"Second Souffle, Terreaux. Second Souffle is a family restaurant focused on taste and music. Madame Chidiac’s cuisine is oriental and authentic and always shared with a great smile. She’s helped by her son, a true Jazz music fan. At night, Second Souffle turns into a stage where you can enjoy both live concerts and delicious tajines. If you’re only up for a drink, top-notch home-made cocktails will make your night."

Went for the jazz and decided to eat dinner as well. Turns out the food is excellent. I had a sample of the appetizers and the flavors are wonderful. I did the lamb tarjine and my gf has the fish. I did sweet and the surprise to have lamb with bananas and complimentary flavors I loved. My only negative is the jazz we went for is rather subdued. The talent seems very good but they play as back round music and not as the center stage. Would love to see move improvisation and less scripted. Just a suggestion. Wonderful service and friendly.

Very nice staff and delicious food. And their homemade fresh bread loaf can't be beat!

Second souffle is an awesome Jazz Bar / Restaurant, friendly staff, great cocktails selection (just missing a Moscow Mule and an Old Fashionned), fantastic homemade oriental food (even the bread is...), smooth ambiance, ... I will definitely go back! If you are a late bird make sure to book your table as the place can be pretty packed (I'd say that the room can seat about 30 persons)

After two weeks of getting dissapointed at one restaurant aftera another in France, we found this place by random luck and it turned out to be the best we had in the entire trip. We tried three starters that were exquisite. Then the a couple of the main dishes which were simply perfect. Specially the Lamb Tajin, cooked with a fruit medley, was as close to perfect as a dish can get.

Nice restaurant, great tasting food. We had the beef couscous and the kefta tajin and they were amazing. Live music. Ok cocktails. Would have appreciated bigher portions.

Yelp
Very cute place. Live music at night . We stopped for some dessert and coffee . The desserts were decadent. The mood was perfect with the live music . I place to definitely check out if you are in Lyon.

Yelp
I visited this restaurant because of the live jazz that was advertised for a Saturday evening. It is a small and charming restaurant. As a solo woman traveller, I found it romantic, but the owners were so friendly I felt no awkwardness at all. This restaurant is family owned and operated. Don't be in a hurry - if you are go some where else, as dinner is made fresh here and that takes time. It's worth the wait. The fresh Tajine Poulet (I had the sweet version, you can order a salt version instead) was very good and a small dish of couscous with roasted almonds was amazing, best couscous I've ever had. The homous is quite different from what I've experienced in the past, as it was on the sweet side. It was very good. The corn purée (did not taste like corn at all) was excellent and was mixed with something (olive oil?) which made it so delish! I'd recommend all of these dishes. The servings were generous, more than I could eat. Solo, with a partner or with friends, the Second Soufflet won't disappoint. I found this food to be fresh and healthy - a pleasant break from the richer fare typically served. The music was wonderful (Karim Bahloul, jazz vocalist accompanied by and excellent Jazz Guitarist).
