HOLY SMOKES BEST SANDWICH IVE EVER HAD AND EVER WILL!!!! Traveled all the way from Canada to taste this fabulous sandwich and it did not disappoint nor did the conversation, recommendations and the service from the sweet owner truly a 10/10 experience. I hope I’m able to taste another one of those sandwiches in my lifetime. So if it’s busy be kind and patient as it’s well worth the wait 🤍✨

Google
THE best sandwich I have ever had in my life. This was the cutest place, too, with such a great owner. He was the most fun and helpful with making our order. The price initially seemed pretty normal for a tourist spot but let me tell you, it is LOW for how HUGE this food is. You will easily get two meals from these sandwiches and I don’t know how you’d ever eat a side. The price is truthfully pretty low for what you get.

John Baldyga

Google
Absolutely huge and delicious Italian sandwich. Only problem is he was all by himself, wish I could have stayed and helped if needed tho I’m only in town to visit. I will definitely be back.

Google
Hands down the best deli sandwich I’ve ever had! Bread isn’t something I normally think much about but the bread played definitely played a roll in making this sandwich so amazing. So fresh, soft and flavorful! All of the ingredients were crisp and fresh. Cute little shop with friendly staff and outdoor seating. A couple of things worth noting… we arrived shortly before noon on a Thursday and they were already sold out of many of their available sandwiches. Speaks volumes regarding their popularity but isn’t ideal if you have your heart set on something specific. These sandwiches are also HUGE! Could easily be shared between two people.

Google
The turkey sandwich on 7 Grain is quite possibly one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. Fresh baked bread and ingredients - will be thinking about it until I’m back in town. Such nice people working too!

Tim Oldiges

Google
Awesome spot to grab a some lunch, the hot pastrami was the special today and I can safely say it was as good or better than any I tried in NYC. We also got the turkey, would definitely recommend!

Julia Manobianco

Google
The sandwiches are enormous, fresh, delicious and an incredible value! This place lives up to the hype!! We ordered two sandwiches but ended up sharing one for lunch and saving the other for dinner. They are open Monday - Friday 10am - 2pm, so plan your trip accordingly. This is the best restaurant in Sedona and we can't wait to come back!

MaKenzee Townsend

Google
Honestly might have been the best sandwich I’ve ever had! My partner and I split the turkey sandwich and it was plenty for us to share. We were super bummed we couldn’t make another trip in while we were staying in Sedona. The staff are very warm and welcoming as well. The bread is baked fresh in house!

Jennifer W.

Yelp
The best sandwiches in Sedona, or anywhere else for that matter. They are HUGE (two people can easily share one); they are made on FRESH baked bread (the sesame herb is my favorite); and they are DELICIOUS. I highly encourage anyone reading this to skip the places with the hipster buzzwords and 'gram-ready decor. Get a Sedona Memories sandwich instead. You won't be sorry. Oh, and don't forget the homemade cookie! Those are pretty epic too.

Todd M.

Yelp
**Yelp Review:** I had an incredible experience at this sandwich shop today! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the owner, who was welcoming and genuinely passionate about his craft. We chatted about his business and the daily-made bread, which is truly the heart of every sandwich. The sandwiches are masterpieces--each one uniquely crafted to highlight the flavors of its ingredients. I had a turkey sandwich with cranberries and sunflower seeds, and it was hands down the best sandwich I've ever tasted. The combination of flavors and textures was exceptional, and you can tell the owner puts a lot of thought into every creation. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. This shop isn't just about great food; it's about the warmth and passion behind it. I can't recommend it highly enough! You won't want to go anywhere else.

Alexa R.

Yelp
Wow! Absolutely obsessed with the sandwiches at Memories! Love the condensed menu with creative sandwiches and the homemade bread. The sandwiches are huge so consider splitting with a friend. And of course the views here are wonderful too!

Han C.

Yelp
They definitely need to update their hours. Came by at 12:55p, and though the signs on their storefront said they close at 2p, they definitely were not open when we stopped by.

