The secret is out! I have been wanting to try this place. Wait time was about 10 minutes, no big deal. Seating in doors or outside. Service was great. The sandwichs are decent size, we split the chicken sandwich. It was delicious! I had to feature the sweet tea because I could just drink that all day! Highly recommend!

Google
The hype is real folks. This place has been suggested by a lot of locals. Dropped by for brunch. Expect wait times since the place seems to be always in demand. The ambience is very good. We had a few questions while trying to place an order and our server Kiki was super helpful in answering questions. She was also helpful in making customizations to the menu items so as to cater to our needs. Only complaint we had is that eggplant sandwich is a bit greasy. The salad (Lucy) was very fresh and delightful. You have limited on street parking options which are full most of the time. So, be prepared to park your vehicle a little further away. Also be prepared for longer wait times during peak hours

Google
I don’t give many 5 but this place blew me away. The sandwiches were fantastic, solid local drink options and everything was delicious. The minor nitpick might be slightly longer on the toast for the bread so it has a little more resistance to the juicy components but even that doesn’t dim the deliciousness. We had the Rosemarie, the Adam’s and a kids ham and cheese. All were good, pickles were great, fries were perfect mix of crispy and soft inside and chips were crunchy and well done. All great

This is an amazing restaurant. The prices here are AMAZING! Me and my partner got both our meals for under 40$ There is usually a wait here as this place is very popular however after eating here I can see why. Definitely worth the wait. Service was great and my burger was amazing. Five stars all the way.

Google
Secret Sandwich Society delivered across the board! The Dynamo burger was juicy and full of bold flavor. The Lucy salad was fresh and fantastic—my only suggestion would be to chop the leaves a bit more to make it easier to eat. The real standout was the pimento cheese loaded fries—different in the best way and probably the biggest hit of the table. Great food, cool vibe, and a menu full of unique twists. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
We stopped in here Sunday after cruising through NRG Natl. Park. Seen some veggie / vegan options on the menu and took advantage of it. Definitely did not disappoint. We sat on the patio and our server was seriously awesome, kind and actually present. Not just running from table to table doing the most to make some tips. We plan to come back to the park for camping and hiking and will definitely be eating here when we get back.

Google
Absolutely delicious! Placed an order to go, sat at the bar while we waited. Highly recommend the Washington and the Hoover as well as the parmesan cheese fries, pimento cheese fries, and homemade chips. Tasty pickles too!

Google
We were so excited to try secret sandwich Society in Fayetteville, West Virginia. It comes with a large online reputation. We called the restaurant to see if there were vegetarian options as many of our group members were vegetarian when we arrived at the restaurant. There was a 25 minute wait. Several menu options were vegetarian but included eggplant. We wish we could have substituted items in the sandwiches to make them more personalized for our taste. We ordered the Fillmore sandwich without the eggplant and added a plant based burger instead, but got charged, but got charged a lot of money to make a sandwich this way. More vegetarian options and varieties are needed in your sandwich options. another person got the plant base burger with jalapeños and onions and cheese. The bun was so dry she could not eat it. The bun was flaky as if it was very old. Another person got the Fillmore original. The eggplant was deep fried and oily. Overall, I would recommend this place. There are not many vegetarian options and weight staff does not know how to guide vegetarians. I would recommend more variety to the menu. let’s go.

Yelp
Let me tell y'all something. If you're ever in this area of WV this place is a MUST go to! The best sandwiches I've ever had. The service was amazing, the inside was super sleek and clean. The food and everything about it tasted, looked, smelled and was fresh! I got the Rose Marie sandwhich with the chips and a side salad with melon ceaser dressing. The chips were some of the best house made chips I've had. They were super crunch and not soggy at all. The turkey on the sandwhich tasted like Thanksgiving turkey, and was so moist. The bread was toasted amazingly as well! Highly highly recommend!

