It has been a pleasure to revisit Secret Harbour after a number of years (after the recent hurricanes). The beach and the view are..virtually the same--especially the sunsets. The Sunset Patio restaurant is excellent--both service and food--and quite reasonable (given price increases on the mainland). The coral is slowly returning, but the fish have remained and the snorkeling close in to shore is still wonderful.

I recently visited the beach and was blown away by its beauty. However, the parking situation was a different story altogether. The trek from the parking area to the beach was ridiculously long. Fortunately, my regular exercise routine paid off, as I was able to handle the lengthy walk without getting winded. My comment has nothing to do with the room... I never stayed there.

If you are on a cruise. You can rent a taxi and come here. It’s a very comfortable area. Great water in a lagoon area. You can snorkel and scuba if you want to. We just rented chairs for $10 each and an umbrella for $10 as well. Better come early enough to make sure they do not run out of chairs or umbrellas. Magen bay is much bigger but more secluded. And you need to pay an entrance fee. Taxis are not bad but if you have a large group it could add up. We were 13 and we paid round trip $340. But it’s much cheaper than buying a shore excursion from the cruise line. We definitely enjoyed our self’s.

One you find it you won't want to leave! Gorgeous beach, stunningly clear water and views. Great bar service with super tasty drinks that go down like Kool aid! Met some great locals and will be sure to come back!

This resort is so breathtaking and beautiful. We walked in and were so amazed by the views that greeted us. The view from the balcony of the beach, to the resort and the staff, we had an amazing time. Everyone is so welcoming here and the vibes are awesome. The room is greatly equipped with all dishes and utensils you need if you want to use the kitchen during the stay. We definitely did. I’m so happy we chose this resort to stay in and we will return.

Google
Giving this place 5 stars so people can get a full chance to read an ACTUAL review. This place offers the BEST lowest tier service you can experience for brunch and dinner. If you're looking for a good time there are other restaurants and resorts you can go to that will give you that island feel you came here for. Secret harbor takes "island time" to a whole new level. The food is great WHENEVER you are able to get it. Such a nice place to be mismanaged, riddled with low sevice skills, and poor attitudes. You can tell this restaurant was built to be a money maker. No improvements, no menu change, awful communication, missing some items of the menu, and overall not a welcoming establishment. If you're looking for better, quicker, and more reliable options - brown girl cafe is amazing!

We recently spent 5 nights at Secret Harbour and had a wonderful time. Weather was consistently fantastic especially for January. We really enjoyed the calm and clear waters at the beach and the bar/patio/restaurant. Food and drinks were excellent. A dive shop was onsite to rent snorkeling, masks, and assorted water gear. A shout out to bartender Brad for being helpful and providing great service. A very nice onsite pool and hot tub exist but require a small walk up some stairs across the road from the entrance area. Location is a short drive to the Red Hook ferry to St. John. We recommend this place and look forward to returning. Thanks Secret Harbour Beach Resort!

Yelp
Beautiful spot , very accommodating and very serene, complete w restaurant, harbor, hair and nail salons. Helpful staff. My one suggestion- You're are working with guests that are used to a certain standard of service and organization. When you check them in for anything from reservations, to anything else, 1.If you see a guests, you stop your own business to welcome and help them. 2. You serve ONE guest at a time- customer comes first. So you don't answer the phone in the middle of your conversation, you don't go back to do errands or chit chat- you serve and finish with your guests 3. Upon check in or anything, you give them all the basic info they need- and or show them. (Ie, these are the hours, when you check in our out, this is how you put in the code. This is the Wi-Fi password.) In business and hospitality, you have thought of and anticipated people's needs, so you generally cover them upon move in. These are developed world standards and when serving developed world guests.... They are the customer, looking for ease and a vacation- so in this case, do as the Romans do.