Christine B.

Yelp
For years now, we've loved stopping here for lunch when we're in Sedona on a weekday. The turkey sandwich is my favorite, full of fresh tasty items like cream cheese and sunflower seeds. I like it on the whole wheat. Here are some tips to keep in mind: -They are closed on the weekends. Open on weekdays from 10 a.m -2 p.m, so get there when you can. -If you call your order in, you get a delicious, free chocolate chip cookie! -The sandwiches are extremely large, so I'd suggest splitting with someone unless you're famished. -They have several tables outside with umbrellas. If the weather isn't agreeable or the tables are full, plan to take your sandwich on the road. -No public restrooms Truly a great lunch option in Sedona!

Doug B.

Yelp
We love the sandwiches here. Be warned that they're big enough to share. Even if you're famished from a long day on the trail, I'd plan to share -- you can always order a second one! We called ahead this time and the food was ready when we arrived. Service was fast and friendly. A few tables are available out front and parking is a bit limited, so you may need to plan accordingly. The sandwiches are good to go, but you'll want to find a place to park and eat since they can be messy! We've been coming here for many years and we actually diverted through Sedona on this trip so we could grab a sandwich here.

Ann R.

Yelp
Amazing food to refuel your tank after a lonnnnggggg hike. The bread is made fresh onsite, and they DO NOT scrimp on the meat and toppings! You could easily split these sandwiches--unless you just did a six-mile hike!!

Scott S.

Yelp
This was the best sandwich I've had in a VERY long time. Mike, the owner, bakes the bread fresh daily. The herb bread was crusty on the outside and soft & fragrant on the inside. I got the Italian sandwich. It was huge! It could easily feed 2. Loaded with Italian meats, cheese and veggies it hit on all points. I will make this a must stop every time I'm back in Sedona.

Charley T.

Yelp
Cute little place just one street over from the main strip. Seating is outside and the sandwiches are huge! My husband and I don't share but this sandwich we for sure did! We got the Tuna sandwich without the nuts. My hubby didn't want to be adventurous with his food today. We will for sure come to this little place again. Only thing I really wish they would do is regularly wipe down their tables. They were a mess! We had to wipe ours down and it wasn't busy enough for them to not be wiped down by an employee. If I go next time and their tables are cleaned I'll probably give them a 5 star.

Linda R.

Yelp
We yelped a sandwich place because we were finishing up our hike at Snoopy Rock. This came up and what a find!!! We found parking right in front (there are a few reserved spots for this restaurant). The menu consisted of specialty sandwiches but you can also customize. It looks like a family owned restaurant and looked like the owner was in the back making all the sandwiches. I have to tell you, the bread alone was spectacular. I got the Turkey on butter crust bread. The double lettuce (iceberg and romaine) put the sandwich on a whole new level. The sandwiches are huge. And you can split it if you aren't a pig. I, of course, ate it by myself. My husband ordered the roast beef on butter crust with no horseradish. He loved it. I got a ham sandwich for the kiddos with no Mayo and no mustard. Their bread does not contain egg for the allergic folks. Service was super nice and helpful. I'm really bummed we are leaving the city before they open tomorrow. We will definitely be back when we're in the area. We ate outside and it was a little brisk - windy and cold. They have about 7 tables out front, 2 tables and bar like seating along the window inside. Highly recommend!!

A F.

Yelp
Amazing. Roast beef on wheat was enough for 2 of us! The owner is funny as well if you pay attention. "Ya man". Great place. Should be #1 on Yelp.

Harper F.

Yelp
Perfect post-hiking spot! I visited after a long morning of hiking. I ordered the Italian sandwich and it was fantastic! Their sandwiches are huge. I could've split it in half and I would've been just fine. The employees are very friendly. We enjoyed sitting on the outdoor patio. Overall good experience.

Juan Z.