Yelp
Incredible atmosphere, food, and service. We arrived at 8pm which was close to closing time. The young man was very friendly about seating us and our waitress was very attentive. We started with the chips and parm Brussels . Both were delish! Then, had the Delano and house salad.... We left more than satisfied and happy we stopped....... Fresh, scrumptious, and different!!

Yelp
Great stop during a light snow fall. Love the new building setup! Easy to "find" and plenty of parking. I ordered the Rose Marie and my wife selected the Fillmore. We knew going in to save half our sandwiches for dinner at our hotel that night as we traveled further north that afternoon. The service was quick and everything was delivered at the same time. Loved the warm sandwich on this chilly day. All in with tip was $43

Yelp
It's a cold and snowy evening and just wanted a warm place to eat and have a lavation. The weather had kept most sane folks in so plenty of easy parking. Also means I got to be seated anywhere I wanted. I opted to sit at the bar. The bartender was very nice and well versed in the restaurants menu. She also made an excellent Old Fashioned. I had the burger with American cheese and everything else with the fires. It was delicious. Great time, great food. Great to be back as it has been apparently four years since my last visit as the restaurant burned and has been rebuilt and celebrated its one year anniversary.

Yelp
I'm so glad Secret Sandwich Society reopened! It's my second go-to dinner option when in Fayetteville. The first being Pies and Pints. I usually get the Velvet Burger, which comes with bacon, French onion dip, balsamic onions, and swiss cheese and also fries. It's always very tasty and satisfying. I also tried their wings, made buffalo style. It was okay. They only gave us drums. This restaurant gets packed on the weekends. We showed up on a Saturday night and it was a 50 minute wait so we opted for take-out to eat on their patio. It was still about a 40-minute wait for food. They need to get heat lamps for the patio.

Yelp
I love Secret Sandwich Society! Arrived on a Saturday afternoon at 4 to a 35 minute wait for a table but my party of two was able to squeeze into two bar stools. We were quickly sipping beer and reading the menu and both of the two attentive bartenders checked in with us regularly. We started with toasted Brussels Sprouts with feta, hot honey and balsamic. They were packed with a perfect blend of flavors and I will be trying to replicate the dish at my next holiday dinner! We also had house made potato chips with pimento cheese. Chips are addictive and while the cheese was pleasant, I generally chose to eat my chips with the Brussels Sprouts. Goodness! Such a great way to start a meal after having burned 4000 calories hiking at Nee River Gorge! For my sandwich, I ordered the Fillmore - vegan fried eggplant, roasted garlic mayo, provolone, red onions, cherry peppers & greens on a toasted baguette. Mm. Mmm. Mmmmm!! Eggplant was fried but not greasy. Garlic mayo was flavor abundant! Everything else provided a perfect compliment! Fries at SSS are great! Crisp, flavorful and no sogginess! I have been to both SSS outposts (Fayetteville, WV and Richmond, VA and throughly enjoyed both. Please expand more!!

Yelp
So clever and creative This place gets all the stars We split a sammich and fries - it was shaved steak and it was SO SO GOOD. Plenty of parking Staff was lovely Restrooms very clean The bread was so good!!!
google avatar

Kenna G.

Yelp
Nice restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. I tried the LadyBird and it was decent - the chicken was a little bit tough, but the flavors were good. Their garlic mayo is FIRE, it was great to dip the sandwich in, as well as the potato chips. My waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. Only complaint I have with service is after telling the hostess it would just be myself dining in, she immediately tried to put me at the bar. I completely get this when it's busy, but it was a Thursday afternoon at 4:00, and there were plenty of open tables. It makes me feel as though because I'm by myself, I am not a worthy enough customer for a table. Would of loved just the option of "Would you like to sit at the bar or at a table"

Yelp
Highly recommend this hidden John that I found during a visit to new River Gorge national Park. The Truman sandwich is incredible with flavor, combinations of peach jam, blue cheese, and turkey. The customer service was incredible and I enjoyed one of the local lager as well. Will definitely be returning again and again.

