I received a gift card so it was my first time visiting a sees candy store in person other than online or at the airport. I just moved around the corner so it’s very convenient and I love that they have a parking lot. The woman who helped me was so knowledge About each chocolate and everything that was in the store on top of that, she was super friendly. She made the shopping experience nice I think I’ll go in person from now on rather than ordering online. Lori

Love this place. Great mexican coffee, breakfast burritos and desserts, but also so much more than you'd expect. The chefs nail classic American diner food for breakfast and some surprisingly interesting lunch/dinner options. Nondescript spot that's worth a visit.

I went Monday to get Easter Candy to this location because the Westside Pavilion location is permanently closed. I was overjoyed to find working there Jose, a former WSP See's employee. This store is so ample, nice and bright, which seems such a fit for Jose. Jose is so attentive and always greets people with a smile and for someone so young very professional. He has always made my experiences at See's good ones. I must also say that Gloria and Evyn are also awesome and seem to work great as a team. I really love this location as everyone is so attentive, but Jose would make a nice addition.

See's is the best. Delicious chocolates concocted on the west coast, with one factory on La Cienega in LA. If you want to be tempted, hang out near the factory when they're cooking! You can pay less for candy and you can pay more, but the value and quality here are unmatched!

Had a bad craving for sweets the other night, so decided to bite the bullet and order delivery - chose the peanut butter pie fudge, birthday cake fudge, and milk chocolate peanut butter cup. I was happy with all my choices.

Stopped by to get some treats for a friend who is diabetic. This See's branch had the widest and best selection of sugar free pops, lollipops peanuts brittle, chocolate covered nuts. I bought one of each. The staff are always really nice!! And my friends is so happy!! Of course the sales person tempted me with the sample of the day. To me it's the happiest and yummiest place on earth.

Walking into this See's feels like a nostalgic trip, like I'm a child again surrounded by wall to wall chocolates. It's a huge location that doesn't need all that space to be honest but it's so pristine and organized like all See's with helpful employees. Their chocolate, lollipops and candy are made of high quality ingredients that you can taste. When I buy a pound of chocolate, usually as a gift, I self select the pieces instead of a prepackaged box. Truffles are a must for myself, along with Milk Chocolate California Brittle and Dark Chocolate Marzipan. All of the chocolate is worth the price. My go to place for chocolate indulgence! Easy parking right off 405 freeway, more reason to come!

Whenever I'm having a rainy or bad day, See's Candies is my go-to spot for a sweet pick-me-up. And it never disappoints! This location in Los Angeles is clean, well-organized, and the service is top-notch. My favorite treats to get are the milk and dark chocolate almond clusters and the milk bourdeaux - they are simply delicious and always hit the spot. The chocolate is rich and creamy, and the nuts add just the right amount of crunch and texture. And I love that I can mix and match my favorites in a box. But it's not just the treats that keep me coming back - the staff is always friendly and helpful, and they always make sure that my experience is a great one. I went to my favorite candy store - See's - about a year and a half ago and felt accosted by an older employee's attitude. I thought she was uncomfortable with me being in the store. I said to her "why do I feel like you are rushing to get me out the store?" I thought it might be a 'race thing' so I vowed never to return to that store. She's still there, btw. Luckily, a year later, I drove by figuring she would not be there anymore, and to my delight I met a great clerk named Gloria, who was professionally polite and focused. I've since been tended to by Wendy and the younger Caucasian woman, both of whom were really pleasant. I am in that Palms store location at least twice weekly now: thanks to Gloria. Employees like Gloria and Wendy are worth ten times what their employers are willing to pay them.

I was in need of last minute gifts for my family in Mexico who are addicted to See's Candies. I rushed to this store right after work and arrived just before closing. Many employees groan at the sight of someone coming in right before the store closes, but not Gloria L! She was very welcoming and greeted me very warmly. She even came out with a sample instead of waiting for me to get to the counter! Gloria was very upbeat, helpful, and patient as I picked out gifts for my 12 nieces and nephews. This is going to sound cheesy but ... Gloria's sweetness made the sweets at See's even sweeter! Thanks Gloria! And kudos to See's for not only having stellar chocolate but for also hiring a rockstar!

If you want to see a smiling face welcoming you to See's candy, then you've heard the charming voice of Gloria Lopez. She reminds me of the younger me working as a counter girl and serving my customers with a happy heart. Gloria even remembered my favorite candy. Even though she's young, she's truly professional and lets you triple enjoy your favorite candy. Thank you so much Gloria for always smiling and being so truly personable.

