SeaWorld is an incredible destination that offers a perfect blend of thrilling rides, captivating animal encounters, and educational experiences. Their seasonal pass is an excellent value pack compared to other theme parks. And the holiday lights are amazing. The marine life exhibits are the heart of the park and are nothing short of mesmerizing. Watching the majestic orcas, playful dolphins, and graceful rays up close is an unforgettable experience. The park is clean and well-maintained, with helpful staff always ready to assist. Dining options are varied, so I recommend buying the unlimited pass for the day.

This is a really uneven but fun park. When i visited in Dec 24, the park was surprisingly slow for a Saturday. The rides were all operating on a single train, and dispatch was pretty slow. There were multiple temporary ride closures for maintenance issues, and everything felt a little dim and slow. The Xmas costumed characters were great, showing a lot of enthusiasm.

We went on a weekday and had a great time. Since there were no crowds, there was no wait time for the rides. The Orca and the dolphins shows were amazing. The Christmas lights and Merry Mariachis’ music brought festive cheers.

Our family lives in Austin, and with a long weekend, we decided to visit SeaWorld with the kids. There was so much to experience that both the kids and we, as parents, lost track of time enjoying everything. The killer whale show was definitely the highlight for us! It was a hot day, but the splash from the killer whales kept us cool, and it was amazing to see the trainers connecting with the animals. We left feeling both thrilled and touched. There’s still so much left to see, so we’d love to come back with the kids next time we have a chance.

Hey guys this was my first time going to SeaWorld and I would definitely recommend. The rides are amazing and the food too. It's really a discovery place. The more you keep on walking the more you're going to discover something else. I had a blast with my family and we definitely will go back again.

It's Sea World! I still love this place even as an adult. We purchased tickets in advance and still waited a significant amount of time in line for them to tell us we’d have to show the ride attendants our fun to get on the ride. I suggest printing out your tickets in advance. Lockers are available to store items the prohibited when riding rides. The restrooms were clean, which was awesome. We did not take advantage of the refillable drink because of the insects flying around the machine. We got to enjoy both SeaWorld and the Halloween experience. Great shows and fun all.

Google
Very clean park! Good time, good shows/exhibits. Be prepared to pay $$ for food/drinks, but the BBQ restaurant is super good! No backpacks/crossover bags are allowed on any rides, so they make you rent a locker for $10 for the day.

Google
It was a fun day! It wasn’t crowded and the wait time were only 15 mins long. The shows are definitely worth it! I never been to a restroom so clean and it smell like it gets sprayed with a nice scent.

Yelp
This was our third year visiting SeaWorld San Antonio during the holiday season, and it has become a family tradition we look forward to. The Christmas lights are always beautiful and add a magical touch to the experience. My little one loves the rides, but this year, the kids' area was under construction, so only two rides were open. If you have been to Seaworld in the past, you may remember this area to be the Sesame Street area. If you're planning a visit, be sure to let your kiddos know to avoid disappointment. Despite that, we still had plenty of fun! Parking was a breeze, though there was a long line to enter the park. Thankfully, once inside, it didn't feel overly crowded, which made it easy to enjoy the atmosphere. Of course, there are lines for the rides, but that's to be expected. The playscape area was a hit with my kids, even though I kept reminding them we didn't come just to play on the playground! It's great that SeaWorld offers a mix of attractions for kids to explore. The gift shops were clean and well-stocked, and every SeaWorld employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. I appreciated the designated family room for changing diapers, though I wish there were changing tables in the women's restroom for added convenience. There is only one changing table in the family area. Overall, we had a wonderful time creating memories together. We'll definitely be back next year to enjoy the lights and all the holiday cheer!

Yelp
I used to work for this park. In fact it was my first job. I loved this place and I loved visiting on my off days to have fun. It seemed very affordable, the shows were exiting and funny and the staff was great. I can not say this about the park now. The quick queue and the lack of training has caused ride lines to be ridiculously long with boats and cars leaving with empty seats. 1 beer was $15 whaaaaaaat!?!? You can no longer lean on the wall of the dolphin area to see the animals and most the shows are just educational "experiences". Which in its own is very important but not nearly as entertaining as the past. I would save your money and not spend the crazy amount to visit this park. If you get a discount maybe it would be a great day but it has definitely purely gone downhill since Anhueser sold. Not worth it IMO unless they can train the staff to better handle large crowds, drop the prices on food and beverage to be more reasonable and bring back the crazy entertainment value the park used to hold in the early 2000's

