See Through

I do not understand where all these bad reviews are coming from. We had a room on the ground floor, and it was amazing! Really big rooms with a very comfortable 1.60m bed. Bathroom was big and had everything we needed. U can jump into the pool from your room, and the beach is a 1 minute walk. The reception booked our taxi + boat to Koh Tao and was very friendly.

Nice rooms, excellent temperature control, fantastic 30 m pool, right on the beach, excellent staff, good prices. Great beach views and ambiance from the restaurant. The food was fine, but not exceptional. |The rooms are made from concrete, which probably helps with the temperature regulation. But lots of windows, with great view of the pool

The outside of the hotel was amazing. Big spacious and calm pool, nice lounge chairs. The room was not so. The bed was nice and big but the aircon didn’t work properly and there was a big gap underneeth the door where small lizards entered the room. Acces to the beautiful beach but no beds of the hotel. You have to purchase something at the beach bar to sit in the chairs

The hotel is in terrible condition. The furniture is old and run-down, and the bathroom looks like a prison cell. Our room had insects and even lizards because the windows were left open. Upon check-in, only one room key was provided, and the air conditioning shuts off whenever you leave, making the room unbearably hot. The staff was friendly, the bed was clean, and the pool was nice, but that’s about the only positive things I can say. Would not recommend.

Wow what a place, made all the more special by 'Oh' who runs the bar and cooks in the kitchen. Oh practically run this place and made our stay so special and personal. The rooms were gorgeous little huts with hammocks on the veranda and a pool situated opposite. There were eight of us travelling, four couples travelling to celebrate a special 50th Birthday. Rooms were cute, with air con and had a fridge and daily water and coffee delivery. The bar and food was amazing and the sunset was fantastic I highly recommend staying here. Oh arranged our bike hire, taxi to the port and ferry to KohTao when we were leaving nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend and definitely be staying again.

Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We were staying in a room with direct access to the pool. The pool was stretching across 10+ other rooms. If you want to go to the beach it is accessible through the restaurant which is right at the beach. Good music with a cosy atmosphere. Great and tasty Food is served there all day at normal price and you can use your payment card without any extra charges. The resort offers you a taxi (at normal local price) and scooters rental for about 250 bht per day. Convenance store 7/11 and 3x atm are located next door. Getting to the resort taks about 20 min from pier and is 200 bht per person.

The stay at See Through Hotel was truly wonderful, offering excellent value for money. The atmosphere exuded peace and tranquility, and the beach bar not only provided delicious food but also offered an excellent view. A special shout-out to Mint from the reception, whose exceptional English and willingness to go above and beyond in assisting us with taxi and boat bookings made our experience even more memorable. Despite a fully booked boat, she managed to secure a spot for us. The convenience of having a 7/11 nearby was an added bonus. Without a doubt, I would choose to stay here again.

The ladies that work on the front desk are so lovely, all the staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was spotless and cleaned regularly, very good mattress!! |The bar & restaurant is perfect, great food with great staff, a lovely spot to watch the sunset, spend the day in the sun, or both! Only booked for two nights we stayed for 9!! Thank you for a lovely stay it was the highlight of our holiday.