Yelp
I don't do reviews, but this is much needed. I had high hopes for Secret Harbor Resort during my wedding weekend Feb. 6-9, 2025. My experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Despite making specific requests well in advance, the resort failed to accommodate them adding stress to what should have been the happiest time of my life. Upon check-in I reserved 2 rooms and requested beachfront downstairs, as the bride I didn't want to travel stairs in my dress. They gave me 1 room downstairs and that was the room reserved for my sons. The room assigned to me was upstairs. The front desk staff and manger was very unhelpful with regarding the issue. I had to resolve it myself among my guests. The gave 2 of my guest downstairs rooms but refused to make adjustments for me the bride. The customer service was beyond disappointing staff were unhelpful, dismissive and appear to make racist remarks. I was given a gift card from the manager at my last stay due to an unfortunate situation with the staff. I tried use the gift card to pay for food at Sunset Grille. The gift card didn't have the amount of money that was listed. I took it to the front desk and ask for a manager, the gentlemen responded aggressive we got aggressive back he made the remark to my sister "You People" act like your culture. For a resort that promotes itself as a premier wedding destination, their lack of attention to detail and poor guest service is unacceptable. I would strongly caution future brides and guests to reconsider booking here if you want a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Yelp
they have raised the prices but not the standard- hot water inconsisten, bad sliding glass door with screen was supposed to be fixed and after 3 tries they took it out and we never saw it again even after we asked about it.

Yelp
Stayed here for our honeymoon. The views from the beach front rooms were gorgeous and the beach was rather quiet and clean our entire visit. Staff was very friendly from the moment we got there in getting us setup in our suite and whenever we needed anything. Rooms were nice, though we did have a bedroom AC that would not get very cool, and the toilet stopped refilling with water on our last day. The bar and restaurant on site were a frequent stop during our stay and had great food and drinks. Also loved the local kitties that made an appearance every night at dinner. Fairly priced accommodations and lots of space. Would stay again!

Yelp
The stay was fine, but they charged me three times for a one night stay and will not rectify the issue. A shame because the staff was nice during my stay and assured me I wouldn't be charged more than once due to an error on the booking site. But of course, as soon as I was on the way home, I saw two more charges come through. Shameful way to treat customers.

Yelp
Awesome resort and location, clean and nice rooms. Some of the best snorkeling right from the beachfront. Very friendly staff and attentive. The only disappointment was the restaurants didn't have many food options on the menu. The sunset grill is over rated and our waitress was mediocre at best, not attentive to our table for service. However the Patio service and bar is a much better experience and service. Again the menu selection is limited for breakfast and lunch and dinner are the same menu.

Lynne S.

Yelp
I have stayed at this resort a number of times over the past 20 years ad have always enjoyed my stay. However, upon my stay this year (11/25/23-11/30/23) I regretfully left behind 3 items in my closet. Management and housekeeping were absolutely NO HELP in me retrieving these items. My phone calls were not returned.--- after leaving a $20. tip for housekeeping after never even having housekeeping in during my stay, I truly expected better. VERY Disappointing customer service. (Of course the beach was great as usual----- they just really need better management and honest housekeepers!)

Deena H.

Yelp
OK, where do I begin? There's so much to say. First, I paid $2400 for four days at Secret Harbour Resort. That in and of itself isn't so bad, if according to the website and reviews, the resort was a top quality place. NOT true in this case. Let's start off with the rooms which are in a building similar to an outside motel in a bad area in the states. The room itself is nothing as it is shown in pictures. Run down with non-existent water pressure and not clean at all. The grounds of the resort are nothing to speak of. The restaurants are mediocre at best with lots of live flies all over your flood. The only plus was the proximity and view of the beach from the room. Let's just say this place was a huge disappointment and definitely not worth the exhorbitant price.

Muggins W.

Yelp
I only put 1 star because I had to. Came for a girls trip. Asked for 1st floor. We got a room way on the end on the 3rd floor. You have to walk with a lot of steps to get to and from to the rooms. The first room we had we got bit up by bed bugs. There was also a crack in the wall with mold around 4 inches by 3 inches coming out of it. They moved us rooms with no care in the world. When we asked about it they ignored us. The driver of the golf cart is rude as well as the front desk staff. The only good thing about this place is the beach. Will never come back or recommend it.

Brody N.

Yelp
Really nice property. A convineint location. The beach is nice and the restaurants are also.