Yelp
Amazing place all around but why not 5-stars you might ask. That is an excellent question. I always begin my reviews with 5-stars and then lower it due to deficiencies. First and foremost, free tickets for veterans if a major bonus but never the whole mood setter. The employees at the child rides were inefficient and running on autopilot. Had total disregard for efficiency. Some of the rides had empty seats and wouldn't allow others to fill them which made the waiting excessively longer for no reason. One employee in particular was having fun mumbling in the microphone about safety concerns and snickering to the other employees about the gibberish she was speaking into the mic. Pro tip: bring your tumbler, the location has to provide water to you so you can get free ice and water from the water fountains. SeaWorld purposely had removed water fountains outside of the venues. If you do decide to buy a single all-you-can-drink container ($21) you can share it with everyone. You can buy the container and fill your tumblers with it. Not bad if you go that route. Bring umbrellas to protect from the sun. If you got children don't forget to bring personal higiene items to wipe their hands. Take photos and don't forget to smile. Almost forgot, the Orca show. Arrive 30 min before the show (times shown in Map) and if you seat at the very front by the left of the stage as you look at it you just might be selected to give one of the Orcas an order to do a trick and win a piece of their merch.

Yelp
I can't say enough about the photo past people. They have been fantastic.Dani & Grace took great care of us. The rides were phenomenal and because we went on a Thursday in December, it felt like we had the park to ourselves. Ending the night with the greatest story, never told was absolutely the best thing that we could do to put ourselves in a Christmas spirit.
google avatar

Yelp
Over 3/4 of the rides were closed. Absolutely no warning that the kids area is also closed for construction.

Yelp
This place is a highly overrated park like most of them. Designed to nickel and dime you for every little thing. Not designed for preteens and below. Not a lot for them to do. Food deals are not deals. They don't cover all of the eateries. Food is sub par. It's just ridiculous. My last theme park most likely. Give me an aquarium or zoo any day.

Yelp
We had so much fun again! This time we went to aquatica and it was a blast!! So many things for kids to do and so much space. Now I will update during summer but as far as right now everything was amazing. Workers everywhere making sure people are safe, clean restrooms, plenty of places to eat and fun's of fun things to do here! The videos are before aquatica we walked around the park and saw a show and a performance before going in!

Yelp
Family and I wanted to visit seaworld San Antonio as we've never been and staying nearby at the Hyatt Regency. We went on a Monday and it was doll not crowded which was a bonus. We walked around and there wasn't much to see or do. Not sure because it was summertime but it wasn't bustling. We saw the orca she which was ok. Overall would say to check it out. If you go on seaworld website you can get discounted tickets. Parking is separate and it was $33.

Yelp
Seaworld was fun! Even on a cloudy rainy day! We did not get to experience the waterpark but we did experience the amusement park. I am so happy that my son was tall enough to ride all the rides except for one. He was thrilled! We went on a Thursday and the lines were not long at all. Some rides my son was able to ride over and over due to no lines. Despite the hot and humidity, we had a lot of fun! We will definitely return here!

Yelp
Don't wait your money going to SeaWorld San Antonio they are charging outrageous prices for admission and parking but all water rides, smaller rides , drink and food options all closed but ti what a staff member said was staff shortage. Oh and we went to the orca encounter show and the orca didn't want to work either and the show was cancelled. We immediately tried to get our money back but they refused stating no refunds. They gave no alerts on website or app. It's like buying a sandwich and paying full price but only getting half a sandwich. SeaWorld should be ashamed of ripping off the public. SHAME ON SEAWORLD!

Yelp
The good: We were able to get free veterans tickets, which is ALWAYS appreciated because parks do not have to give this benefit. I paid for general parking and didn't think the walk was terrible. The workers in the rides were funny and engaging. All the rides were in good working order. There are lots of places to refill the $25 all day cup and lots of benches to take a break. The Not So Good: -some refill stations tried to charge us to refill our $25 cups. There is a 99 cent charge if I bring it back another day, but we bought ours that morning -on a hot summer day, the park was out of Powerade a little before 3pm. -my daughter had trouble using her dining pass a second time, even though it had been hours since we'd used it. The worker reluctantly gave her her food and admitted they were having problems with the pass. -Harbor Market was out of a LOT of food items by 4pm when we stopped to eat and we were told condiments that normally come with a meal, like guacamole with the nachos, was out and they couldn't restock it at that late in the day. Overall we did have a good time, but the dining was frustrating. And while I expected to pay for food and parking, the cost of the dining and beverage services was extremely high compared to the quality. It was surprising to see so many roller coasters but there are plenty of shows if you look at the app, they're just not as obvious in the park.