Yelp
PERFECT sandwich , crafted to perfection. AMAZING how this sandwich made my day. This place is behind the main strip and I'm glad it was. We got there right when it opened and had the place to ourselves for a good 15 minutes. I highly recommend eating here after a long early morning in Sedona or a jumpstart to a full day. The sandwiches are huge.

Todd S.

Yelp
Huge sandwich. I can only eat half for lunch and the other half as an afternoon snack. Everything came out super quick and the sub roll was fantastically moist and fresh. Cookie afterwards didn't disappoint either.

Kevin B.

Yelp
We stopped here for some cool sandwiches in the hot stinking weather lol. I enjoyed the Turkey Sandwich here which was huge. My girl wanted the same thing. Nice family size looking restaurant in town. Love the people here and the vibe. Also got some fresh drinks with the sandwiches. Food is huge in portions here. My girl had to take home a doggy bag. So be prepared for big sandwiches .

Tanya G.

Yelp
A local restaurant that only specializes in a few sandwiches and boy are they delicious. Fresh homemade bread. Loads of meat. Once sold out tomorrow is another day. They are open Monday thur Friday. I can't leave out the great music!!

Mario Q.

Yelp
I wish I could give a full review. We went there for lunch at 1:30 and they were already closed. Said they were open until 2p, but not today. Too bad we wanted to grab a sandwich for hike but we had to look elsewhere. Seems like a theme in uptown Sedona. Everything opens late and closes early.

Rose C.

Yelp
Thought I give the local sandwich shop off the main uptown strip a shot! Twice actually! The first time, I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on buttercrust bread. The second time, I had the Italian sandwich. Both times I had the sandwiches to-go to eat on the road. Well... that was an epic fail! The sandwiches were on flimsy styrofoam plates wrapped in plastic bags. You get a very, very generous portion to where the sandwiches were practically falling apart and the styrofoam plates cracking. It is impossible to bite into the sandwich! So what's the point then if you can't get the full taste in one bite? Although the sandwiches were good (from picking the sandwich meat and garnishes apart) they were very difficult and messy to eat, especially in the car. We ended up tossing them out.

Yelp
Pretty good sandwich shop in downtown Sedona. I had the Tuna on the Butter Bread . Very tasty but could have used more tuna. The bread was very good . My wife had the Turkey Sandwich. It had ample Turkey and she loved the seven grain bread. If you order on the phone they give you a free cookie with each sandwich. They didn't have any of their side salad even at 10:30. They don't have a restroom. They have 7 tables out front but gets very dusty from the paved parking lot. Very unassuming hole in the wall with good sandwiches.

Yelp
** November 2021 Visit ** Was looking for a quick lunch spot and found this in my Yelp search engines. Considering the exclusive Monday-Friday schedule and limited hours I figured this was a local favorite so my friend and I drove up the plaza to check them out. The store is cute and quaint. There was several bar type seating inside and several tables with umbrella coverings on the outside. As for the menu offering there were eight sandos ($9.95), and a handful of chips on the side. We each opted for our own sandwich - chicken salad and the Italian just thinking it would be a good simple meal. We informed the owner that we'd sit indoors next to the window, but would go across the street to use the facilities. On our way back we saw probably the biggest sandwiches waiting on individual charcuterie boards at the table. They were massive and I could barely put my hands around it to grasp the sando. Between the two though the Italian was the star sando. It had abundant meat and produce and paired with the fresh made bread by the owner it was an excellent meal. I would gladly support this small mom n' pop shop on my next visit! P.S. Discount on purchases paid in cash

Mac P.

Yelp
The turkey sandwich on their fresh 7 grain was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Just get all the toppings it comes with and don't ask questions. I will be dreaming of this sandwich until I'm back in Sedona! The staff was super nice and friendly too.

Joanna C.

Yelp
Wow, can you say giant sandwiches on freshly baked bread for a great price right near downtown Sedona?!? Found Sedona Memories on Yelp and am super glad we stopped by for a late lunch! Tried the tuna sandwich and the turkey & cranberry one and both were delicious! The bread was so tasty, the ingredients were fresh, and the sandwiches were crazy crazy giant! Yum yum yum! Delicious and great value. We packed up the leftovers which was perfect for our long drive. Would 100% come back!