Always excellent service. I know why they give you a sample. Once you get one and your done. So when your looking at the candy boxes a lady from the counter offers you a sample. Then you end up spending 65 dollars. Lol I love you rum nougat. You are the best! Then right before your handed your bag they throw in more samples. To keep you addicted! Like a crack head. Lol

Service is always great here. They had run out of a few things but it was close to Valentine's Day. They let us try a sample from the display. I loved the peanut butter hearts. Can't wait for the Irish creme truffles coming soon.

This is a relatively-new location (about 2 years old). The place is huge and spacious. When walking in, sometimes you feel like you are on a stage and, sometimes, you feel like you walked into a hospital. The latter because the place is all white and because of the lady-staff's uniform. Their uniform is like the uniforms of nurses in the olden days. Also, there are times that the spaciousness gives you a feel of luxury. Service is good. Lots of parking too. This is in the shopping center at the corner of Sepulveda & National. Other stores there are Vons, CVS, Pollo Loco & Starbucks.

I don't know if it's a Taiwanese thing, but it seems like everyone brings these box of see's candies as gifts, after the long exodus and flights. Taiwanese relatives just loooove See's Candies and that's always their request in terms of American gifts. I honestly haven't had See's in years but used to eat them all the time growing up. I recently went in to buy boxes as gifts and the associates there were very helpful. They were also kind enough to offer me samples while I was waiting in line, and they apologized for the wait. I particularly love the milk chocolate balls and their cream filled chocolates! I'll definitely be back for a sweet treat for myself, and also these boxes of chocolates make great gifts for people in general!

The center has homeless living in their cars. Homeless in the stores and people asking for money outside the stores. It is not safe in the parking lot. Stay away until the owners and stores decide to protect customers

Typical sees candy experience . Minus a star because the ladies working were not that friendly or helpful . I wanted to pick out a few pieces of candy from behind the glass and even though no one else was in the store , I felt rushed by the woman working to make a choice or got a feeling she was annoyed because I was taking my time to select the pieces I wanted .

Great service. They were very patient as they explained all the options. They gave me a sample when I walked in and it was delicious calmed my concern if it was worth the money and it was.

These are some challenging times. We're deep into a seemingly endless pandemic with Omicron on the rise & a bunch of other scary things happening.  A bright spot in my day is See's Candy! It makes me happy and I purchase so much candy (I mean hundreds of dollars worth practically every visit) for my business clients because it makes them Very happy too..  I was referred several years ago to the bulk discount See's locations for additional savings. Since my clients love receiving See's Candies and it makes them happy, and me happy, a win-win situation..right? Unfortunately, this location and the bad attitudes of many of the employees that work there, do not make me happy. Ever since this location opened;  the manager is one of the most unpleasant See's employees I've ever come across. I was going to originally post this review several months ago, but I decided to contact someone in their corporate office in Southern California, who is a true delight. She assured me she would address the problem with the bad attitude of this particular location manager and for the most part I thought it was handled. But my experience this past Saturday evening has compounded the issue, and I see that just a few hours before my unpleasant encounter...someone else had a similar experience that same day. Look at the recent reviews. It's not just me and the other person who left a review yesterday. There's an obvious huge problem with management and people under that manager. This past Saturday evening, 2 particular employees were very rude and condescending as the manager who acts like a drill sergeant was lurking and pacing in the background. I have never experienced the kind of behavior that I did this evening from any See's employee. When I walked out feeling very upset and frustrated... I walked right back in and asked for a full refund. The manager did not handle the return but was lurking (again) in the background looking on. The manager did not ask me at all what the problem was or stepped in to offer any apologies. Why would she...her harsh attitude is reflected on the people she has under her management.  Most See's employees are pleasant and helpful like the employees at the See's on La Cienega. The four-star rating on Yelp is based on reviews from five and six years ago. Again please look at the recent reviews. I will take time out of my busy day during these stressful times to drive all the way south to the Torrance bulk discount location for my peace of mind. I will Never again sacrifice that oh so 'happy See's feeling' and avoid this Sepulveda & National location that does not value customers of all cultures & backgrounds and makes you feel 'punished' for your patronage.