Yelp
Get the season pass and don't waste your time doing the math on their online 'deal'. Its the same price and just a way for them to get people to use online instead of a person. Parking is included and the speed pass if you go more than once are a rip off. Go during the week if possible for less crowds . No outside food or drink allowed is a joke. Literally everyone had their own cups and baggies of snacks. Which totally beats the outrageous prices of food and drinks there. The park is super clean but a-lot of non deodorant wearing people affect the bathroom aromas.

Yelp
Thanks for offering VETS tickets every year. Now that I have kids, they were able to enjoy it like I did as a kid. Moose Out

Yelp
I wish I would have taken more pictures... This place was fun and was not packed at all. We went late in June. Where yes, it was hot outside, but the rides were short lines, and you weren't bumbing into to people at the exhibits. As you can guess it is very expensive to eat and to park at any type of amusement park so just prepare yourself. I would try and bring an umbrella of hat to guide yourself from the sun. The park itself is very clean and kept up with. They have different shows for the sea animals on the hour and have a tour guide to let you know when and where. It's really fun and educational for the family. Highly recommend

Yelp
We came to sea world for fright fest and it was a good time! They had a little pumpkin maze area and give good candy during this time of the year. They normally distribute the candy between 11am-5pm. You're best bet would be to download the Sea World app to have an idea of what is going inside the park. Also! Our bomb.com funnel cake was located to the right before the exit and was delicious! If you don't know this you get a discount at any food place when you scan your season pass( we have the Gold one) which offers more perks! So the funnel cake was 11$ instead of 13$ also with the Gold pass parking is free.

Yelp
Re: Cub Scout Overnight Camp out at Sea World Penguin exhibit. Sea World and Bexar County Sheriff threaten to arrest elementary age Cub Scouts and parents and implement lifetime ban. Kids leave the campout in the middle of the night crying Our Cub Scout troop was staying at Sea World Saturday November 16th for an overnight campout, sleeping with the penguins experience. Parents and young elementary aged children. The kids had a mostly good time until our interaction with an over zealous Bear County Sherif's Officer. I have never had a negative interaction with law enforcement and the Scouts is traditionally an organization that supports those in Blue. Though, after last night it is hard to feel good about Bear County Sheriff Dept. Event: Scouts were in good spirits and getting ready for bed, sleeping bags laid out in the penguin encounter area at Sea World around 10pm on November 16th evening. That is when things turned kind of crazy. A few kids were running around and not listening for a short while apparently. Instead of bringing this up with the scout group leader, Sea World brings in a security guard and Sheriff to start yelling at the kids. The Sea World security guard was actually professional and tried his best to keep the situation calm. Though the female sheriff was a real piece of work. She started yelling and threatening to put kids parents in jail if they resisted arrest and banning them from Sea World for life. It was intense. Several kids starting crying and families started leaving, included our family. Instead of talking about penguins with 7 year old, I was trying to calm him down and assure him I was not going to jail and he would not be put in "kids jail". My 2nd grade son started to have an anxiety attack and crying, worried he would be taken to "kids jail". We ended up packing our sleeping bag and gear and left at 1130pm this evening to a hotel. The whole ride back to hotel he kept asking why police officers are so mean and scary. I had to explain to him it was just one bad apple, who was completely out of line. A really terrible experience, I think what the kids walked away with was some police officers are really mean. And I was reminded that not all officers are there to protect and serve, instead some are there to intimidate and create a community of fear, even among children. This does not even address the fact that the Sea World overnight program itself was very poorly managed by their staff. The staff were not prepared and were not friendly. Having done overnight scout trips to NASA and USSS Lexington before, I know these programs can be much better managed. Sea World really dropped the ball on this one, they need to go back to drawing board with their overnight experiences and add more staff training

Yelp
They really should just close for business. Unprofessional staff particularly in the office, dirty, unsanitary bathrooms, food prices are too high for the quality, and the animals look unkept.

Yelp
Great way to spend an entire day whether with or without kids. Fun rides, lots of food and fun viewing areas. Great shows! The employees are friendly and helpful. Some signage could be improved.