Yelp
Probably my favorite meal of our vacation to the New River Gorge area! We came here for dinner last Saturday evening after a long day of exploring. This restaurant is right on the edge of downtown Fayetteville and hosts a spacious patio. They were busy on a Saturday (20-30 minute wait), but the hostess let us know we could sit and eat at the bar if we wished. There was no wait there, and so we did! I'm glad, too -- the bartender and our waitress (Lindsay, if I remember correctly?) was fantastic! The restaurant is pretty inside and has a modern and chic vibe. I loved it. The menu consists mostly of sandwiches and burgers but there are a lot of options and many of them are quite creative! They also have a good number of craft cocktails and beers. I was feeling like celebrating, so I asked Lindsay which of their cocktails was on the sweeter side since that is usually my preference. She recommended the BLT (blackberry, lemon, and thyme, mind you) shrub and so I ordered that and she made me one. Boy, she didn't steer me wrong. One of the better cocktails I've had in a very long time. Sweet, fruity, effervescent, strong but not cloying -- it was fantastic! For our meals, my parents split the Hoover (fried chicken sandwich), I got the Lady Bird (grilled chicken, bacon, chipotle mayo), and my husband got the Delano (fried fish). Hubs and I got fries while my parents had the house chips. My only major gripe about this place is our food took a pretty long time to come out. They were quite busy but it was still a little on the excessive side. Oh, and my husband's fish, while tasty, was a very thin and small cut of meat, which was disappointing to him. When our food did arrive, though, it was delish! I'm partial, but I think I got the best thing -- big, tender, juicy chicken breast, smoky bacon, slightly spicy and generous chipotle mayo, and fresh, crispy fries...it was a winner! My parents, who I could tell were skeptical when I recommended we go here, were also very pleased and devoured their half sandwiches. The house chips were great, too! My husband enjoyed the taste of his sandwich but like I said, was disappointed by the portion (especially compared to my and my parents' sandwiches). He agreed I outbought him. ;) Overall, I'd give my experience a 4.5 but don't think I quite would round up to a 5 due to the long wait for our orders. Still, I'd absolutely wholeheartedly recommend a visit here while in Fayetteville!

Yelp
Secret Sandwich Society is absolu-freaking-delicious! I ordered The General and parmesan truffle fries with a side of parmesan ranch. Usually, I get the Eisenhower, but I wanted to switch it up today. I'm glad I did. I might have a new favorite sammich at SSS! YUM!

Yelp
We decided to stop here after getting recommended this place by a few locals, and I can see why they recommended it. This has to be one of the best sandwich shops I've been to. Everyone told us to get the Brussels sprouts with feta and they were so good. They portion was huge and we didn't think the two of us would finish it, but we ate the whole thing. For my sandwich, I got the Roosevelt. It had a very strong horseradish flavor which I really liked and the roast beef was perfect. The pickle on the side was a bit too vinegary for me but I saw other people taking containers of pickles home. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, we chose to sit inside. The indoor seating has table service and our waitress was super friendly. The menu doesn't have any pricing, you have to scan a QR code for pricing. It looked like the sandwiches were priced between $12-$16. If you are in the Fayetteville area, definitely make a stop here!

Yelp
Subway vs Secret Sandwich Society for a sandwich? No brainer! I am glad I suggested a longer late lunch break from our day of New River Gorge National Park visiting. I'm not a big sandwich person, but I would go back if I lived here because there were so many sandwiches I wanted to try. You can tell there is a lot of attention given to this business. The space was fabulous (we are at the bar by choice), the names on the sandwich choices were fun and each sandwich ingredient were unique). Nice job to the owners. I had the Truman as the peach jam, blue cheese spread and crispy onion stings grabbed my attention. The Rose Marie was my 2nd choice. My husband enjoyed his Roosevelt Roast Beef sandwich. We wished we had more time and not fill stomachs to have the Key Lime Pie. I like to try different cocktails and the BLT Shrub didn't disappoint. We even had the pleasure of enjoying lavender simple syrup made in house. There was no shortage of staff to keep everything humming and everyone seemed happy. Shout out to Lindsay for taking great care of us.

