See Through

I stayed here on my own for 1 week. The proximity to the beach is great. Very close and there is a pool you can swim in outside of the rooms, the issue I had mostly with the hotel was that even though they said no loud noise in the evening there were people on their balconies late at night smoking weed and making a lot of noise and the hotel was not doing much to keep this under control. I spoke to reception and they moved me to a room further away from other guests, but it really did not feel like the policy of no noise overnight was being enforced. This year I’ve chosen to stay near Koh Ma as I want a peaceful stay.

I stayed at this place with my friend last year and had a nice experience, so this time I wanted to show my parents. We parked in their parking space, planning to take a walk at the beach first before entering. Out of nowhere, a Burmese taxi driver started yelling at us that we couldn’t park there. I explained politely that we were just going for a walk first, but he kept yelling aggressively. The whole situation ruined the mood, so I ended up moving my car, parked elsewhere, and we went to Coco Locco instead. Very disappointing experience.

Rooms don't look like in the picture. The sheets are dirty even after they change them. And they are not of quality. Mold and ugly dirty walls. The restaurant on the beach is good. Staff is good.

A really disappointing hotel. Very expensive for what you got. Basically paying through nose to be on a nice beach. Rooms smelt of damp. They only serviced your room every other day. Had to ask for more loo roll. Air con only worked when you were in the room and it was really noisy, dread to think what the filters are like! Everything really in need of a lick off paint and some maintenance. Breakfast was awful, set menu which was really basic. We couldn't eat it one day as it tasted off. Others were leaving their breakfasts too. The staff hardly spoke and not a smile to be seen! We ended up eating and drinking in another hotel 2 doors door as it was a million times better. The bar on the beach was always quiet compared to the others so that tells you all you need to know. Only saving grace was the beach and the 7/11 nearby! Don't give them your money.

Beautiful place to stay with swimming pool to do some laps in the clear water. Unfortunately the staff had to be asked couple time to clean the room (the shower was blocked with hairs from previous visitors). Beautiful sunset on the beach, but not peaceful as all the bars play music very loudly. There’s party every day with loud music and you can hear it in the room. Unless you are planning to party yourself every day I recommend to choose east coast.

We have been taking the place because of a really ig discount in booking. I think the 80% discount was because of the construction during our stay. It looked like they were upgrading the resort. So our room was ok but the price is totally worth it. There is a really long pool with rooms that have access to it. And the stuff is really nice, the room service is really good. It has access to the beach also. The resort has a restaurant on the beach with a beautiful sunset view. Worth it. Don't rent bike from the resort.. or try to get a better price over it.

Nice rooms, excellent temperature control, fantastic 30 m pool, right on the beach, excellent staff, good prices. Great beach views and ambiance from the restaurant. The food was fine, but not exceptional. |The rooms are made from concrete, which probably helps with the temperature regulation. But lots of windows, with great view of the pool

Wow what a place, made all the more special by 'Oh' who runs the bar and cooks in the kitchen. Oh practically run this place and made our stay so special and personal. The rooms were gorgeous little huts with hammocks on the veranda and a pool situated opposite. There were eight of us travelling, four couples travelling to celebrate a special 50th Birthday. Rooms were cute, with air con and had a fridge and daily water and coffee delivery. The bar and food was amazing and the sunset was fantastic I highly recommend staying here. Oh arranged our bike hire, taxi to the port and ferry to KohTao when we were leaving nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend and definitely be staying again.