Yelp
We've been coming here by boat every year for the past 10. Never stay at the hotel, but we always enjoyed the happy hour at the bar. Great bar to hangout and have fun. The restaurant Sunset Grill is supposed to be a great restaurant. They have many options in their menu. Our problem this time 12/24/23, we ordered the octopus as an appetizer, good. Then the roasted beet salad, good but almost no beet to find. For the main, we ordered the special, one pound lobster stuffed with truffle macaroni ($60#) and a chilean seabass. When the lobster shows up to the table it was cut in half, but only one half. We thought the other half was mixed with the macaroni but nope. We asked for the manager and to our surprise they acknowledge that we were right a proceeded to charged us just half of the price and a free desert. The problem here is we are not tourist, we are locals and they tried to pull this on us. They are ripping off the tourist. Be careful.

Yelp
Our family of 10 vacationed at St. Thomas last week. This was easily our favorite spot. Beautiful resort, great bar and restaurant. Clean, lots of security, awesome beach and the snorkeling was the best we found on the entire island. We saw, starfish, turtles, variety of fish, and two stingrays. Only a three minute taxi ride to all of the bars and restaurants in red Hook. If you're staying at this resort and have any issues, just find Phillip - he's your man.!

Paul C.

Yelp
Unfortunately a good bar and decent restaurant don't make up for overpriced and very tired accommodations. Broken blind in the bedroom (no one came to fix so we had to spend a half hour doing it ourselves), nig infestation in the bathroom, outlets that don't work, etc etc.

Brian K.

Yelp
GREAT location, right on beach with great sunset views (no sunrise view). The cove has very good snorkeling (turtles and lots of fish) not a lot of coral. We stayed 8 nights in building 2 on 3rd floor and it was fabulous. It is not 5star but the view is and that was the reason we chose this place. We visited other resorts during the stay and are very happy about our choice! Frenchman, Margaritaville, St Ritz - none had a better balcony beach/ocean view. Other location amenities and higher end features were may be better but it comes down to location to beach, beach access and view and for the money you will not find anything better in my opinion!

Jeff M.

Yelp
Looks old, and the kitchen is terrible, they will NOT accommodate any changes to their menu. Wish we would have picked a different resort.

Yelp
Recently spent a week in Virgin Islands and had the pleasure of staying here on two different occasions. My first night was upon arrival. The room and view were the perfect island ambiance. Woke up to the beautiful beach and the smell of great food. Went to the Sunset Grille that night for dinner and the manager on duty, Johnnie(sp?), gave me and my party 5 star treatment. The food was excellent. My friend had the red snapper, which she described as mouth watering . Our host had a seafood dish and I had a tasty chicken entree. We visited other islands during our stay as well. When we returned to Secret Harbor we were assigned a different room which was even more impressive. We ate breakfast that next morning in the cafe...wonderful service and great food!! We took lots of selfies and live videos on the beach and even went kayaking!! Relaxing in a hammock in the evenings and sightseeing during the day were my favorite experiences. Our host used her passport ID to register and somehow it became lost. Also a phone charger was left in the room from our initial stay. The manager, Javier, was able to locate them and both were returned. For me, the staff was friendly and helpful each and every day no matter what time or need. However, I can't say the same for my friends. We did have some issues which were resolved by the manager. I've read so many of the other reviews and I'm not sure what was going on during their stays or if those people traveled together and each write a review but my experience was nothing short of fantastic. Maybe because I went after the extremes of covid lock down. I plan on returning for more great fun and relaxation. Prayerfully it will be great again.

Yelp
We stopped in here to check out the beach and parking said restaurant only, so we went to the restaurant. We would not be disappointed!!! Service was amazing. Seated right away. View was beautiful atmosphere was casual. Waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. They had build your own pizzas and there specials. Wife built here own said it was great. I chose there beef gyro it was Amazing with Hand cut fries. Gyro came with pieces of gyro meat falling out of the sandwich

Yelp
great beach and water. good snorkeling , friendly staff . their web site states the mattresses were replaced 2 years ago, however our unit ,222, must have missed the change over. mattress was thick like expensive ones, but the center was depressed. just a terrible mattress and ruined my sleep every night bathroom was fine but rest of unit was very dated and the sofa cover was stained and dirty too bad as this could be a great place the bar was fine and friendly. the restaurant was a 3 at best but adequate there appears to be no active manager at location. I would have loved to speak with someone who was truly in charge I will consider returning if I can get a confirmation about mattresses being "new".