Yelp
I've eaten here many times. My favorite is the Velvet burger...and the fries are delicious. We also love the homemade chips and french onion dip.

Yelp
Really cute restaurant, but unfortunately we couldn't enjoy dining there (even on the patio) because they don't allow dogs. There was a side yard with picnic tables you could eat at that was away from the actual building. We opted to take ours to go & eat at our airbnb. The food was flavorful! I imagine it's even better fresh & not after 20 minutes of sitting in the cartons. If you are a truffle lover like me, get the truffle fries! The Brussels were delicious, I just wish they'd been cooked a hair longer because they were a bit crunchier than I normally like. All in all, very tasty and would recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Passing by Fayetteville and found this great restaurant to eat. Recommended by locals too. Their sandwich is name after presidents and 1st of the United States I think. Some last name I recognize Who doesn't like sandwich with toast bread and a side of fresh crunchy fries. I think they do use a lot of msg because I was so thirsty afterward. I went late and still produce excellent food before close. Good drink and food menu. After a big meal you can go hike the national parks nearby and burn some calories Parking can be a issue during rush hours so beware.

Yelp
The food in here is next level. My burger was amazing and my wife's wings were crazy good. I obviously snagged one and the sleeping on the couch tonight was worth it! Bartender was fantastic. The drinks were solid speak-easy caliber. Well done guys!

Yelp
We came here twice on our visit to New River Gorge. We love their outdoor seating. We were going to take food to go but it was so lovely out that we opted to eat there. Never made it inside. My son and I had the special - chicken with mozzarella, pesto, basil and tomato on a ciabatta. It was meh. The bread tasted like it was from Costco. My husband got the pioneer without cheese. It was soooo good! We came back a second time and I got the pioneer with cheddar and truffle fries to share. The fries were yummy. Their pickles are as advertised. Homemade and yummy. I had a matador to drink which was great and ridiculously small for $13. You order at a window and they text you when it is ready. They bring it to you depending how busy it is.
google avatar

Yelp
We ordered some carryout here last week after a long day on the river rafting. Incredibly unique and delicious sandwiches all around the table. Very clean and updated locale, it seemed. Window service was quick and pleasant.
google avatar

Wendy V.

Yelp
Sandwiches, homemade pickles and chips were amazing. Beer and cider was great. Our server was very attentive. Nice atmosphere too! Great find!
google avatar

Jayci G.

Yelp
Really good. I had the Hoover and my niece had the Roosevelt and we were both thrilled. Their French onion dip is good, too. The fries are different - maybe a different kind of potato than normal, or maybe that's just what freshly made French fries taste like! Delicious and great service and two of us got out of there for $55 including tip.

