See’s Candies – Salted Caramel Heaven! If you’re looking for a chocolate that puts a smile on your face with every bite, See’s Candies Salted Caramel is it! A soft, buttery caramel wrapped in rich, aromatic dark chocolate, topped with a delicate sprinkle of sea salt… this sweet-and-salty harmony creates a heavenly flavor you’ll never forget. Freshness and top-notch quality, elegant packaging, and the warm, friendly staff make every visit a pleasure. Try it once, and I’m sure you’ll fall in love just like I did! ✨

I don’t usually write reviews like this, but oh my god—I had the BEST experience at today. The lady who helped me, Oriana, was absolutely wonderful. She was so kind, so sweet, and radiated such positive energy that just talking to her completely lifted my spirits. I honestly can’t remember the last time someone made such a genuine impact on my day just through kindness. She was lovely in a way that’s rare to come across, and I just wanted to say thank you—she truly made my day.

I’m never at the century city mall and I stumbled across a See’s, so of course I decided to go in. The salesperson appeared to be alone on the floor and I think I fell in love with her. Candace was so nice and friendly to every single person that walked in. She helped make my day

They have the best chocolate, everything taste good.

I walked in around noon midweek, and I was not greeted or spoken to the whole time I walked around the store. There were two employees that I saw, and one customer. They have a lot to choose from but no customer service.

Google
What a wonderful experience. Staff was really friendly (two ladies), offering samples and helping us choose from the vast assortment of candies and chocolates. On par with shops in France and Belgium we’ve been to.

Google
Love Sees chocolates. They have a great selection of white, milk and dark chocolates in creams, nuts and caramel fillings. Really nice flavors and one can purchase just a few or a lot in a box or in a bag. No need to break the bank.

Google
Have enjoyed See's candies for many decades and their quality and consistency and most importantly taste is fantastic! I have tried other new designer chocolates from others but always come back for more See's. Love their free samples too!

Yelp
The chocolate store is located on the ground level and near the exit of the movie theatre. The staff working here is very friendly and helpful, and they carry the classic see's candies collections. I liked one of their summer berries Blueberry Truffle chocolate.

Yelp
The good: I was searching for a candy store to bribe my toddler and was happy to see See's. The store is small but has plenty of options. It had it signature black and white interior appearance with the old fashioned white uniforms that the workers wear (makes me think of the I Love Lucy episode where Lucy works at a chocolate factory). My toddler picked out 3 Valentine's day candies (one for herself, dad and brother) and they were heart shaped and very cute. The worker there was super friendly and nice. She gave us 2 free samples too (birthday cake, toddler approved, and a chocolate caramel sample). The chocolate heart we got with marshmallow was very decadent and fun. The bad : Their chocolates are a bit too sweet. This place is located in the mall where you have to pay for parking. See's doesn't validate parking. The interesting: See's is originally from LA! Knowing this now, I will consider it more often as an oversees local gift.

Yelp
See's Candies is a classic brand. They've been around for over 100 years! They were founded in Los Angeles by Charles and Mary See. Mary See, Charles's mom, is the iconic face on the See's candy box. The original candies were her recipes. There is something magical, nostalgic, and comforting about stepping into this black and white candy store. You really can't go wrong with whatever you choose. They give free samples. A box of See's always makes a great gift. Their themed holiday boxes and candies are super cute. See's does offer kosher candies. To know if a candy box is kosher check for a label that says "KSA" on the back of the box. All candies are gluten free, according to the website. I'm not sure if they carry any vegan options. It would be nice if they did have clearly labeled vegan options to keep up with the times. I was told by the candy concierge that they have a rewards program. It runs from June to October 2023. You have to buy $30 worth of chocolates EACH month in store for 3 months and then you get a $20 reward. I didn't see this promotion listed in store and I cannot find it posted anywhere online so, if you are interested in the promotion, please check with the store. I like that See's started a rewards program. I do feel that this reward program is complicated. I would love if they had a rewards app where you got a reward after spending a certain amount. I would also love if they gave birthday rewards. See's Candies is located in Westfield Century City Mall. It is behind Coffee Bean and next to the down escalators that lead to Gelson's.

Yelp
Every-time I step into See's they always greet me and everyone with such warmth. The first thing they asked was if I'd like a sample! Well of course I do! So sweet of you to ask lol! I ended up buying this delicious smelling candle for my 90 year old client who's birthday is this weekend! Happy Easter and Passover everyone!

Yelp
I just put in a DoorDash order and I was calling to ask for a couple of pieces for complementary and they are not answering the phone and I've called like six times or more

Yelp
Excellent service from the ladies working Friday, August 26th around 4-ish. I was in a down mood due to life in general, and these ladies put a smile on my face. I went in for just a couple pieces of my favorite chocolate (milk chocolate vanilla buttercream) since that is all I could afford, and I left in a much better mood thanks to my positive experience at See's. I consider this a treat and cannot come as often as I'd like, but I look forward to the next time I can make it over. Thank you so much-

Yelp
One of the smaller shops - a convenient grab and go location right by the Gelenson's @ Westfield Century City. Chocolates always taste fresh and Yvonne the manager is a sweetheart.