Yelp
This place is a tourist trap. So many other better hotels. If you're looking to come here for the beach don't!!! Restaurant is mediocre at best. the security guards here run a scam where they put a boot on your car, charge you ridicules amount of money to remove it. I watched as a family was held hostage after a security guard told them to park at that spot. Booted them and force the dude to pay cash or their car would be towed. Holding a baby. The worst!! Hotel management supports this. Don't go here!!! Avoid avoid avoid

Yelp
We really weren't sure what to expect in light of USVI/BVI recovery from Irma and Maria. It is evident they are rebuilding this beautiful little oasis. The buildings are freshly painted lovely a Tiffany Blue. Our unit has new sliders, porch hardware and furniture. The interior has all new kitchen cabinets and appliances. The bathroom is also fully renovated. A walk around the grounds also reveals they are still renovating units (however I'm not saying the place is a construction site because it isn't.) The fitness center is small and will accommodate about 4 or 5 at a time. All the equipment and weights are new. Will be able to get a decent work out in I'd say. The beach is beautiful and there are a good number of families. We are about a 1 mile walk from Red Hook and if you are up for hill climbing it is doable. However the lazy mans approach is to hail a cab and the cost is approximately 5 per person plus tip. The staff are pleasant but I'd did have to call out Trevor for a C Painkiller at the bar. He took it well and the next one was a much better outcome.

Yelp
I liked this beach a little more than Magens Bay, but less than the beaches on St. John. The beach and parking lot is pretty small, so if you get here before the cruise ships you'll love it. This was a pretty relaxing beach, but the chairs get rented / sold out completely. Entering the water, there are pebble-sized rocks, water shoes definitely helped getting in and out. If you like snorkeling, go to the right of the beach near the rocks, you'll see lots of fish, sea urchins, and coral.

Angela K.

Yelp
We stayed here about two weeks ago and it was everything they claimed to be. The most beautiful beach and great snorkeling right off the beach. Food is also fabulous on both the casual and fine dining sides. Beach bar and surf shop were also very useful amenities. Clean room and attentive staff with the quick maintenance call we made. Phil made sure we were happy with our accommodations from the minute we walked through the resort doors all the way through arranging our ride back to the airport on our last day. We did leave the resort for some shopping etc but you really don't have to leave if you don't want to. Everything you need is right there ! Will be back!

Cataldo M.

Yelp
Great empty beach with good snorkeling. Limited parking available. Saw plenty of turtles and the resident octopus.

Emily G.

Yelp
Best bartenders and staff!! We love Scotty he is AMAZING deserves 10000 stars!!!! We also loved Johnny, Lee, Adam and Erin! Also loved Kelly the manager she is so nice and helpful! Much love from Emily and Isabella we will be back!!! 10/10 recommend!!!

Yelp
Very nice resort. Stayed for 10 nights. The snorkeling was fantastic! Sting rays, sea turtles, a million types of fish and other sea critters. The beach is well maintained and there were plenty of chairs with tables, and available beach towels on which to relax. A bar and restaurant on the beach are also available, although we only a ate at the restaurant once. The prices are a bit high for a regular dinner out for four. The room was nice with a kitchen. I can't say enough good things about our house keeper Clementine; always happy and accommodating. They have a dive shop that rents out gear. If you love to snorkle I recommend being your own to avoid rental fees. Would definetly stay here again.
google avatar

Yelp
*This is a review of the beach not the resort. This is probably honestly one of the best kept secrets in St. Thomas and is worth the drive wherever you are. A little difficult to find since its not right off any major roads and there are a few turns to get to it, plus not a ton of public beach parking. However, this beach is perfect, prime location, sunny white beaches, and plenty of shady palm trees as well. If you want to snorkel they have some of the best right under Coki. We brought our own gear but they also have a rental place there on the beach but I am unsure about prices. Its amazing how many beautiful things you can find just a few feet under the water. So many different types of fish and coral to admire and just a few feet from the shore. If you just want to wade and swim near the shore the sand is perfect for that and you don't have to worry about rocks (and those spiky sea urchin that come with them!). Great place to spend the day or just a few hours. They also have a beach bar with typical beach food at affordable prices, as well as an ocean front reaturaunt for more dine evening dining (getting around to eventually trying that).