Yelp
I don't like writing bad reviews or criticizing people because it can affect their income and their families. Also, people's mindset changes from day to day even moment to moment. But I felt that what I experienced today was bad enough to write about. I live in California. My job takes me to places all over the country and I have also traveled throughout Asia and both eastern and western Europe. I am currently contracted to a hospital in Charleston, WV, and although I have been working there since April of this year, this is the first time I spent a weekend here. Since I am not familiar with the area, I asked some of my co-workers for something to do or somewhere to try over the weekend. Below you will see a recommendation for the Secret Sandwich Society. After a morning of driving and hiking, I finally made it to the restaurant. The place seemed elegant for a sandwich restaurant, filled with happy people, having drinks, chatting. . . I found an empty place at the bar and ordered a drink. I asked for a dirty vodka martini. I was offered both Tito's vodka and Grey Goose. I refused both and opted for Finlandia (or so I was told). My drink arrived and then I ordered a turkey sandwich (Rose Marie) without red peppers, because I am allergic. The sandwich did not arrive after 23 minutes. I watched as other people received their meals, but mine was not to be seen. I had a meeting to attend in Charleston so I couldn't delay any longer. My server (Rudy) came by and told me that the sandwich would be at least another 7 minutes. At this time I informed him that I could wait no longer as I had a meeting to attend an hour away. He became indignant and began to make snide comments that I was sketchy from the beginning and that I should just wait for the meal. He brought me the bill for the drink I had, I paid, then I left. The whole incident left a bad taste in my mouth. I was really looking forward to trying the food at this place as it was highly recommended by several people at St. Francis Hospital. I really didn't like the way I was treated, and I would probably have let it slide until I saw the bill (below). Table 107, Sketch Dude Allergy. Is this really how this company treats its customers? What exactly was sketchy about me? Is it because I am a person of color? Did it bother you that I didn't want Tito's vodka (which, by the way, the receipt says you served me)? Are people not allowed to have food allergies? And even if I was "sketchy," why should that affect how long it takes to cook my food? I am sorry but I can not recommend a company that employs such people. Your company really needs to improve it's hiring practices, or at least invest some time in training for better customer relations

Yelp
Secret Sandwich Society is a MUST if you're within 60 minutes of Fayetteville. The burgers they serve are easily in the Top 5 burgers I've ever eaten in my life. Don't be fooled, this isn't just a local deli to grab lunch at. This is a destination if you're looking for great food and a nice ambiance. We ordered the Parmesan fries, sweet potato fries, the Velvet Burger, and the Timberwolf Burger. All four items were absolutely delicious. If we would've had more time in town, we would've come back for round two because this place of definitely worth it. Hands down best burger in town. 10/10 would recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
This is not your ordinary sandwich shop. They serve excellent specialty sandwiches that unique in flavor and name. The sandwiches are named after US Presidents and the ingredients are based on what that person is remembered for. This is a fun way of testing your knowledge of history food. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff was exceptional.

Yelp
We dawned upon this fine dining establishment on a Sunday evening after a long hike in the New River Gorge. Accompanied by our noble steed (Mason, pit-bull, 1 years old), we sought to dine indoors. However the SSS did not allow pets. We were forced to sit outside in the blistering sun, but thankfully we found solace under a tree. I ordered the Van Buren (pastrami sandwich) with fries and a lemonade. Personally, I thought the fries were too salty, and the sandwich too small. The lemonade had free refills, and helped to quench my thirst after the salty fries. I tried my friend's "Society Chips" (he ordered an Adams), and the chips quite frankly did not taste like anything. They were cut a bit too thin and tasted like crispy oil. My friend notes that the Adams needed more jalapenos. Overall, the food was okay, and the people were nice. Wish we could've sat inside though.

Yelp
Atmosphere 2/5 Food quality 3/5 Service 5/5 Portions vs price 3/5 Definitely needs a once over in the Decor, music and vibe " very stale golf clientele feel"!
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing sides, Brussel Sprouts yummy. The homemade ketchup was so much better than the sugar and corn syrup in name brands.
google avatar

Yelp
Kind and helpful customer service, DELICIOUS BUSSING sandwiches, and a great outdoor area even on a hot day- it's shaded and feels cool under the canopy. Wait time was long- 45 min for a sandwich, but I was told before I ordered so I didn't mind waiting. The Truman was delightful- a brave mix of turkey, peach chutney, blue cheese and fried onions. Each ingredient complimented each other beautifully.
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
Nice roomy dining room, very comfortable. Menu items named after presidents and First Ladies. Delicious. Service was super fast.

Yelp
First time! What a cool vibe. So glad we stumbled upon this place! I can't wait to try the fixins! Super friendly staff, super prompt service looks like a great lunch place!