Karen M.

Yelp
Right as we arrived, at 1 pm, which is an hour before closing, they put up a sign saying "sold out."

GraceAnne P.

Yelp
I begged my husband to try this place out. We drove an hour there just to try it as I am a huge deli sandwich fan and saw this place on Google. We were greeted with the man behind the counter mocking my polite hello. Instantly knew it would be an awful experience. I asked if I could change a few items on my made-to-order sandwich, such as add turkey to the veggie sandwich, or add MUSTARD to a sandwich. He replied in a harsh and rude, "I will only add one thing to a sandwich, but not turkey". Bread and meat were great but really wish the customer service was better. would never go here again.

Ryan G.

Yelp
"Sedona's Best Sandwich". Yeah okay, let's see about that. Spoiler alert- We did see about that, and the sandwich was quite good. Is it the best sandwich I've had in Sedona? 100%. Without a doubt. Is it the only sandwich I've had in Sedona? It might be (it is). In all seriousness, the sandwich was very good. It's one of those piled high, big bread sandwiches that you never really know how to eat without making a complete mess. I decided not to waste time thinking about that and proceeded to eat the sandwich and make a complete mess. No regrets. They have room for about 5 people to eat inside, so that's what we did. The tables were unsurprisingly messy from people before us, can't say I blame them. They only gave us 1 small napkin each. Guess it's a BYON kinda place. We all got the sandwich of the day, unfortunately I forget what was on it. But it was fantastic and enjoyed every bite of it. Everyone was super friendly and the food was definitely fresh. If you're in the area, check this place out. You won't regret it, though your shirt might.

Doreen T.

Yelp
We placed an order over the phone around 11:15am and most of their bread were already sold out! We really wanted to try the butter crust, but instead we got an Italian on a French roll and a chicken salad on whole wheat. They were also sold out of potato salad as well. And yes, these sandwiches are very generous size! My husband and I could had shared but we usually like different flavors of sandwiches! haha I really enjoyed my chicken salad sandwich and I don't think I've ever had one with cream cheese as an ingredient! Yummy! The cashews also gave it a good crunch! My husband's Italian was quite meaty, it came with extra dressing for you to dip in but it was not necessary because it already tasted delicious! Both of us was able to finish the sandwich but the 2nd half had to be open face! haha We were definitely hungry after our hike! I saw an old menu on Yelp that you can get a free cookie if you order over the phone! And sure enough our orders came with two thin, crispy and delicious chocolate chip cookies. My order was ready for pick-up at promised time around 25-30 minutes. The one sandwich worker in the back was telling the front register girl that he's so swamp and that orders will now take up to an hour! They sure get busy here so order early! They did allowed outdoor dining in Dec 2020, however we ate in our car with the beautiful view of the red rocks!

Bobby V.

Yelp
Best Sandwich in the state only has a few choices to Choose from but you won't be disappointed, been going to this place for 30 years Tell Cowboy Bob said Howdy

Maxine P.

Yelp
Great sandwiches on fresh baked bread of your choice. We ordered the turkey sandwich with cranberry, ample amount of turkey, avocado, lettuce, cream cheese and Swiss. Very yummy and sandwich was huge, only ate half of it and took it home for next day.

Kathryn C.

Yelp
If you're going to Sedona ready for some peace and love, don't come to this sandwich place. When my young son with special needs sat on a broken stool and tipped sideways, he was yelled at by the owner for trying to rip him off by breaking his stuff. When I attempted to inform him before we left that the stool was in fact broken and my son was attempting to inform, he then yelled at me and told me that "he calls it like he sees it, and was fine disciplining my kid since he's not getting any from home". My Mama-Bear was activated by his incredulous disrespect. After yelling back and walking out, he sarcastically called out- Peace and Love! Unfortunately, no peace OR love was offered by this sandwich place. Families, look elsewhere.