Hannah W.

Yelp
Thank you, Maria for the excellent service! We sailed to secret harbor for lunch. We tried the Caesar salad the gyro and Reuben. Great food. I also loved the rose sangria. Will stop here again.

Yelp
The worst service I have ever experienced!!! I unfortunately still have until Tuesday to be at that this hell hole. It is now Thursday and still no service. Don't stay here you have to constantly leaves to get a real taste of the island.... never again in my life!!!

Yelp
We just got back from our 2nd stay at Secret Harbour and loved it just as much as the first time! Just some thoughts about the comparison of staying in different beach front units: You may get two T.V.s or just one. If it's important to have a T.V. in the bedroom I would advise requesting a unit with two televisions ahead of time. You may get a DVD and VCR or just one or the other. This year we had two pullout sofa's in the living room and last year we had only one. Some kitchens are better stocked than others and appliances vary. We had no dishwasher this time but the housekeeper washed any dishes we may have left in the sink. Furniture varies as well as what amenities the owner of the unit will allow you to have access to. Last year we had access to a closet full of beach toys, snorkel gear, games, fans, books, etc. This year, we didn't. We had more minor problems with our condo this year than last. Several times the toilet tank didn't fill with water but it was resolved quickly without anyone having to come into the unit. The toaster was broken and it was replaced immediately. The stove didn't work but was fixed quickly. The problem was simply that after cleaning the elements were accidentally unplugged from the main power source. The reason I mention all this is because if you do have a problem, the management will take care of the problems and will do it quickly!! Because the condo's are individually owned they can really vary but the basics are there for you, which are better than most hotel rooms you could find. Overall, Secret Harbour is our first choice and we will keep coming back!

Laura O.

Yelp
I went there for my birthday and it took almost 40 minutes to get a small lobster tail priced at 60$. Not worth it. The server didnt give a good service. On top of that it took 30 min to get the check, pay and get the change. I had to get up and look for the waitress myself.

Yelp
Second visit from our cruise ship and it was great. But I think the secret is out as we found the beach a bit mire crowded than last time but still plenty if room. More fishes out so got some better pics with my go pro. Rented a paddle boat (seats 4, about $25 for 30 min and $30 for a hour...same cost as 2 person kayak). No need to rent chairs abd umbrella as there was plenty of shade and our towels was good enough. Taxi from cruise port was $10pp. Definitely a great day but shhhhh keep this between you and me.

Yelp
First visit to Secret Harbor and it far exceeded our expectations. We booked through Expedia and received the VIP room upgrade to a beachside 1BR (room 131) and it was amazing. Clean, comfortable room with awesome views of the beach. It had a full kitchen with stainless appliances which have us the opportunity to head to the local food mart to stock up on breakfast foods and drinks... Saved a ton of $$$$. Food was good at the resort but pricey as expected (try the Ahi Nachos) The beach was secluded and quiet with the best snorkeling on the island. We will definitely return someday.

Arthur F.

Yelp
An overall awful experience. The front desk literally lost my luggage. They gave my luggage away to another departing party and I had to personally spend a day tracking it down - it was comical. It is one thing to make a mistake and another thing to be literally unrepentant about it. I called them several times afterwards for updates and the ladies would just get annoyed and hang up. The situation was only saved by the fact that the assistant manager Javier stepped in and went about solving the problem and eventually finding the missing luggage. Commend him for that. I spent $520 for the night - worst money ever spent on anything. Highly recommend avoiding this resort to avoid an experience like this.

