10 Best Hotels and Resorts in the British Virgin Islands - AFAR

"Located on Little Apple Bay with true bed-to-beach convenience, the oceanfront rooms offer private balconies or patios and interiors that reflect Caribbean hues. The surrounding waters are known for excellent surfing, and the concierge can arrange surf gear, snorkeling trips, and sailing excursions—or deliver a frozen cocktail while you relax. The on-site restaurant pairs Caribbean and Mediterranean dishes and pours a private-label rum, reinforcing the easygoing, beach-focused vibe." - Lori A. May

We stayed in the Hibiscus room and loved it, it is spacious and private. The window is basically the entire width of the room, facing the sea over the room's balcony. So there is nobody and nothing opposite the room, just the sea, beautiful. We left the balcony door open at night, listening to the sound of the waves while falling asleep. The Wi-Fi of the hotel works reliably. You should be aware that it is about a 2 minute walk to the breakfast restaurant and to the reception. You can get refreshments, beverages and snacks at the reception. There are various other restaurants in walking distance but the beach is not really usable here, so for this you will need a car. Just 12 car minutes away is the beautiful Smugglers Cove beach with 2 cozy beach bars. Staff was friendly and helpful. The reception arranged a car rental for us within 15 minutes which was amazing. We enjoyed our stay.

Room was just ok, it was somewhere to sleep anyway…location is ok but not easy to get anywhere from here, no beach here it’s all rocks, front desk staff very friendly. Could hear mice running through the wall all night, so made it hard to sleep. Restaurant across the street was hit or miss on items they had , most times we were there they were out of a lot of stuff, but always had drinks!! And views were spectacular!! Overall it was an ok stay, would I stay here again, probably not!!

Location great, staff accommodating, & room was clean & comfy for the most part except for ants by the sliding glass door & a few at the bathroom sink.Housekeeping was alerted. Room needs a refresh /updating along with bath towels. No toiletries provided. Nardis Bar & Restaurant had good food & drinks.

This is a great hotel if you’re not a picky person, very nice hotel for a person that’s chill and enjoys island time… I highly recommend especially if u don’t have a car. Staff are A1.

First off, I do have to say that the staff was amazing, if it was not for them, I would have given it a 1 star. $200 for a tiny room you can barely move about in, the walls are thin, no pool or other worthwhile amenities. I would recommend searching for something nicer, the rooms look nothing like the picture. |The Grill across the street has good food, dinner I had good service, breakfast was terrible.

Simply the best ever . The location is just beautiful. It’s on the quiet side of the island next to beautiful things beautiful beaches. The staff were just absolutely lovely especially ketanya and Roy. Really just a wonderful family vibe hotel with delicious restaurant that care about their guests. Also hit them up for any advice on car rental or anything else. They’re happy to assist . definitely coming back.

From the moment you step into The Grand Majestic, you're enveloped in an atmosphere of refined elegance. The lobby, with its soaring ceilings, sparkling chandeliers, and plush seating, sets the tone for an unforgettable experience.

Oh Boy! |Let me tell you guys about Sebastian on the Beach we stayed for couple days my husband, a friend and myself. First, we was greeted well when we arrived at the front desk by I think her name is Anglica, she was very pleasant and welcoming and did give some advice. The hotel staff on a whole were always pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable. For that rate we couldn't complain. We were so happy to know that there was a restaurant on site that serve breakfast lunch and dinner so we wouldn't really need to go else where. We went for dinner the night ( I think that karaoke was taking place). The server was not attentive she brought water and drinks and she took forever to come back to take our food order. The food was good at least, but the service was very poor. It was clear that all the server was interested in was receiving tips because we asked about the service charge (we know about service charge and how it is shared) and she insisted that it goes to the managers. |We went for breakfast the next day and why were we greeted with a loud and what appears to be very untidy young lady in slippers on her feet. For me I think servers should look presentable from head to toe. It shouldn't matter if it is a beach bar, or a top scale restaurant. Again the server was not attentive to our needs and the restaurant was not at all full (breakfast was good). The managers really need to have their servers trained in customer service and appearances. |Sebastian on the Beach is a beautiful place in a nice view and quiet environment. I would recommend the hotel but I am not sure about the restaurant, at lease if they don't change or train their staff.
