Seehof Hotel Du Lac / Restaurant Weggis

For the location, i will give a 5. The lady receptionist was not that cool with normal queries. Got a bit rude reply from her when we asked about keeping the luggage after checking out. But still..the hotel atmosphere is amazing. Added there is a girl at the hotel inside who is very cheerful and makes everyone energetic, so sorry that i didnt get her name. Room service and cleaning is good too. The breakfast is very minimal, could be a bit more better.

We had a team retreat in Weggis and stayed at the Hotel Seehof de Lac for a week. The staff was wonderful. They were very helpful and extremely friendly. The rooms are very cozy and with incredible view to the lake. The food was also delicious. Thank you to all the staff there for making our stay unforgettable.

Fantastic location of the terrace directly nearby the lake. Service was attentive and initially fast, but slowed down when more guests arrived. The weekday menu from 12:00-14:00 is quite reasonable for such top location. The food was delicious, but nothing particularly special.

Our stay at the Seehof was pleasant but way overpriced - even for Switzerland. |We arrived for checkin at the right time but were told we would have to wait at least an hour as they were short staffed. We were given a voucher to spend while we waited but we couldn’t even have a coffee each without paying extra. |The restaurant supervisor (young lady with long blonde hair) had a serious “attitude” issue & was completely uninterested when we spoke to her during our stay.|The terrace at the front of the hotel had a lovely view of the lake but there wasn’t anywhere comfortable to sit other than in the restaurant area.

Highly recommend this hotel. The folks at this hotel are very welcoming and super friendly. Always pleasant and helpful. The location is amazing. Right by the lake. Id recommend getting the junior suite with baloney and you will have the best view in your life The commuter boat station is right next to the hotel so you can get to Lucerne by boat very easily. The restaurant at the hotel is also very good. Overall, this was a perfect stay for us.

Visited from India with family on our Europe trip in Nov 2024...the rooms were neat with a very cozy ambience. The lakeside location of the hotel offered the most incredible views, and the locals were all friendly. The breakfast buffet was a sumptious spread! Great connectivity by boat from Weggis(check times and boat pricing beforehand). Thank you Hotel Seehof Du Lac and staff for an amazing stay!

We had a company retreat for a whole week. It was very well organized. The service was really good, food amazing. Location is simply stunning, with one of the nicest views of the lake of luzern, pilatus and the alps surrounding the lake. Hotel is right next to the bus stop, and 5 minutes away walking from the port.

Hotel is located in a beautiful town, great views of the lake and mountains pilatus. The rooms are a bit small with low ceilings due to its historic nature. Bery clean and has sufficient amenities. Breakfast is fantastic. Parking is limited.

The most breathtaking peaceful Hotel. It has the feels of a very charming Inn. If you love Gilmore Girls Show as much as I do it would remind you of Lorelai's Dragonfly Inn. The views surrounding this enchanting hotel is so beautiful. I was here while pregnant and my stay couldn't have gotten any better. The staff was amazing so helpful & kind. I definitely recommend this hotel. Not knowing that the kitchen was closed, I had a pregnancy craving of chocolate swiss ice cream and they were so kind as to fix me a few scoops. This hotel is right on the lake and surrounded by many restaurants.

Such a tranquil place with a stunning lake view. We enjoyed a few draft beers at the port side patio and had an unforgettable afternoon by the lake.