N C.

Yelp
Incredible little sand place! The sweet counter girl was adorable! The main man in the back makes a mean sandwich!! Thank you for helping us park our Jeep out front!

Michael R.

Yelp
Very god lunch spot if you are in the mood for a sandwich (since that's all they got)! Their menu had about 6-8 sandwiches to choose from and 5 choices for bread. Everything looked so fresh and smelled so good when we walked in. I ordered the Italian on sesame and my boyfriend got the roast beef on sesame. Both were delicious and one of the freshest sandwiches I've had in a long time! Be warned..they are MASSIVE! So if you have kids or people that don't eat a lot in your party I'd recommend splitting one. They also have some baked goods..we saw only cookies when we were there but decided to stay strong and no get any! Maybe next time. The inside was very clean and sanitizing spray was provided to wipe you table and chairs. I definitely understand why this place was rated best sandwich in Sedona and will certainly come back in the future!

Miyoshi H.

Yelp
This is a cute little sandwich shop in Sedona. Their simple menu made it easy to choose sandwiches. We had Italian and Turkey sandwiches. Good food at a very reasonable price. You can enjoy amazing views of the mountains from the outdoor seating areas. Friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Tony T.

Yelp
Fresh and a great value. If you are in Sedona you will come back to Sedona just for Mike's sandwiches.

Anna I.

Yelp
First discovered this gem back in 2017 and we've been talking about it since! Finally after 6 years we are back. BEST SANDWICHES I've ever had. The bread is baked fresh daily and I can eat it by itself it's so good! The portions are very large so one sandwich can easily be split for 2 people. The Italian is also good and a favorite. The owner and staff are super friendly and everything about this place has good vibes. These sandwiches are addicting so you've been warned.

Susan H.

Yelp
Stopped in for a sandwich on a cold snowy Sedona afternoon and was met by Mike. This place has all the charm of Old Sedona- a locally owned business. We were so glad we stopped here!! I ordered the chicken salad sandwich on butter bread and Mike offered to toast it up for me. My hubby had the roast beef. Our sandwiches were chock full of fresh ingredients- and were so big, full of flavor and absolutely delicious!!! Glad we found your special place Mike and we will be back!!! A raving fan!!!

Sophie K.

Yelp
Yum yum yum yum :D I don't know why I've never got to try this place before (sign), their sandwiches are super super yum and the portion is huge. I eat a lot, so the portion is pretty important to me when it comes to food, this place satisfies me in many ways like price, atmosphere, taste, and portion. It was like 8 for a huge sized sandwich, they were very generous about fillings as well, and it comes with a cookie. I'm already in love with this place, would definitely come back!!

Stacey H.

Yelp
Run, don't walk, to Sedona Memories. Memories I tell ya... I feel the need to tell everyone I know that the BEST sandwich I have ever had was from Sedona Memories. First, the sandwich is HUGE. Packed with delicious ingredients, super flavorful, and reasonable priced. The staff are so nice and helpful, and the views of the red rocks while eating this amazingness were superb. I would absolutely go out of my way and drive for hours for this sandwich... Order: - The Turkey- comes with provolone, cream cheese, cranberry, sunflower seeds, and lettuce on deliciously soft bread GO! GO! GO!

Leo G.

Yelp
Great place for grabbing quick sandwich. Excellent bread. And all sandwiches were very good and fresh. They do seem to run out

Beth M.

Yelp
Grabbed sandwiches to eat on the deck of our AirBnB after a morning hike. The sandwiches are definitely unique - chicken salad with cream cheese, avocado, cashews, and lettuce - but it works. If you are less adventurous, they are happy to accommodate. We all had butter crust, it was delicious, but the slices were super thick which made it a little hard to eat. They offer canned/bottled drinks and chips, unfortunately the cookies came out as I was on my way out with my order or we would have tried some for sure. Next time!

Charles H.

