I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Sedgefield Country Club last Saturday, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The grounds are absolutely stunning, with a timeless Southern charm that provides the perfect backdrop for a wedding. Between the lush greenery, classic architecture, and beautiful light throughout the day, it’s a dream location for both couples and photographers. The staff was incredibly professional and accommodating, making sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes so the couple could truly enjoy their day. From a vendor’s perspective, it’s always a relief to work with a team that’s organized, attentive, and welcoming. If you’re considering this venue for your wedding or event, I highly recommend it. It’s a picture-perfect setting with top-tier service—everything you’d hope for on a day that matters most.

My first ever PGA event I’ve ever watched live and it was such an amazing experience. The free stuff you got to start with the sponsor tents and stuff and then started walking the course and this course is super amazing and out of this world. Viewing the pros irl is in another world in itself and just a cool once in a lifetime experience. The Wyndham is such a fun tournament and it’s nice it’s not that far so maybe this year I can comeback cause I definitely would!! Highly recommend Sedgefield and The Wyndham

Beautiful golf course, the amateur players in the pro-am were very happy. Great food from peppermoon catering, and great teamwork with all aspects of the course and tournament. 2022 Course looks beautiful. SCC The great job of reception dinner last night for the Pro-Am pairings event.

When to the Wyndham Championship and was super surprised!! The fan zones were great, the course was immaculate, we had one of the best times we’ve ever had at a PGA tour event! We’ll be coming back to this one next year!

Yelp
This is the golf course that holds the Wyndham Golf Tournament. Very clean inside and out. Well kept grounds. Always a good time when you can play there as well.

Yelp
Just came from the sedgefield country club for the Wyndham. VERY NICE and clean golf course. For the special event there was several vendors and activities going on. But even with so much happening, the area and staff was clean and all polite. The golf course itself was very nice and clean and even the area of houses around were presentable. One of the best golf course I have been to in Greensboro.

Yelp
Great for golf fans. I come here for the Wyndham tournament each year. Great views. This is located off Groometown near several eateries.

Yelp
My lady and I had a chance to attend the final day of the Wyndham PGA Championship in Greensboro, NC this past August. What we saw (beside a lot of golf talent) was a beautiful golf course within the Sedgefield Country Club. Note that the club boast two lush, demanding and mature 18 hole challenges. Also, while this is a private club, you can apparently ... within certain parameters, play the courses. This was our first time at the Wyndham Championship. So, when purchasing our tickets for this event, we decided to "upgrade" to the "Viewing Platform" option. This cost us quite significantly more than standard admission .... and in my opinion, was a mistake on my part. Reason - there were multiple viewing platforms throughout the course - some requiring our level of tickets, others did not. As it turns out, all we received for the extra ticket money was access to open bars. And, while I like to certainly imbibe ... I would have needed to hammer down expensive drinks all day ... one after another ... in order to come close to breakeven (and, I did not see premium liquor or wine). Besides my mistake in purchasing the wrong tickets, we had a great time at this event. It was well organized, well attended and the performance of the PGA professionals was extraordinary. Now, I want to return and play one of the courses.

Yelp
I usually play golf to get hammered off some brewksys and just frickin yoke some golf balls with a driver. Apparently the people here are "professional" This old buzzard was giving me funny looks when I was sparkin up a blunt. I think him and his old lady called the cops on me but whatever. Okay place to go if you take golf way too seriously

Yelp
This is a review for the Embassy Grille which is the main dinner dining option at Sedgefield. Since this is owned by McConnell as well as Old North State Club to which the in-laws belong we were able to try it out. I was impressed immediately by the decor of the place I was just a fan of it in general. Can you really go wrong with a good printed chair? In my opinion, no! I started off with some Sauvingon Blanc while we waited for the rest of the group, they have White Haven which is sooo good. Probably too good for ability to drive purposes. So many things on the menu looked delicious, it was hard to narrow it down. I really like that they have small plate menu options and a lot of the other menu items can be served in half portions. Started off with the salad with duck confit. So good! They were liberal with the duck and it was tender and perfect. My fiance and I are not big salad people, this one we would order again in a second. The table also split some lobster mac and cheese which was awesome! It had huge delicious chunks of lobster in it. The in-laws got the salad special of the evening which was the a oyster salad. The waitress's description didn't say anything about bacon pieces in it, only that it had a bacon vinaigrette. Since my mother in law doesn't eat meat she asked for a different salad dressing. We also had to get no bacon in the mac and cheese. But, then the salad came out with bacon on it. Not sure why that would happen. Oh well, she ate around it. For my meal I got their signature dish. It was a small fillet, with asparagus, and hollandaise sauce. Ummm sign me up! I ordered it medium. It came and I took a bite and it was more like a pot roast than a filet which I thought was odd. I cut into the middle and there was not a touch of pink in sight. I never send things back but I mean this was pretty bad. The waitress apologized and they quickly made me a new one which was perfectly medium and delicious. The steak looked completely different the second time around, the kitchen had to know that was no medium steak when it went out. For dessert, they have a dessert tray! Which I love because it helps me convince other people that we need to order a dessert. We got the skillet chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream. Unfortunately the cookie was luke warm at best, but we still demolished the whole thing. They don't have decaf cappuccinos though only decaf coffee. I will be back for sure! I hear they now have an awesome spa as well, I wouldn't mind frequenting that either.

Yelp
One of the best country clubs I have been involved in, and the Embassy Grill and food is superb. Too bad I don't live in Greensboro, as I would there daily.