Yelp
Seaworld seven seas. Foodie festival. Pricing is reasonable, small portions. They added some Wooden deck overlooking the lake and steel eel. Perfect seating area and sectioned off for the nightly fireworks and water show.

Yelp
Hubby and I came to SeaWorld as a guest of his company event. So glad it was a free event. The experience at SeaWorld may have been better if we had kids. There is literally nothing for adults to enjoy. The park is full of thrill rides and additional costs for "experiences." The park lacked entertainment for those not into thrill rides and no indoor activities. We watched the Orca show under an incredibly hot pavilion with no fans or misters. The show was enjoyable and we would have relaxed more if there were some fans on the spectator seating. Hubby and I walked round the park, but with no activities away from the hot Texas sun, we decided to leave after a couple of hours.

Yelp
The poor experience started from the gate. The employee was agitated and didn't have the patience to answer my questions regarding parking. Unfortunately, the park has been filthy with overflowing trash cans during every visit so far. Free refills are cool, but not when the sodas flat & you get bees in your drink. I don't remember seeing many animals, just lots of shops and food places. So far this park has been 0 for 3 for me; I wouldn't recommend a membership.

Yelp
What a wonderful experience!! They offer wonderful benefits for active duty service members, so we were able to get our tickets for free. We paid to park and had a very short walk into the park. It wasn't terribly crowded so we were able to quickly get onto rides and get great seats for the shows. Speaking of shows, omg, the orcas are amazing!! We saw killer whales, dolphins, belugas, sea turtles, penguins, flamingos, and so much more! The trainers are so knowledgeable and really close with the animals they work with. If you have a chance to see these amazing creatures and this wonderful park, take it and go!! Be sure to wear sun-hats and sunscreen, and I would carry a fan an umbrella for extra protection and shade
google avatar

Yelp
Seaworld is very fun but over priced you have to pay to park and go to different areas as well as the food is not cooked right and is over 20$ for a meal or 4bitch ass nuggets with fries for a bit over 10$

Yelp
Simply Amazing !!! A Wonderment! Pure entertainment! I spent the weekend here and it truly brought back childhood memories. I cannot remember the last time that I got in or on a ride that shook my brains around, tossed me like a salad and caused my organs to be confused and left me trying to determine if they were staying with me or going in the other direction. I checked out 2 of the Amazing shows. 1. The Orca Whales, this was amazing! 2. The Beluga Whales/ Dolphins, I remembered this one from one of the Finding Nemo/ Dory animations as Dory knew how to communicate with Whales. Rides just to name a few in order of favorites. 1. The Great White, I was surprised by the spins and twirls of this ride while dangling like a grape from a vine. 2. Steel Eel, at the literal and yea physical high point of this ride I am thinking to myself, why am I doing this, of course by then it's too late! 3. Sea Swinger, the trickery and deceit of this ride, caught me off guard, itexpecting only the swinging back and forth although, it was mixed in with a series of twirls of unsuspecting positions. In all honesty, I believe we are crazy for getting on these rides, but yep, I would do it again. I appreciate the fact that also had vegan options as far as food. A definite plus. There was food everywhere and beverages. This is what it is all about enjoying the shows, rides the assortment of food, beverage (even adult) and snack. Extra tips: If you have read this far here's the BONUS, get there early when the doors open and you may not need the "Quick Que Pass" for the first few hours for rides or waiting in long lines. Also, if you go to Aquatica side, which is more beach like with water slides, rides and activities, again get there early or there will be no lounge chairs to relax in. I also found an awesome Air BNB that was 5mins from the park. Remember to dress for the occasion of having fun, just don't forget the sun and heat can be a beast @ 95 to 98°. So, until the next one Bye, Bye!

Yelp
It was a nice day but we wish that they would open in earlier like Orlando SeaWorld does and San Diego one. We honestly didn't had enough time to see everything and we felt rush.

