Secrets on the Lake

Our stay in the Secrets Treehouse for our wedding anniversary was incredible and romantic. It really does have the wow factor with the beautiful detail in all their wood carvings inside the treehouse and along the boardwalk. The view of the lake was stunning. Cafe catered well for breakfast and lunch. Thankyou George, Aldy and team for a memorable stay. Will definitely be back.

Secrets on the Lake is a unique resort set in a beautiful forest beside a lovely lake. The treetop cabins are a combination of Swiss Family Robinson meets high-end glamping. The views through the treetops are wonderful and the serenity is sublime. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. We have visited three times and will certainly be back again. This was wedding anniversary and where we had our wedding. We come back each year and it is the best experience everyone. We love coming here to relax and unwind. The location and venue is just magical, the staff and owners always provide exceptional customer service. The quality of the food is great and personally I love the coffee too! Would highly recommend coming here for a couple of days to get away or a special event. Our wedding here was fantastic every detail was attended to, no stress. We will be back again in 2026 🙏👍

Truly unique experience. Ultimate in luxury, atmosphere, attention to detail. Fabulous tree houses, exqisite carvings everywhere to be discovered. The grounds are magnificant, canoes for guests to explore the lake. We loved the privacy and being surrounded by the bush. Staff were attentitve and friendly. Highly recommended.

I was lucky enough to meet the owner at the start of our stay and he was absolutely amazing! I can only imagine how amazing this place was when he was running it all. The other reception staff were rather short and simply rude. The rose petals I ordered were forgotten and the spa broke on first use. The cafe food and staff were outstanding. I could appreciate the work that went into each unique tree house they just required some simple maintenance and cleaning. The peace and quiet and outstanding views were the best I have experienced. It was the most beautiful weekend celebrating my 70th with my girlfriends at Secrets. We booked The Nest and loved every moment of it. The cabin was so gorgeous and spacious, the architecture amazing. We were high up in the treetops and secluded, which provided the perfect setting, as we dined and danced our feet off on the outdoor deck with spa without disturbing any other guests. The walks through this beautiful forested property refreshed all our souls. And the food at Dining on the Deck was fabulous. I would highly recommend a stay with Secrets to anyone. This week, we celebrated our 22nd anniversary. I know, everyone has them, right? But , as we were checking in to Secrets on the Lake, we couldn’t help but notice that we weren’t the only ones there for a special occasion. It made me wonder—why are so many people choosing this place for their celebrations? The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, and we were treated to a lovely walk along the boardwalk. When we entered our room, we had a “wow” moment. The room was five-star, the view was six-star, and the attention to detail and service were impressive and the rooms were very clean and had a warm feeling to them. Now, if you're a man/husband, wife or partner reading this, and you're anything like me—leaving everything to the last minute, always wanting to do something special for your partner, but they already have everything, and it just seems... too hard—then you absolutely need to check this place out. Here’s what you need to do: ask the team at Secrets for a private high tea in one of their gorgeous private rooms. Sure, it’ll cost you a bit more (there’s a room hire and high tea fee), but I promise you, your partner will be SO impressed. Just trust the team at Secrets. They’ve got you covered. Thanks to them, I’m now in the good books with my wife so much that, even if I forget her mum’s name again, I’ll still be in the clear! 😂 We had our high tea in a little lakeside house, and it was like we were on our own private island. It was so beautiful at one point, it brought tears to my eyes. I know that sounds not macho Aussie - however it is moments you remember in this like- The team at secrets really understand that point and just nail it. I don’t want to spoil too much for you , as I want you to be as surprised and delighted as we were. We only stayed one night, but we’re already planning our next visit. Secrets on the Lake is absolutely magical. So happy we stayed here for our honeymoon. The details and craftsmanship in our treehouse and the surrounding areas are beautiful. The views are incredible as well. Felt like a lost boy in Neverland. Rooms are very well equipped with everything you need. Staff were lovely but George is the heart and soul of Secrets. Such a cutie! We will be back!