You know the chocolate is good when customers are waiting outside the store for the police to drop their rifles so that we could go in and purchase our chocolate. That's what happened today. I had to wait in my car and so did another woman. She said she had driven from the valley to get this candy. These are my 5 reasons for 5 stars... See's pecan bar ... See's 4 lb. Boxes ... See's Scotchkisses ... See's seasonal candy ... See's super Service When I first drove by See's today, I figured I wouldn't stop by. Big mistake because an hour later the cops were out front. The parking lot is conveniently located out front. As I jumped out of my car, a couple walked by and said I wouldn't go by there right now if I were you. For some reason, five cops were surrounding this man who looked homeless and one cop had a rifle drawn. I sat back down in my car and watched the officers from my vehicle. As they moved closer to the man and away from the See's Candy door, I made a run for it. Wait, this review is about See's chocolate and not the officers out front. This store is bright and clean like you would expect. What I didn't expect to see inside was a lady shaking like a leaf because of the officers. She was taking her own sweet time because she was too afraid to go outside. I felt like pushing her out. jk The See's employee was über friendly and patient with the shooken up lady. the lady behind the counter even threw in a couple free samples of the orangesicle and strawberry lollipops Apple since I was waiting so long so I got Free Chocolate and free lollipop samples. Yum! Free See's Chocolate ... Is something no one can resist. NO ONE!

Probably my all time favorite chocolates, since it reminds me of my dad. My dad was a Gardner who would come home during Christmas time with boxes and boxes of chocolate from his customers. Now 45 years later, there isn't a time where I wouldn't stop by the stores in the mall and now this store particularly because it's right across the street from my favorite Ross store, and next to my Bank. So, once I go to the ATM, 10% off my cash goes to See's and my ass. Lately, with the corona virus it was my anxiety chocolate. Boy... did it help, I was in here twice a week, 1- to se if Vons has toilet paper and than for my chocolate. Now that they are closed, I got to settle for the grocery store chocolate. I can't wait till they re-open, I'll be the first one in line. #scotchmellows rules!!!

It's a stand alone See's. You might not care about that but I do. We went to buy some holiday candy for the office women at work and didn't want to deal with mall shoppers. They have a parking lot minus the mall. Perfect. The woman who helped us was cool and helpful. She gave samples, provided recommendations, and got us right. We even ended up making a box for ourselves. For a See's to be efficient and still be helpful, it takes special service and people. This is exactly what we received and our candy-buying experience went well. This is a new location that they stick well. You can move around, it's big enough to stop and read signs and packages without being in somebody's way-- A big plus. Final Word: I'll be back here next holiday season.

I love See's Candies but haven't been there in a while I was shocked to see how much the prices have gone up--but this review is about the customer service. The associate who rang up my purchases today was extremely rude. She spoke in a loud, abrasive voice. When I asked for clarification that my gift card had a balance, she rolled her eyes in disgust because she had to repeat herself. When I mentioned I hadn't yet received a sample (after spending $150), she pursed her lips and appeared angry, perhaps because she had to walk a few steps to retrieve my sample choice (she ended up asking another associate to bring it to her). Today's associate isn't the only rude associate at this See's location. Another associate (who I saw but purposefully avoided) is also quite rude. She never smiles and always seems bothered and put-upon. Both associates never thank the customer for their purchase or for coming in to the store. As there are many See's locations I wish I could have gone to the See's near my workplace--unfortunately, this See's on Sepulveda shares the same parking lot as my pharmacy. Would I rather spend more gasoline and time driving to the Century City See's with (perhaps) nicer associates? Or combine my errands by driving to one location to save gas and time ? I'm beginning to think spending time and the money on gas is preferable than having to interact with the unkind, rude See's associates at the Sepulveda store.

I forgot this location was here. I only remember See's being at the malls. This store is pretty big so if it gets crowded it's not annoying. Customer service is great. I got a free choco from them when we walked in. Yum! Came here around Xmas time and staff was so nice. I should get See's more as a gift. A lot of parking in this strip mall. I think there is one other stand alone location near Jefferson and La Cienega's Target.

I love See's but good heavens, the person working the counter right before Fathers Day made so many mistakes in my order! They messed up at least one-half the candies in my one-pound custom mix. While there's nothing wrong with coconut and maple walnut, it is nevertheless disappointing to bite into something you thought was chocolate truffle and need up with something very different. I've never had this happen before, and I've been going to See's for 45 years. See's needs to either hire better people -- or do better training.

Still made a purchase but I didn't get the full customer experience that sees candies offers to their clients. Will their be a next time? We will have to wait and see...