Yelp
3/5, December 2023. We visited on Christmas and really noticed how stark the factors in this park are. We've been to several parks of various price points over the years throughout the year and around Christmas time. So we have a good basis for comparison. If you have kids I'd probably give this review a plus one star as they did have a pretty good set up for the little ones. Also this is primarily a review of the park from and amusement park stand point not the animal attractions. I don't car about that but some people do. First, this doesn't feel up to the standards of a typical SeaWorld park (ie. SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, etc.). While I would say most of those parks sit above a typical Six Flags or Cedar Fair park this one does not. This one feels like it hasn't seen the kind of investment necessary to make that transition from animal park to amusement park. Heavy on flat rides and weak on roller-coasters they have only 4 full size coasters and a Mack splash. Most of those coasters are fine but not memorable. Great White is probably the most intense coaster but it's just a Batman clone so if you've ridden one you've rode Great White. Steel Eel is nice enough but it's a late 90's mini-hyper coaster that feels like a late 80's coaster. Wave breaker is newer and fun but on the family/kids side in terms of intensity. A good fun ride especially for younger ones looking to get into it. Texas Stingray is easily the best coaster in the park and probably the only real stand out. A solid, fun, relentless ride of dives and twists that's even better at night. The Christmas lights were pretty good but not up to the standards ofthe sister parks. Busch Gardens Tampa may well be better than Disney and it wasn't up to that standard. Overall this park is certainly a good time but feels like it's suffering from a lack of investment. They were also short staffed to a greater degree than we've seen at other parks recently.

Yelp
Sea World Staff completely understood how important it is for my family to enjoy Aquatica, and I'm really glad that the staff was able to help us get a permanent FastPass for our autistic son. It's frustrating when long lines can get in the way of having a good time for him. so I'm happy they were able to assist us. My family thank you for making this experience memorable for him.

Yelp
SeaWorld was a blast! The rides were.super fun. My favorite was the Tidal Surge (giant purple swing that goes faster and higher than expected). I lost my voice yelling on this one! The best roller coasters were the Wave Breaker (sit in the front and put your hands up!) and Journey to Atlantis (two gigantic stomach drops). My least favorite roller coasters were the Great White (felt too jarred/shaken/wobbly afterwards) and the Steel Eel (slamming down 3-4 times on the hard edged seats was painful.) The 3 shows we attended were great: the orca experience (plan to get wet), the Baloga whale and dolphins (stay after to ask the trainer questions and watch the whales swim up close post performance) and the sea lion show. Feeding the sea lions after was the highlight of the day for the kids and adults alike! Why 4 and not 5? Overpriced food and parking. $35 for 2 personal pizzas and 2 drinks? Nah. $17 for a turkey leg? $32 to park your car for the day. I was lucky to come in as a season ticket holder's guest pass and parking is included when you buy a season pass. So pack your lunches and feast for far cheaper! Buy at least one season pass so you can get your parking covered! For the understandable SeaWorld naysayers: The park/rides were a but heavy handed with the rescue and rehabilitation language, I imagine that came from the PR fallout from the Blackfish documentary. I felt fine coming as a guest to attend and I purposely did not buy anything in the park.

Nancy K.

Yelp
Fun family times- it has it all Thrill rides, educational shows, water park, feed the animals or sign up for a personal up close experience! A must do if ya in San Antonio!!
google avatar

Yelp
The dolphins before going is free and the personal are great with the kids. The park is amazing , buy the souvenir cup so you can refill it through out the park. The sea lion show was a nice break from the sun. The orca show was the cherry on top! Highly recommended for families with kids. Bring a stroller and clothes to get wet.

