Travelled by car for one night with my dog. Nicely renovated modern room with great AC that even has air purifying. Stable and good wifi speeds. One of the cleanest hotels i have ever stayed in. Staff was extremely friendly and provided all the needed information. Beautiful renovated restaurant with nice big windows and great views. Good food. Super breakfast buffet with quality items. Very good coffee machine. Tried the steam sauna (really good one); bio-sauna (55C) was very nice with a big window; Finnish sauna (85C) i think was not really 85C, because there was some wind blowing through gaps in the wooden outdoor building I believe (throwing some water on stones helped, but still felt not hot enough); outdoor warm jacuzzi was really nice in the cold evening with the fantastic evening views of the mountains. Would definitely recommend for others and will most likely return there again when I need small retreat myself. Very good price deal for the stay. Great place for dogs as it is situation right next to a Wanderweg, which you can take and walk as much as you desire and you get fantastic views of the lake and mountains and enjoy how quiet it is.

This was a perfect winter weekend getaway! The views were amazing, the staff was friendly and the spa area was great to relax after a day of hiking. The hotel must be reached with a bus that goes every 30 minutes, which makes it a bit less accesible than other comparable hotels in the area but the price quality is really good so I highly recommend it.

These people don't know hospitality. Their team should visit India's hotels to learn what hospitality is all about. The only one thing good about the hotel was the location overlooking the lake. The F&B sucks so bad and the staff don't know how to treat guests. The restaurant was dead and the breakfast was pathetic and felt like I was in a poor third world country..While we paid for breakfast inclusive price, however, not even a single day di we go for breakfast after seeing what the place had to offer for breakfast. We were given a room that had dog hair on the floor and even left over pedigree dog food lying around. Although on pointing out, they upgraded us to the suite which was nice. Would certainly not recommend this place.

This is a great place to stay for a couple of days, relax, unwind and enjoy the scenery around. Service is really nice and welcoming. Breakfast buffet is good enough, there are fine options available to choose from. Rooms are a bit old fashioned (except bathroom - it is very good). Outdoor pool and jacuzzi are available till 21:00.

Highly recommend, quite area, less than 1 hour to Lucerne. Friendly staff, dining area is great, view from my room was absolutely beautiful.

We stayed two nights as we relocated from the Jungfrau region back towards Zurich. The wellness spa alone makes it totally worth it to stay a couple nights, grab a complimentary shuttle to the ferry, and day trip to Zurich. Very nice kitchen also, recommend the veal scnitzel.

A hidden gem! If you are looking for tranquility and serenity don’t skip this hotel. Such a nice location with a free access to the center with a shuttle car. Breakfast was delicious and varied. View is stunning and people are very friendly.

Booked the hotel with high hopes and took the bus out - disappointed. There is no lake access; it got sold apparently. There is just one small hot tub and sauna, the “hot” tub is not hot but lukewarm. All facilities are overcrowded. Wish we had more positive things to say.