Yelp
No trip to Fayetteville is complete without a stop at SSS. It's a fixture on the town and rightfully so. From the moment, I see the big black bold Secret Sandwich Society sign, I know that my taste buds are in for a treat. I go for the Van Buren. Pastrami and swiss on butter toasted rye bread. Need I say more? My next pick would be the Grover. Yes, a lot of the sandwiches are named after deceased presidents or their wives. Rest their souls! We typically visit Fayetteville in the summer and the live music gives a real vibe to this place. Imagine tons of outdoor adventure types coalescing around food, drinks, and music....it's a total spirit--in a fun authentic way. What I'm saying is it basically becomes one of the main evening hangouts in Fayetteville. For good reason.

Yelp
I loved this place. I got the Abigail with a hard boiled egg, and it was huge and delicious. We went in with a large group and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend this place

Yelp
My sandwich was soooo good. Service was friendly and excellent too. I will 100% come back here the next time I'm in town.

Yelp
We went here today after several people had recommended. We got there around 2:30 on a Saturday. Parking is few and fair between but no issue. We sat at the outside area so we wouldn't have to wait for a table. It as window service and we were told food wait was about 30 minutes at the time no biggie. Outside atmosphere is cooled by fans, lots of tables, and great vibes. Food came out around 45 minutes later this includes apps (we knew this was the case when ordering but thought is was important to note). 3/5 peoples orders were messed up but we ate it and were starving. I got the lady bird which was really good but warning it has a kick and shared there special which was a Philly cheesesteak overall ok but I thought the meat was really salty. The fries were normal fries no issues. Ordered a drink for $12 and it was about 6 oz (overpriced in my opinion) but it was good. Overall ok experience I'm glad we tried it but wouldn't go again.

Tim T.

Yelp
Looks like a new building that was very comfortable. A nice size full bar and inside & outside dining(outside was closed -winter). Our party ordered a variety of sandwiches & burgers with homemade chips and a couple orders of loaded fries. Everything was excellent and service was good. They may have been training the food delivery guy, because he kept reaching across the 8 top table to hand food vs walking to the other side, but all good. Everyone took about half their lunch home.
google avatar

Anita R.

Yelp
Stopped in today after our hike. We ordered salads which were delicious. And my husband ordered the roast beef sandwich. The food was amazing. Our waitress, Patience, recommended the Brussels sprouts and my husband who doesn't like them at all tried one on her recommendation and loved them. They were fantastic. If we are ever in this area again we will definitely be back. Patience was great. Helpful but not intrusive

Yelp
This was the perfect spot after finishing our visit to New River Gorge NP. The drinks were tasty and the sand which to die for! I had one of their vegetarian options and it was soooo good. The food takes time but it's worth it. The location is clean and well kept. I wish I lived close by! You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is truly a hidden gem in spite of all of the signs along RT 19 spilling the beans. Very trendy, moody interior, friendly and helpful service. We got there for happy hour (3-6 M-F) and the apps were 25% off, an absolute steal. We had delicious craft cocktails as delicious as any cocktail bar in the city you might find. Don't skip the pimento fries, they were the most delicious plate we had. We cleaned the plate! Crispy hot honey feta Brussels were perfect if you like some heat. Lots of crispy bits! I had the Fillmore vegan fried eggplant sandwich with sweet potato waffle fries. A delicious vegan option. My boyfriend had the VELVET burger which had bacon, french onion dip, balsamic onions & swiss. Homemade pickles on the side were garlicky and delicious. We're coming back, no question.
google avatar

Adrie G.

Yelp
They have a balcony where you can order from a window and it technically is take out because it comes in a bag and they yell your name out. This was a shorter wait than eating inside (dining in). We appreciated that they were up front and told us the balcony wait was 40 mins for the balcony and 1 hour for inside. We waited 1 hour 20 mins for our food. They were SLAMMED though and very apologetic. My sandwich was one of the best I've ever had and the brussel sprouts with the hot honey were to die for.
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
Creative, fun sandwich joint close to downtown. Friendly, attentive service, large dining room as well as a great covered deck, too. My sandwich was very good, as were the house-made chips.