Yelp
Family trip! We wanted something local and this popped up. Not sure why we decided on an OUTDOOR amusement park that ended up landing in the middle of a heat wave (hello, 103 degree high temps) but that was what happened. For 5 adults and 2 kids (one free as he was below the age of 3 but the other is 6), we did some calculations and purchased 4 gold annual passes. Though not that close, we aren't that far either, and getting the pass was better value. We used the free guest passes to get the rest of the party in with us. Note: guest passes do not allow for park hopping so you pick either SeaWorld or Aquatica and you stay there. Annual pass holders can hop from one to the other. We briefly contemplated Quick Queue and All Day Dining, but ultimately opted out. Also, when the sun is actively trying to burn off your skin alive, we greatly appreciated the included close up parking. We did a full day at SeaWorld with the full party and a few hours our last day in S.A. just to fit in a few things that we missed. It's a little overwhelming - our first amusement park for the kids and the adults' first in a decade at least. I recommend downloading the app; you can search for locations/rides and it will lead you there like a GPS. The paper map is great as well, but not interactive. Our youngest has a host of food allergies so we stopped by guest services and we filled out a square of paper with all his allergies to hand to a manager at any eatery we go to. BUT WAIT, it's so hot we were constantly drinking. We didn't really eat much there at all! I definitely recommend the souvenir refillable cup ($20-24) with free refills day of and 99 cent refills after the first day. In this weather, you will empty the cup FAST. My only complaint: we are fans of the frozen lemonade and they were never in stock at the refill stations. You have to go to a concession stand to get it. Bees are EVERYWHERE, by the way. Just don't attack or startle them. You can get free iced water at all concession stands - just ask. The park was pretty fun! The youngest could only really go on the carousel. The 6 year old could go on a few rides in the kiddie area but also went on Journey to Atlantis with us. Because not everyone was big enough, one person has to stay back with the kid. Luckily, most weren't interested in the roller coasters but I did go on the Steel Eel with my sister, who regretted it 2 seconds into the ride. I enjoyed it though the "old" part of me wondered why I was subjecting myself to it. LOL. It was so hot and maybe that's why the lines weren't that bad. Steel Eel practically had no line. You could stay on the coaster if you wanted another go! Ah, to be young again. The adrenaline coursing through my body after definitely made me feel young. HAH. There are scheduled shows and feedings to catch. My kids weren't fond of the shows. They enjoyed seeing the animals but SeaWorld didn't have that many - definitely not as much as a zoo! But they seemed to enjoy those the most. Everyone was in a state of exhaustion. Overall, a positive experience! Looking forward to return when I'm not being cooked alive.

Yelp
I had a orca tour and it was great! We were able to go backstage unlike going where they usually perform and it was amazing!! Hope to go again!! This was a fintastic 2nd time!!!

Yelp
Sea World itself has not changed much since I was a kid going in the early 90s. We went during Spring Break, and honestly I don't think they were ready for the crowd. The food is awful and expensive. Pro too, bring food in a cooler, go out to car at lunch and eat, or leave and come back. You'll thank me later. Since Blackfish came out the trainers with the killer whales no longer get in, and they have this video during the show showing all the animals they have saved, however they don't mention all the ones they've lost. Kind of nuts. We had fun with our 5 year old, though we got in on a free pass. I'm not sure I'd pay the ridiculous price. I kept wondering the whole time, what will it be like when the orcas aren't there anymore. The 3 stars are more for the nostalgia and the puppet show, trust me, if you have littles it is one of the best parts!!!

Yelp
If I could give this place negative stars I would. 1. We paid for upgraded parking. By the time we got to the attendant he stated there was no room for me (mind you there's a long line behind me also looking for the upgraded parking). When I asked him where to get a refund he said I don't know what to tell you. 2. When I finally got in and went to guest services they gave me a total of 6 gift certificates totaling 18 dollars to use anywhere in the park. When we tried to use them for a water, the cashier said I don't know what these are, you can use them here. 3. Look, if you are going to see sea life, don't come here. The park is basically all rides now with a handful of shows and I'm using handful generously. 4. If you have complaints after you leave the park, don't even try to get anything out of customer service. It ain't going to benefit you at all.

Yelp
My most recent visit was very pleasant! No long lines and plenty of things to do! I love the shows they offer! It's so cute seeing the beluga whales and dolphins. The only thing I dislike is how much they charge for parking. Other than that, SeaWorld is much better than six flags!

Yelp
Went on 9/10/23 and it was far less crowded than in July, which was nice. However, there also were far less animal shows. There are plenty of thrill rides, but absolutely nothing for people with accessibility needs or who just aren't into that. Most parts have at least a train or carousel for the entire family, but not here. So if the intent to to focus on rides, then there needs to be some other options. If the intent is to focus on the animals, then perhaps have some more exhibits or indoor things for disabled/elderly people to enjoy too where we can get breaks from the heat. When the shows shut down in the fall, or we can't always access them due to disability, all that's left for us to do is sit in the hot TX sun all day. There aren't other diverse options. I absolutely love the shows and the animals, but I just wish there were more things to do with it. Right now it feels more like an a amusement park with a some animal shows, instead of the reverse.