Yelp
Outstanding sandwiches that are huge. Homemade bread & fresh ingredients every time. Pro-Tip: If you visit the location with a friend, consider splitting one sandwich, unless of course both of you haven't eaten in a week. Come early because this popular sandwich spot has been known to sell out. Definitely worth a visit.

Ken S.

Yelp
As a local and have had many tantalizing sandwiches here I always look forward to saying hello to Mike the owner as he is busy making each sandwich a piece of art. Love the sitting outside and taking in the beauty of the red rocks and blue skies. I recommend Sedona Memories to all my friends and they have always thank me for referring this jewel. Love the turkey on butter crust bread.

Julia R.

Yelp
Cute little place with indoor and outdoor seating. Incredible sandwiches. The lettuce alone was so fresh and crisp. We loved our Italian, chicken salad, and tuna sandwiches. Their bread is homemade, so fresh and fantastic.

Joanna V.

Yelp
Guyssssssss this place is amazing. Best sandwiches. Best prices. And friendly staff. Go eat here - you won't regret it!

Kaivan G.

Yelp
This was a most amazing experience!!! The owner Mike is truly an awesome guy. Not only was he engaging and friendly (and makes hella tasty sandwiches) but when he heard my husband didn't get to try the turkey bc they ran out, he surprised him with the remaining pieces and made him a small sandwich, free of charge. All so he would be able to try it (we were visiting from NY). That is above and beyond customer service. Plus he wouldn't take any pymt for it. Thanks again Mike. We will definitely be back next time we are in area.

Tammy S.

Yelp
Excellent sandwiches fresh Ingredients friendly staff! Great price for the size of the sandwich Thank you

Vivian P.

Yelp
I can't tell you enough .. how much I enjoyed eating here. The first day I ordered the turkey with cranberry and Italian on honey crust bread and the Italian was my favorite! When checking yelp again, I saw they weren't open on the weekend, so I knew I had to stop by one last time on Friday morning. Before we went to visit Montezuma Castle and Well, I called to order the roast beef on honey crust bread, and when I came in the morning @ 1000 for pickup, they had a hot sandwich as their special... and it was AHHMAZING!!! I can say.. thế sandwiches are soooo delicious and huge!! If you don't have a big appetite, you can more than enough share just a sandwich! But if you have an appetite like my fiancé and I, better to try 2 and split it. Wishing we had these sandwiches in LA, will definitely miss these sandwiches in Sedona. Voted as the best sandwich in town and was highly recommended by our tour guide when visiting Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend. 5/5 stars!

Brian O.

Yelp
We stopped in today after hiking in the morning. This is a small place a couple blocks off the main highway in uptown Sedona. Today the special was beef brisket which had been slow cooking for 24 hours. My wife and I split one sandwich. The establishment thoughtfully split the sandwich into two and brought it on two plates. I simply was astounded at the quantity of meat! The beef was melt in your mouth tender from the slow cooking. There was a generous amount of barbecue sauce which complemented the brisket perfectly; they gave us a little extra on the side to boot! It came on a roll with lettuce, tomato and pickles. But definitely the star of the show was the brisket! Even after splitting we had enough to bring back leftovers to our hotel room! All of this food plus a bag of kettle chips was around $10! That is a bargain anywhere, but especially here in Sedona. Five enthusiastic stars!

Sarah P.

Yelp
Now THIS place is totally worth a stop, I'll break it down for you. - HUGE sandwiches (as big as your head) packed with delicious and some unique flavor combinations. - Super friendly and personable service, - Cute shop in general with a few shaded tables out front. This was the type of place I needed walking through this AZ dessert. It's also off of the main strip by one street, so it doesn't seem as busy or muddled down by the hustle and bustle of tourists. It's delicious and packs a flavor punch. Definitely recommend. Do keep in mind that they do not have a public bathroom, which is the only downfall. 4.8/5

BloodyExpert R.

Yelp
Super delicious sandwiches. They were generous with their portions. Staff was very friendly and it's affordable. We ate outside and enjoyed the pretty views.