Yelp
Secret Sandwich Society is back, baby! I cannot describe how much I missed this place. Arrived on Friday afternoon. They had been open for a total of 12 days! The place is bigger and better! Great outdoor patio/beer garden, large indoor seating area with a nice bar. Our server was great! Pimento cheese fries are a must! Crisp fries layered with hot pimento cheese, get it loaded for bacon and jalapeño! Choose any one of the sandwiches, I'd recommend a chicken, any chicken. Was so good I forgot to snap a picture. Don't get me started on the PICKLES! I got 2 quarts to go!
google avatar

Blake H.

Yelp
The atmosphere and decor catches your attention immediately, they've done an excellent job creating ambiance that matches their name. In terms of the cuisine, the flavors are well thought out and well composed, they flow well together and provide an enjoyable culinary experience. If I had to knock them for anything, it would be the quality of their meats. They certainly do not match the price tag you're met with on the menu. You're paying for the "cool" ambiance over top notch food without a doubt. Our server was attentive and did her job well!
google avatar

Amanda B.

Yelp
Worth the wait. A great local spot for burgers and fries! The quality was amazing! Refreshing cocktails. Beautiful space. Friendly service. Would definitely return if we were in the area! I love truffle fries- while they are good the pimento were out of this world-just in case you're torn between the two like I was
google avatar

Randy M.

Yelp
Have tried many of their great sandwich's They all are fantastic. This place has been remodeled and has a great vibe The new bar is awesome They also have a ton of craft beers
google avatar

Yelp
Sandwich was really good! I got the Kennedy which was much more meat than I was expecting but still delicious.

Rich S.

Yelp
We'll be back! Pimento fries and a homemade meatloaf sandwich and classic Ruben...rocked it. Good service and great food!
google avatar

Yelp
Loved our lunch here! It looked crowded but we got seats at the bar easily. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I loved the decor And ambiance. Rudy the bartender was the friendliest nicest best server I've had in years. He was genuine helpful and busy as Hell! He handled it all so well. Our delicious food came quickly and was promptly devoured. My friend loves the Truman. The Adam's was a great choice for me. I loved the chips And the pickle seemed homemade or gourmet. It was unique but tasty! I'd happily return. This was such a great find after a morning of rafting.

Yelp
Evidently, they are in a new place and have been open about 3 weeks. First off. The entrance and setup is the weirdest thing on the planet. It is hard to figure out the entrance. They have an odd gate that I don't understand. A lady stands guard and tells you where to go. You can eat inside, which is normal. Or you can order at a window and eat outside. Expect a 45 minute wait and no service if you eat outside. They call it take out, but allow you to eat there. Oddly, they still serve drinks outside. It is very awkward and odd. First off- the peach tea was beyond sweet. It was so sweet that I couldn't drink it. And dear lord, lose the plastic cups if you are trying to be a classy place The Lemon Parm Brussel Sprouts...cooked to perfection. Loved the way they did the lemon. I think they need to do the parm differently as I couldn't taste any parm. Was still very good. Large and nice presentation. Food was correct temp..... 4.5 stars for this. The hummus Platter I will give 5 stars. Great hummus and nice presentation. Roasted peppers were on point. The pickled onions need a little something. They were sort of tasteless. Large portion Good spot and they were very busy, but service was good. I was told a 45 minute wait, but was seated in 20 minutes. Food arrived 10 minutes later.

Yelp
Finally, a place this area was sorely in need of. Great local beer selection, serving a heck of a good sammie! There was a healthy wait during a prime holiday weekend but so what? Hang on the deck and have a few drinks. What's your rush? Definitely on the must do list next time we're in town