Yelp
CONS - It begins with an hour wait just to enter the park in traffic. Not enough staff at parking kiosks. The pre-paid parking doesn't load from their website so the attendant just says "go ahead." Completely disorganized. - Online tickets must be picked up at Guest Services. Hour wait. You may have paid for them on your cellphone but you cannot use your phone as tickets. Totally antiquated system. - Most rides have only 1 train operating. Park completely short staffed. - Park is now cashless, so they add a 5% fee to EVERY purchase. How is this legal? PROS- - Seeing families and friends laughing and enjoying their days, even if they're paying a lot of $ to do so in a disorganized mess. -

Yelp
This location isn't what it used to be. The park is filthy, the employees need training, there was a heat wave in effect and they had half of the drink refill stations closed, the pictures weren't working, they charged me 3 different fees for my build a bear experience and one of the items I didn't even get access to. The food is trash and I even had the all day pass (with the exception of the bbq place) The only good thing was my front row parking and my $1 beers....very disappointed and even though I have a season pass, I don't think I'd come back any time soon...Sea World San Diego is way better. I feel like all parks in San Antonio are like this unfortunately (six flags, aquatica, sea world)

Yelp
The Orka show was top notch h! Just amazing. But the experience kinda flopped after. Drinks are way too expensive, beer at every spot, eatery and stand in the park was 15 bucks. Food prices and things that they called deals, was BS. Like the red, white and BBQ. Yea, no.... 40 bucks a person for a taste test basically and some live music. No drinks included! Wow, I would have gotten 4 options of tasting different bbq. Just tasting. Not even a full meal. Crazy! Several rides on the day we went were shut down due to tech issues. I want some of my ticket money back! 17 bucks for a refillable beverage cup. Per person, now that wasn't so bad, but the lines were long, most ice machines out of ice, and watch out for the bees trying to get your drink.

Yelp
Went in March for spring break. The park was packed but plenty of space. The parking fee was super pricey at $36 for general parking. Sesame Street characters pop out throughout the day, but you have to get in line for photos. Would come again but next time I'll walk lol

Yelp
I recently found out Seaworld charges $100 to rent a mobilty cart. How is this justified? An Air Force surgeon paralyzed me doing a routine back surgery in 1997. This is not my fault so why should I be penalized for my lack of mobility? Do you think people with disabilities have more money? I'm surprised they haven't been sued over this. At the very least this is a shameful example of corporate greed.

Yelp
Break down $381.89 - platinum passes $96.58 - quick queue $66.51 - a couple of the worst PREMIXED drinks $92.26 - couple hats and Walmart sunglasses $279.49 - "SHARK EXPERIENCE" Well if you are wondering what to spend about $1,000 on for a weekend of fund with your special someone DO NOT spend it at seaworld/aquatica. My wife and I saved up to enjoy the 4th of july weekend and we thought of seaworld since we live in san antonio. We were going to get a day pass for $50 each. But the ticket counter sales person recommended the season pass specifically the "platinum pass" for $381.89 giving 12 months of amazing benefits. We were told 1. Get to skip all the lines (lines plural) 2. Get discounted pricing on "everything" Seemed like reasonable perks to go from $50 a person to $381.89 for my wife and I. As soon as we get into the general entrance area the line to Aquatica was about a 2 hour wait because per all staff its the "busiest weekend of the year. Not to worry we had "platinum passes". When we tried to walk past the line to the entrance we were told by staff at the entrance to Aquatica that the platinum pass did not allow us to skip the line. WOW. So we walked to the seaworld side. The famed "busiest weekend of the year" had NO WAIT at the sea world side for the REGULAR day passes but did have a line at the "platinum pass" lane. So we walk in and attempt to purchase alcoholic beverages with our platinum pass discount and were told alcohol is not discounted with the platinum pass. WOW AGAIN. After paying an absurd amount for drinks with no platinum pass discount we were promised we decided to go on the rides. To our surprise again we attempted to use the fast lane per our platinum pass membership only to be told that is not included in the platinum pass. WHAT IS HAPPENING! We had to walk all the way out to the front to purchase additional passes for the fast lane in the lines for the ride. After walking all the way back into the park for the rides we quickly realized that there was still a 30 plus minute wait for rides even in the "quick queue" line. After a demoralizing and VERY expensive FEW HOURS we gave up and asked for a refund on our 12 month membership and the quick queue passes. SURPRISE no Refunds. So in an effort to salvage what we spent we went back today for the exclusive shark experience online listed for $9. Didn't even need to use the platinum pass. BUT surprise again it was actually $279 for my wife and I. This extravagant price did come with a free cocktail though. But I'm sure you can guess it you don't get to pick your cocktail from their delicious options available you get a "special" bottom shelf tequila with box wine that isn't even on the menu. But of course when you purchase the experience the they say any cocktail and the ticket doesn't mention anything about only getting their "special cocktail". Now what do you get for this extravagant shark experience price... 15 min looking into an aquarium from the top with a few small sharks that (ANOTHER SURPRISE) you can get a better view of FOR FREE down below in the standard aquarium viewing. The false advertising and bait switch tactics we experienced were appalling

