A cozy restaurant to enjoy great sushi! I’ve eaten here for a few times and sushi is always fresh and delicious. It takes sometime for the food to be served but totally worth it. The owner even gave us a small snack while waiting.

Fujiyama has become our only sushi spot! We found out about this Hidden Gem from a friend of our while brainstorming date night venues. The employee was very knowledgeable about the menu items. We were allowed to customize our Sushi, Thank you chef. We highly recommend this spot if your in the downtown Halifax area.

Wonderful little place!! Really really good sushi, excellent service and efficient and friendly service. We had a really cozy semi private room where we were seated and were looked after very well by our waiter and hostess. By far one of the best sushi places in Halifax and a must visit if you're visiting. Also very well priced !

It's safe to say that we fell in love with every aspect of this remarkable establishment.

6 of us had such a great experience here! The service was so patient and kind and their Vietnamese iced coffee and spicy salmon roll are my FAVOURITE. They gave us a free treat! They’ve been my favourite sushi place for so long. We got the love boat for two and the spicy beef noodles. Beautiful!

A standout feature was the availability of Vietnamese-style phin coffee, which added an extra touch of authenticity. Despite its small size, Fujiyama Restaurant exuded a cozy and sophisticated ambiance. The intimate setting made for a pleasant and comfortable dining experience. The attentive and courteous staff further enhanced the overall atmosphere. Given our positive experience, my wife and I are eager to return to Fujiyama Restaurant for more Vietnamese culinary delights on weekends. It has become our go-to place for savoring authentic Vietnamese dishes.

Found this restaurant while wandering around the city. Staff is super friendly. Must try tempura cheesecake and Fuji lobster roll (if my memory recalls it correctly). If u’re a fan of eal (like me), should try gray roll and eal salad. Hokkigai is fresh, juicy and yummy. No pic for tempura cheesecake that I can’t wait to bite it 😂😂😂😂
