter it private, but chose to the do it publicly in front of our entire party.

We've been coming to Pleasure Island for weekend getaways and weeklong vacations since 2013. Today, we found ourselves at Seawitch for an early dinner. We sat at the bar. CJ the bartender made us feel very welcomed. The fried mahi tacos were the best fish tacos my husband ever had and I had the Brussel sprouts. They were quite delicious and dipped in the taco's siracha mayo made them DIVINE. What a fun place with unexpected goodness! Edit: I experienced Seawitch again on 4/18 with a daughter. Yeah, no. The food was not great this time. I ordered the Brussel sprouts again but they were a dripping buttery mess. The cilantro lime shrimp tacos had no flavor and had what appeared to be only two specks of cilantro. It was very busy. Maybe the busier they are, the lower the quality of food is, therefore this was disappointing. 2 stars.

The food was great! We really enjoyed our fried shrimp and fried mozzarella slices - so good!! Dressing now were awesome! The fans on the ceiling could use a cleaning - they were caked with dust - thankfully there were not on! Our waiter was very attentive & helpful as we could not decide on the many great options!

The Seawitchis one of those unique places that you sometimes find at the beach. It is a rustic, tiki bar kind of atmosphere with really good drinks, friendly service and good food. It is not fine cuisine but really good beach food. Prices are reasonable. I understand that it is closing soon to make way for a large hotel chain and I am sad. Beach towns lose their personality when places like the Seawitch go away and this will be a loss for sure.

Love, love, love this place! It has an outdoor patio area that is dog friendly. The service is friendly and prompt. They have great happy hour specials. Be sure to order the seared tuna tacos with the "chips on the side". Unusual and delicious!!

The best seafood chowder I ever had was at the Alex's in the Claymont farmers market in Claymont, Delaware. The sea witch seafood chowder is right there on the same level. It's fantastic. I could eat this stuff every day. Bravo seawitch!

Food was good. Staff work amazingly well together. If you want and like live music - this is your place! Live outdoor seating and ambiance is beachy sweet!

Music is good. Food is good. Very crowded. Men's and ladies bathrooms are disgusting. If your table is near the door.. look out. The stench will take you breath away. Hope they fix that.

Let's talk old fashion!!! 227 old fashion was smooth and delicious! CJ makes a great drink that goes down easy. Food was good as well. We had blacken ahi and fish tacos! No complaints!

Fried shrimp basket was fire, fries were good too, crispy. We got sat and waited 20+ minutes to be acknowledged, two groups sat after us and had drinks before we got anything. Our waiter apologized and said he wasn't our waiter but ended up being our waiter. It's visibly dirty, dogs allowed even monkeys! Can't make this up..

You've got to experience a Saturday night live hand here. WOW! We had a blast. We had been a day or two before for drinks and apps and were told by a local to go back for live music and adult fun. As far as food, the fried shrimp was amazing! Highly recc. Very lightly breaded. We added jerk seasoning for a little flavor...you should give it a shot!

This is my favorite restaurant. I ordered the chicken and shrimp Alfredo. It is the best thing you will EVER have. Especially if you like normal Alfredo. You'll want to rave about it just as much as I am. If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would.

Good experience! Loved the live music. They were out of some foods (baked potatoes, pasta) when we came, which was a bit disappointing but what we did have was good. Oran, our server, was very friendly and attentive even though it was really busy. We had multiple food allergies in our group, and he was knowledgeable about the foods with our allergens and kept great track of everything (and I know we don't make it easy, lol). They have Udi's gluten free buns for sandwiches. Mine was pretty dried out but honestly I'm always grateful to have a gf option at all. Overall, we had a great time.

Crab dip is incredible. Best I had out of all the ones I tried when I was in town. The rest of the food was also delicious. Atmosphere is also really nice, especially on a nice day after relaxing at the beach.