Yelp
We visited SeaWorld San Antonio for the first time and loved it. It was also during October, so we got to stay for Howl-O-Scream. We live in Southern California, so we visit SeaWorld San Diego often, but was very impressed with the San Antonio location. We made a point to see all the shows and they did not disappoint. We also gave each ride a shot and loved every one of them! The food was good as were the few mixed drinks we tried. Once the Halloween fun began, we had a blast and the workers were nice enough to stop and take photos with us, which made the experience awesome. If you have the opportunity to do both, go for it. Even just a day here is worth it. We can't say enough good things about the San Antonio location and hope to come back again in the near future!

Yelp
Decent experience this time. Too many rides were closed leaving long lines for ones that were open so my kids were disappointed that we didn't want to wait an hour or two for one ride. We did enjoy the extensive Christmas light displays and the parade, which was done nicely. The floats were almost Disney caliber. Kids loved that! If drinks were just a few bucks cheaper I would have one but not spending $17 for a crappy cocktail, sorry. Same with food.

Yelp
We only been here three times, however, SeaWorld was offering a buy one get 50% off and we ended up getting the platinum pass. They do not have a special card saying your a platinum member like Cedar Fair and if you want a plastic card, it is $4.99 extra which is a bummer. They ended up giving our cards for almost free at the end, but all we had to do was pay the tax. The perks for being a platinum member is you get preferred parking, we tend to head to the park early anyways, but it is nice to have though. We get 30% off of merchandise, 20% off of food and then we get a photo pass which is neat. It comes in handy as unfortunately, to get pictures with the characters they take it with their camera and refuse to take it with your own camera. Too bad they did not have a food pass like Six Flags and Cedar Park parks do, but they do have all you eat dining. We did it one time and we spent more time eating as we can use our pass every 90 minutes. We would get a bottle for water, but that requires a locker. They do not have water bottle stands like at Six Flags. The good news is they change the ride operations, now you can ride till closing. The park does get crowded later in the day as people probably want to look at the lights at night time. The park looks really nice at night time and beautiful. My wife and I walked through the entire park to enjoy the moment. Too bad they did not have a tower ride so you can see the park at night time. I did enjoy riding some of the rides at night time like Texas Stingray and Steel Eel and the Animal Rescue ride. They do have a lot of shows during the winter, but my wife and I watched 2 of them. Ride lines were good as the longest we waited was for 15 minutes. Good thing about Sea World is they have a lot of shows to keep us entertain. They do not have as much rides as Six Flags or Cedar Fair parks. Ride operations were okay, a little on the slower side. I think my other review I went over the rides and my thoughts on those. I can not wait to ride the new log flume ride that is opening next year. I do not know when it will be. The food is pretty good and decent and mostly fresh. Better than Six Flags by far however. All their locations were opened and they have variety.

Yelp
I LOVE marine life, and i was so excited to take my nieces there to enjoy marine life together. I fell in love with Dolphins on my first trip to Sea World when i was younger-but this trip back was disappointing to say the least. The shows were cool, but the sound quality made it hard to hear, especially the higher up you sat. The staff was rude throughout the park, but also the lines appears to be short BUT they took hours on end to make it to your turn. We only got to go on 3 rides, due to the length of time it took to get through the lines. Even when the standing points said it would be under "15min". Maybe it was a bad day? But it makes it hard to want to return to this park location.

Yelp
HOT, I repeat, INCREDIBLY HOT in the summer! Shaded areas at certain locations, but if you're walking, imagine almost no shaded walkways! Shows were great, and the indoor facilities were nice. Just wish there was more amenities for the hot times of the day. We went as a big group and our leader had a good experience with ordering tickets and parking ahead of time. Going right when they open is helpful.

Yelp
This place was terrible. Tickets were overpriced, parking was highway robbery, the food was terrible, and the shows were a joke. We took our 5 year old granddaughter thinking it would be great, but it was awful and she wanted to leave.

Yelp
They have certain features closed down because they're remodeling and I think they should say that before they sell you a ticket. All they had to do is identify which ones we're closed down. We came all the way from Austin and found out that the very ride that my granddaughter was looking forward to was closed down.