I walked into See's candy store, on Sepulveda and National, yesterday after work. There was a masked employee standing near the door when I entered the store. She walked towards me, but did not speak or welcome me. Right after I passed her, I heard her greeting someone behind me, so I looked back and entering the store was a white woman. So I looked at the greeter and said I guess I'm invisible. She made sure not to give me any eye contact. I will not be shopping there anymore. The store was nice and neat.

I don't generally leave reviews on retail shops, but I received such good service here yesterday that not only am I leaving this review, but I also called the See's customer service line to compliment them on this store. It's Thanksgiving week so it was understandably busy here after work and everyone was customizing boxes. No one had to wait longer than a couple minutes before more gals from the back came up front to assist. They operate a well-oiled machine at this store and they all had such good attitudes. The main reason I'm writing this is because of the service I received from Gloria. The store was out of Thanksgiving gift wrapped boxes so she helped me customize the perfect box of chocolates and incorporated a couple beautiful pumpkin truffles and made sure everything was symmetrical and perfect. Then, she put a little chocolate turkey on top of the box and wrapped It all with cellophane and a perfect bow. It came out great and she was so sweet and professional. I'm a perfectionist and she nailed it. By far the best See's location I've been to - bar is set high.

This See's Candies is a great. Parking is very easy to find and their set up is so open and welcoming. The staff gives you a sample of chocolate as you walk in or as your finish up your order - this always makes me want to come back just to get more because their chocolate is so good! They never disappoint! Try the Chocolate Mallow, the honey marshmallow paired with caramel and chocolate is so perfect! They made our Valentine's Day that much more special.

What a delightful store! The customer service is outstanding. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and patient. I've never been to this location but decided to go in tonight after receiving a gift certificate: As you stand in line, the staff go around and hand out free samples to try. You can have more than one as well. Once it was my turn to pay, I requested a sample of the butterscotch first, which they were out of. One of the staff apologized and promptly went to the back to restock the butterscotch and made sure I got my fix. I will definitely be returning. It was such a great experience!!Kuddos to the management and staff for making this place awesome.

The most friendly staff I've ever met. And most convenient location too. This branch feels like they have more variety of chocolates, not too mention discounts on selected items. This branch will be my go-to shop now.

I love this location the staff is very friendly and polite. This Sees candy is not as busy as the other ones.

There are only 2 employees working at this store. Unfortunately I had an unpleasant experience. The employees were unhelpful, made no attempt to offer assistance even after I requested it, they stood around hovering, staring at me, monitoring my moves, and did not take me seriously as a customer. Although I did make a purchase today, I will not be returning to this place in the future. I always thought retail staff were required to be cheery, friendly and strive for customer satisfaction. I definitely did not feel this here.

See's candy !! The best! I brought some back east to my relatives and they all got so excited! And rightfully so this stuff is the bomb! Every time anyone goes into a store they get a free piece of candy!! Love see's !!!

See's Stores are always clean and well stocked. One of the biggest manufactures of fine chocolates. You will pay more for chocolates but worth it. However it would be nice if See's would price special packages for holidays. You never can go wrong giving this fine chocolate as a gift.

I love See's Candies don't get me wrong but I have to share that today I went to the grand opening this morning, very excited I even told my sister to come I found out about through the Facebook page. ...well It was really nice to see See's head people there naming off all the important people and I'd be able to say more but I was so dam distracted by their photographer they hired to take photos stepping on our feet and pushing us customers/supporter. SHE WAS SO RUDE!!!! I said excuse me your pushing and stepping on our feet and she says " this is my job I have to take pics" and continued to push and step on others toes..hopefully she got some great pictures because she irritated the mess out of me. To conclude once inside all the staff were really nice and offered lots of chocolates to try all in all don't ever use that photographer she's like a chicken with her head cut off from with a camera. *Side note I seriously doubt her picture will be that good

I can't tell you how easy it is to do business with this See's location. Gloria L. is an absolute pleasure to work with and goes out of her way to make sure customers leave happy. To receive such a high level of customer service was an unexpected treat on top of the already delicious sample offered. Corporate, if you are reading, promote your superstar!

I love See's Candies and today I brought some candies from this store and it was good but the lady behind the counter gave me the sampler candies as I walk in the store I told the lady that I didn't like ones in the box so got one behind counter it was milk chocolate but it was caramel and don't like carmel at all so next time I will point out the free sampler candies to lady behind counter and this was less to learn

See's is the best chocolate in the world. This new location is bright, clean and spacious. Thank god the corporate gods saw the need for a store in this area--never take it away!
