Seehotel Enzian

The location, the views, facilities, the staff and the food were exceptional! We stayed in a balcony room with a view on the water. The room was a great size, had all we needed, and was spotless. The hotel also has a very nice spa area, that we ended up not using. They have rowing boats and bikes available to guests for use.

The appartement was cosy, clean, and comfortable. Furniture made from wood - made to measure. 2 double rooms, 1 extra bed, small kitchen, small bathroom, living room, sitting room - just for the 2 of us. The hotel was full, so we stayed at the Landhaus Sonneck, 3-5 minutes on foot from the main hotel. View to the lake. Half board. The food was extremely delicious (I was positively surprised I did not put on weight). The staff friendly. The weather extremely good for this time of the year. Got brown. An enjoyable and relaxing weekend.||You get what you pay.||The hotel has a sauna right on the lake. We did not use it - due to the beautiful weather. In winter this wellness offer must be a very good additional option to the iceskating.||Internet in the hotel lobby.||Bicycles, boats - free for use.

We spent 4 nights with half-board at the Enzian. Great views to the Weissensee, friendly and professional staff - hotel owners always present and helpful. Their sauna is just across the road with access and great views to the lake. Cuisine is Austrian with an international touch. After dinner a cosy bar invites with an open fire. This hotel is highly recommended during all seasons. Can't wait to return.

We have been coming to the Seehotel Enzian for the past ten years, always spending the New Years holiday in this most beautiful of locations. Everything about this property, from the warm and attentive service to the wonderful food is outstanding. This is a five star property in all respects but the service is delivered in a warm and understated way. What also makes this family run inn special is the attention to detail when it comes to the rooms, the public spaces and the service. If you are looking for a magical vacation in the Austrian Alps look no further. As a ten time visitor to this paradise on earth, I can recommend it without reservations. |

What a lovely hotel. From the moment we checked in and were greeted so friendly by Marion and Christine our stay was totally enjoyable from the first class meals to our lovely room we had booked the Sky Moon Suite which looked over the deep green lake. Would recommend taking theboat ride on the lake it was one of the most beautiful and peaceful lakes we have ever been on. also. Would recommend the chairlift up the mountain. You can take a 20 minute wa lk through the forest to a delightful restaurant where we had the best strudel or you can take the easy path which is only 10 minutes. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel. You would not be disappointed by the wonderful service Mrs. Cieslor, Christine, Marion and all staff provide. We stayed end September and the weather was perfect.

Weissensee is a wonderful destination to enjoy all the fun that winter has to offer and the Enzian Hotel is as close as it gets to perfection. The hotel is situated right on the lake and is a hotel with authentic Austrian character combined with modern rooms. Our suite was about 20 meters from the lake - with beautiful sliding glass doors to maximise the view. There was a large master bedroom with a huge kingsized bed and luxury bathroom. Our son had his own bedroom with bunkbeds and there was a living room with a modern design kitchen. The atmosphere is modern and chic and the view was of the frozen lake and the ski hill on the other side of the lake. The food and wine was excellent and the family running the hotel were friendly and helpful. In our 5 days there we went cross-country skiing, down-hill skiing and skating on the lake. And every evening we relaxed in the sauna situation right on the lake - even jumping into the lake where the ice had been cleared and then read for an hour or so on the lounge chairs in front of floor to ceiling glass windows watching the sun set behind the mountains. It was a peaceful and luxurious holiday and one which I hope to do again.

We stayed at the hotel´s apartment house close by. Very spacious, clean, and extremely well equipped. What we loved most was the combination of the spacious place and all the amenities of the hotel (spa, access to the lake, and excellent dinners). Owners and staff were lovely and great with our children.

The hotel is along the lake, the main house is separated from the lake by a small road but the lake house that is part of the hotel has direct access. An amazing jewel in the Austrian Alps, clean comfortable rooms, exquisit service, all kinds of leisure activities and a perfect place to disconnect.