Yelp
Fantastic quiet and relaxing beach. Brought our own snorkeling equipment so we could snorkel throughout the week without going broke. Very nice beach with plenty of chairs and towels for resort guests.

Yelp
Been going to secret harbour since the late 90's. We go there every year and stay in building number 4 on second floor . The views and the beach are among the best on the island. It's a small place and in off season you could be the only one on the beach in the morning. You swim with the fishes here. You want to stay on the beach there are some other rooms up the hill which can be a haul. This is a boutique condo hotel. Margaret at the front desk has always welcomed us with open arms. The rooms are big we stay in a one bedroom big kitchen 20ft terrace facing beach an sea. On-premise restaurant. Also a dive center where you can get your license also . People I've met over the years all seem to like it here no love it really. Will be going down for our anniversary as we do every year. It is situated on the east end of the island 5 minutes from Redhook and the ferry to St John .

Yelp
Amazing service and staff!! Not to mention...THE BEACH is everything!!!! We will definitely be back :)

Yelp
We came here on a suggestion from our taxi driver. The beach at the resort was great. It was not too crowded when we visited the place. There are beach chairs on the beach and they are for the residences of the resort. You can rent chairs from the dive shop on the other side of the restaurant. Overall, we had a great experience at the beach. You will need to swim out a little bit to find fishes for snorkeling. There are clean individual restrooms at the restaurant bar that you can use. There are also clean water faucets at the walk way near the beach to clean yourself up. The ride took about 30 minutes from the cruise port and it cost $11 per person each way. Do not forget to arrange a time for the taxi driver to come back and pick you up.

Yelp
So we checked in here on Thursday and sadly we're leaving here Monday. Outstanding customer service. We know some of the names to the beautiful smiles. Margaret and Jean-Claude were always exceptional. Thank you for a great vacation and you made us feel like home and family. We highly recommend Secret Harbour, you will love this place. We attended a wedding here, and it will be unforgettable.

Yelp
Stayed at Secret Harbor Beautiful Beaches great for snorkling , The staff was very friendly we stayed in room 125 and when you walk in it looks great but we had a few hick ups here and there. But overall a good stay . If you are looking for a quiet charming polace this is it it.Thisis not the Ritz or anything fancy. Do not go to the outdoor restaurant its nasty. The Blue moon cafe is no longer there I was dissapointed after reading great reviews .The dive shop is great and has awsome tours and snorkle rentle. They have tennis courts a gym and laundry facillities and a pool. The bar is great!!!

Yelp
We didn't stay at this resort but rather took a taxi ($10 per person) from Red Hook one day after a local recommended it as a quiet, non-touristy place to visit. With FIVE cruise ships in port that day, it was a godsend. Locals will tell you can walk there, but it was a twisty confusing road with several steep hills...so...yeah, taxi it was. The beach is part of the Secret Harbor resort and such, if you want chairs or umbrellas and you aren't a guest, you have to pay for them. I think it was $20 for 2 lounge chairs & an umbrella. Having already spent an ungodly amount of money on taxis around the rest of the island, we spread our beach towels under one of the many shady trees to be found. They have a restaurant and beach bar right on the water front (the site of many weddings I'm sure) and the bartender was an awesome, friendly guy. Happy hour at the bar has $3 Cruzan drinks and a (slightly) discounted food menu. Yes please! There's also a dive shop on site & the employees were very helpful about discussing tours & snorkeling on the island.

Yelp
We stayed here on a family vacation a few years ago in a 2nd floor beach front unit. The unit was decorated with a cheery Caribean flare. It was a good size for our family with a pull out murphy bed in the living area and huge bedroom. The kitchen was great for a quick meal or breakfast in. We loved the beach with the gradual walk into the calm water of the bay. For the days/times we utilized the beach we didn't run into the "cruise ship crowds" and it was very peaceful. There was a very nice pool that we used at night. If you like smaller resorts, you will love Secret Harbour!

Yelp
Nice little quite resort. Good restaurant and bar. Great beach, the rooms are a little dated but clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. Thanks Secret Harbor! Nice job.

