I recently stayed at Secrets Royal Beach as a solo traveler, and while I was a little nervous at first, the staff immediately made me feel at ease. Everyone was so warm and welcoming that I never once felt out of place traveling alone. The restaurants were good – I especially enjoyed Bordeaux for its elegant dining experience and Himitsu, which had a great show from the Chef’s cooking in front of you. There were plenty of options to choose from, so I never got bored with the food. The entertainment team was outstanding. They not only kept me entertained but also made sure I had company throughout the trip. There were great shows every evening and tons of activities during the day, from water aerobics to dance lessons. A huge shoutout to Francis, Nova, J Low, Jorgi, Flower and Junior for going above and beyond to make my stay so much fun! During my visit, there were some issues with sargassum on the beach, but the hotel worked hard to clear it daily, and I really appreciated their effort to keep the area as beautiful as possible. The rooms were a little dated compared to some newer resorts, but they were kept very clean and comfortable, which is what really mattered.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel and enjoyed our nice swim up room for the week. ||Carolina in concierge kindly looked after us both all week, arranging dinner on the beach for us and many other things. She was so helpful, friendly and deserves a pay rise!!!! Really lovely lady. Thanks Carolina. She made our stay very special and we felt like vip’s. ||The a la carte restaurants are all great with lots of options, tasty and lovely presentation. ||Drink selection was good & we liked the quiet pool too after 5pm as the sun was on it for a while. ||We arranged a trip to saona island which we booked at reception - was a good trip! ||Hope to be back again soon

Secrets Royal Beach was really out dated and run down looking around the resort and also room wise. We spent four nights of our honeymoon here, my husband and I payed $2644 USD for a Preferred Junior Garden Suite. ROOM 1179 beware. It was small for two people, but was even more disturbing was when using the toilet the Suite above would flush using their toilet and my husband got Poo/Piss water leaking on him. We even filmed it happening after to provide proof to the resort concierge. The concierge tried to move us to the same category room and had it not been for our Butler Yafreisis we would have been in another bad room. We were eventually out into a Master Suite across from the Preffered pool, Room 3192. It was beautiful room, but just can’t make up for the terrible food, 2 days of food poisoning, restaurant service was terrible at Olio depending on the given day. Lastly, having the toilet from ABOVE leak onto you while you use the toilet. Our butler Yafreisis, was the only thing amazing and a godsend for help and answering questions. My honest advice save your money, and check out the Excellence Group. The Secrets Royal Beach is far from the high standards of most other Secrets Resorts.

Had a wonderful 5 days at Secrets Royal Beach with my wife and 18yr old daughter and her friend. We were staying in the preferred area and had the walkout to the lazy River. Super Brian was our butler and was always available and saw us everyday. We enjoyed the beauty of the resort and loved the lazy River pool and infinity pool. We enjoyed the food options and even headed to Portofino on the Dreams side for dinner one night. Our girls had the best time and thanks to the entertainment staff and bar tenders they were always centre of attention. They loved the special pineapple drinks they got made for them and had a hard time saying good bye to everyone on the day we left. I had great experiences with all staff especially Robert G from the preferred lounge at the pool he always took care of us and tracked me down on my way out to the lobby to leave. Hard to leave this resort and the wonderful people.

My experience at Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana was excellent from start to finish. The resort felt like paradise—beautiful pools, a stunning beach, and spacious suites with every comfort. I loved the variety of activities during the day, from water aerobics to dance lessons, and the nights were full of energy with live shows and themed parties. The dining was delicious, the drinks always flowing, and the spa was the perfect place to relax. Most of all, the staff made me feel truly cared for, always friendly and attentive. It was an unforgettable stay, and I can’t wait to return.

Beautiful resort with great service! The amazing foliage provides peace and privacy. There are several waterfalls creating a soothing sound. There are plenty of restaurant options, and I never had to wait at all. The resort staff had entertainment and activities throughout the day and the service was incredible. I definitely recommend this resort!

Overall, I’d give this place 4.5 stars, if I could. From the moment you arrive you are greeted by wonderful staff. We did the preferred route so we were sent to the preferred lounge where we met our butler. From there we were given a tour of the resort, which is up kept very well. The rooms are very nice and spacious. Overall the food is pretty great. The buffet is a really nice touch and has a massive spread of food. We really enjoyed the hibachi dinner as well. My negative for the resort is that the preferred level did not seem to be worth it for the price that was paid. There are preferred pools only, around the resort. However, guests aren’t given any wristbands, etc to differentiate them from non-preferred. This made the preferred pools crowded and hard to find a seat. In addition, we rarely seen our butler. The butlers at sandals resorts are much better.

Robert G. In the Preferred Lounge makes the best cocktails on the entire resort. He gave excellent service and kept the bar fun and clean’ we had to go see Robert before and after dinner! All of the drinks should be as good as his! Also, Irving in the preferred lounge was excellent and accommodatied our every request.! They are great!
