Seehotel Töpferhaus

Spent two days at a team event for work. Beautifully located on the Bistensee. Buildings looked a bit old-fashioned from the outside, but were very nicely furnished and decorated inside. Didn't use the amenities like sauna or yoga classes as we were on a business trip. Meeting rooms, restaurant and private rooms were modern and immaculate. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Food was exceptional. Would definitely consider returning privately

I booked the hotel for 1 night but we changed our plans within 30 minutes and requested 1 day earlier. they were fully booked but would not refund the any of the charge which had been taken in full. Don’t select the room plus breakfast because this changes the booking to non refundable

We’ve been here three times and have absolutely loved it each time. We visit family in Denmark about once a year and we discovered this place about four years ago when we took a ride down to Germany. The nature and surroundings are so beautiful and away from the crowds. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, perfect in every way. The food is delicious as well! I enjoyed watching the swans on the lake in the morning, and walking in the forest. This is truly a hidden gem!

This has got to be one the worst ever experiences in any hotel we’ve ever been in. The hotel staff/owners had the arrogance and negligence to host us while they were hosting a wedding party (!), andnever telling us about this little detail in advance - we would have never chosen this place if we would have been told what’s going to happen, of course. ||Instead of being able to rest and fall asleep we had to endure the endless noises people make when they get more drunk, loud night piercing awful dance music which you can only enjoy when you’re beyond drunk, and all of this deep into the night. ||So much about hoping for a restful night in a hotel near the lake. Never ever would we return and I ask any future guest to exercise extreme caution while booking this place - you won’t know what you might be getting into. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Stay away.

Really nice! Beautiful setting in the countryside overlooking the lake. Many outdoor activities and areas to chill. Rooms are very cozy and clean. Service was great and the food was phenomenal.

Spent one night in the hotel for a wedding. Everything was beautiful. The room was nice and comfy. Would have appreciated some toiletries and slippers. Good breakfast and nice environment inside and out. I would also like to have someone to help with the luggage and ahow you where your room is.

Beautiful place! Located next to a wonderful lake this house is perfect to relax and enjoy nature. The rooms are spacious and nice. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've seen. It offered a huge variety in excellent quality, and also the staff was very friendly and helpful. Best was the Sauna which offered a stunning view. It was a huge barrel Sauna which allowed you to dive into the lake after being warmed up. The only downside was, that it wasn't clear if you should use it with or without swimwear. The stay was pricey but worth it.

Excellent and beautiful location, just on a lake with the possibility of swimming. Large parking, great park with beach volley. The people working there were very kind, the breakfast was good (could improve a bit) but in general very satisfactory, and the room was clean and modern with a great shower. In general I would really recommend it.