Yelp
We came here looking for property to buy and we learned so much from both our realtor and the locals. Each and every unit is different as they a individually owned, so if you read a review that complains about this place being "run down" just know that that was only one of the units not the entire place as a whole. We saw some stunning units that were very high end on the decorating and then others a little less so. One thing was clear, everyone LOVES Secret Harbour, from the staff who work there, to the owners, to the many friendly locals you encounter! The Cruzan Beach bar had an huge selection of rum in every flavor and the food was wonderful, great portions and reasonably priced. The ahi tacos were to die for! They also have a great breakfast that is supposed to run until 11 am but I think they should be fair and have a sign posted that states if you don't place your order by 10:45 then the chef is already switching over for lunch and you are not getting any breakfast. I get that the switch over requires that amount of time but you really should let people know. We were fortunate enough to to have our server from the night before warn us about this so we arrived by 10:20 however we felt bad for a couple of other parties that arrived at 10:46 and 10:50 and were very upset to be told that they couldn't order breakfast from a restaurant that advertises that breakfast runs until 11....and they make a very valid point! The breakfast was great as were the Bloody Mary's. We also ate at the Sunset Grill beachfront restaurant and it was amazing!! The best lobster I have ever had in my life and I've been to a lot of places! We loved hanging at the beach and never encountered any rocks or pebbles like you'd definitely find at Sapphire you just have to watch out for the coral but the water is so clear you can easily walk around it. We observed beach goers over our four day stay and not one man, woman, or child was wearing water shoes as it's very sandy!! I wanted to be fair and note that although Sapphire has a rocky entrance it too has amazing snorkeling and is well worth the visit! We loved that Red Hook is so close and also has wonderful places for food. The best place for pizza is Island Time pub..they have a huge variety and welcome you putting your own twist on things. I had the cheeseburger pizza which I was told has no marinara sauce but a ketchup/mustard base instead. I really wanted to try it but was scared of what I envisioned would be too much ketchup and mustard but they were perfectly fine with me requesting marinara sauce instead and it was absolutely delicious! It really tasted like a cheeseburger! We just absolutely loved, loved, loved Secret Cove!

Yelp
Stayed here 2 nights over the Memorial Day weekend. The location and beach are great but the front desk service was sub-par. Margaret was the woman who assisted us when we checked in and honestly there is nothing nice that I can say about her attitude. She was rude and unpleasant. Not exactly the way you want to start off your vacation. The room was clean and comfortable. I would have rated this place 4 stars had it not been for her inappropriate attitude. For no apparent reason she treated us like we were ignorant children instead of grown professional adults. We did not appreciate the unwarranted attitude.

Yelp
This place was FANTASTIC. We landed in Charlotte Amalie and immediately realized we were in the wrong spot. The Secret Habour Resort had a one bedroom for us and it was the most beautiful and serene place to stay. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff was so nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean and I LOVED having a kitchen to cook in the morning. It's also close to bars, the golf course (kinda close) and other resorts like the four seasons. Would definitely suggest this to anyone coming to St Thomas.

Yelp
Beautiful condo with breathtaking views and sunsets! The entire staff were friendly and helpful in making our stay a pleasant one. The 1BR beachfront condo was spacious, clean, well maintained and made us feel comfortable. Great East end location with numerous activities not too far away. Secret Harbor had the perfect balance of entertainment and peace and quiet. Not too crowded and we can't wait to go back for our 3 year Anniversary!

Yelp
The location was amazing. Having a full kitchen with blender and other appliances made the stay easier so we did not have to eat out three times a day. We stayed in a first floor beachfront and you could walk right out into the sand. The hotel restaurant was not the best.

What a great experience my boyfriend and I had. From drinks at the bar with Anna to the trip to swim with the sea turtles with capitan Rick

Yelp
This was a beautiful hidden gem of a beach to visit. It is called Secret Harbor because apparently many of the boats would miss it and once they realized its existence, it was too late! Secret Harbor has a lot of snorkeling but you should bring your own goggles. Also, you have to rent lounge chairs and umbrellas and it's pretty expensive and not great quality. This was a really fun day!
