What a little charmer of a hotel! ||Perfectly positioned to sit back and watch the shops cone into port from the terrace. ||It’s beautifully decorated, the staff are genuinely helpful, parking was a breeze and the breakfast offerings were great. ||The only thing I wasn’t impressed with was my burger from the terrace restaurant - but it was still a lovely experience and I would recommend to anyone travelling to Ancona.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! They were very friendly and helpful. We also had dinner at Ginevra restaurant, located in its terrace, and the experience was fantastic! It had a beautiful view of Ancona’s port.

Chose this hotel as a stop over. OMG, what a lovely place. Half way up a hill surrounded by trees with a fantastic view of the port. Lucy at reception gets 5 stars for amazing service. Room was smaller than expected but had everything I needed. View to die for. Also amazing breakfast. I got so excited by the nut and seed selection. Highly recommend.

We did not try the rooms, instead I tried the aperitivo bar which has a nice view (it’s not the rooftop), and that was the only nice thing I experinced at that place. The barman was sour as hell, the drink was bad, and the food was old. Chips/crisps were soggy, and the other things too. Price for an aperitivo is €10/person.

I would have given this place a mid-range, positive review for the room and view, but the experience at departure left us with a very negative impression. At check-out around 11 a.m., there was only one receptionist working, while two other “staff members” were hanging around without appearing to do much. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I shrugged and gestured to my wife to express that the situation wasn’t acceptable. At that point, one of the idle staff members — a young, tattooed man who didn’t come across as particularly friendly — approached me in an aggressive manner and asked, “perché hai fatto così?” (“Why did you do like that?”), referring to my gesture.||We are Italian/Italian-speaking, and I found his tone and the use of informal language (second person instead of the more respectful third person) highly inappropriate, especially given the age difference — we are a couple in our mid to late 50s. I responded by asking how he permitted himself to speak to guests that way, and why he was using the second person with customers, which in Italian is very disrespectful — especially from someone so young addressing people who could have been his parents. It felt confrontational and rude. For a moment, I was concerned he might escalate the situation physically, though he ultimately walked away after my reply.||What made the situation worse was that the receptionist standing next to him didn’t step in or attempt to defuse the situation, nor did she offer any apology for the unprofessional conduct. It left a very bad impression of the staff.||Note: The breakfast staff, in contrast, were very polite.

Really wonderful little hotel in Ancona. Super design, nice friendly welcome, wonderful food, great view over the port from the restaurant terrace, very easy to walk into town. Top notch!

Best location if you are coming by car, or else it's a long walk with steps so book it if you are only coming by car. The main bus stop is 8 min away so not that far. I also find the hotel staff bit racist towards Indians.

A Perfect Stay at the SeePort Hotel in Ancona I had the pleasure of staying at the SeePort Hotel during a recent visit to Ancona, and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was exceptional. Every employee we encountered went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. A special mention goes to Marie at the reception desk, whose warm and professional demeanor made a lasting impression. She was incredibly helpful, attentive, and always greeted us with a smile. The restaurant at the SeePort Hotel is nothing short of exquisite. Each dish was a work of art, with presentation that rivaled the best fine dining experiences we’ve had. The flavors were just as spectacular as the visuals, and the service was flawless—prompt, courteous, and unobtrusive. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, offering breathtaking views overlooking the town and harbor. While the rooms are on the smaller side, they are comfortable and thoughtfully designed. The charm of the hotel, its perfect location, and the superior service more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines exceptional service, outstanding dining, and stunning views in the heart of Ancona, the SeePort Hotel is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to return!