Yelp
The people that run this location either lack any power to please the customer or conduct themselves in a manner that can only astonish the human mind. They simply have no business sense. I spent some time in the store today, and was prepared to buy some candy by the box. The box was 85 percent full, and they would not close the sale unless I completed the box at 100 percent full. I said I would pay any difference for the price of the box. They would not close the sale. Therefore, they lost my business and I left. Makes no sense. 85% of something is better than no sale at all. Someone needs to go back to business school, or management needs to instruct and empower their employees to engage in customer service.

Yelp
i just came here with my family to get some lollipops, and we normally go to the arcadia location where the employees are super kind. however, the employee who checked us out today was incredibly rude. i think her name was Deiseah, but I forgot the exact spelling. i understand it's the holiday season and they may be stressed out, but it was incredibly unwelcoming.

Yelp
*See's Candies in the City* Sentimental Sweet Spot I grew up on See's Candies and have been eating it ever since I knew what candy was. I blame my Dad & Mom because before I was born, my Mom ate See's while I was in her tummy and I inherited my parent's candy-loving genes :) I grew up near Century City. The outdoor shopping mall was always one of my favorite places and would go there all the time with my parents. I'd also often walk there when I was a kid with my brother or friends, just for See's Candies (Bob's Big Boy and Clinton's Cafeteria too) I still go to Century City regularly, and it's nearly impossible for me to be near any See's Candies without the need to to cure my quick candy fix. Everyone working at this location is always sweet & kind to me - just like their candy... and I love the white outfitted uniforms with the black bow tie & sweaters they still wear after all these years - just like Mary See's on the Box. What I also love about See's is they always offer free samples no matter what you buy or how much you spend. Since I don't like to eat too much sugar & chocolate nowadays, I try to limit my candy intake and I usually buy 2 things + my free sample. I have learned to have willpower but still can't resist the indulgence. My favorites are: Scotchmallows, Scotch Kisses and Molasses Chips. I first discovered the Molasses Chips in their traditional pre-made one pound boxes when I was a little boy. And due to the fact there's 3 pieces, I'd always choose it as my free sample because I could make it last longer :) I used to buy 10-20 boxes every year during the holidays and give them as gifts. And every year since I was 10 (back then I'd save my allowance and wash cars) I'd buy my parents & all my grandparents their own 1 pound box (sometimes even 2 lbs ;) of their own select boxes because they all have/had their favorites. It's so much fun picking out all the individual pieces & putting together personalized boxes. But truth be told - there were a couple years where I'd break into one of their boxes and have to go back to buy a replacement :) There's also been times I'd buy 50-100 boxes and give them to clients as gifts for the holidays. Who wouldn't like & enjoy a box of See's Candies?? See's Candies has a lot of wonderful history & tradition and there's a reason why they've been around & doing their thing since 1921. See's Candies always hits a sentimental sweet spot. It's been a big part of my childhood & adult life, and to this day, every time I step foot inside any of their locations, I still feel like a kid in the perfect candy store.

Jnine N.

Yelp
Great place to purchase delicious chocolates and they aways taste delicious. The samples give a quick fix for chocolate lovers but having a bag of almonds covered in milk chocolate is a delicious delight

Yelp
I would like to share my great experience from the See's candy store in Westfield Century City. I am a regular customer of See's candy because my family really love their candy. Additinally, most family members have dairy and nut issues. I have visited several stores, but the experience with Alex who is an employee from Westfield Century City was incredible. I stopped by the store to buy a gift for my mother. Before visiting the store, I already checked which I wanna buy on the website, so I did not need to get assistance. Nevertheless, Alex had kept reminding me he was more than happy to assist me and to suggest a new flavor and promotion. After I had tried a new flavor, I would like to buy some snacks for myself, and when I had a question about nutrient information, he really tried to give the correct information. Because of his assistance, I do not need to check all the nutrient and ingredient information before visiting the store. Furthermore, while staying in the store, Alex had kept a happy face all the time, and his attitude towards all customers was just sweet and kind, like See's candy. I was really happy and glad to meet him. I really appreciate Alex helping me to have a great time.

Yelp
Couldn't buy one piece of candy two women and chatty customers talking talking talking talking talking nonstop talking about nothing why aren't you there for customers? People don't have all day for you to chit chat nonstop slower than turtles horrible experience

Yelp
Thank you to the tall blond gal who helped me reach the pre-packed Peanut Butter Crunch . She went above and beyond her job duty this evening. She was friendly and accommodating I even went back for a second purchase of something else..what the heck! Last week behind the counter a big gal, brunet with long thick brown hair gave me a sample and because the wrong name was given to her by accident, receiving the piece of candy, holding it in my hand I said oops this is the wrong one. She squeezed her long big arm through the small opening of the plexiglass and said give it back! It was quite comical. She looked utterly ridiculous asking for the sample back with her big arm extending out through a small opening. Told her, no worries I like this one too!

Roy S.

Yelp
Staff was friendly and helpful. Always easy to find something you need for a gift or family

Yelp
Watching basketball at the gym and watching the Lakers play again? I can't help but think about the GOAT # 24/Kobe Bryant(hardest work ethic of all ballers)as this very simple place was one of his favorite places for sweets. And you know what? It's the simplicity of the caramel intermixed with the rest of the nougat and the nuts which make this simple sweet a classic. Just give me simplicity in a zen-fashion and I am content and my soul feels utterly at peace. Tranquil. Yes, that's what I feel whenever I see a See's Candies. Chill....To the next episode.

Yelp
How can anyone not like See's Candies?? Well, this place is very EVIL because you can ask for whatever flavor of samples that you like to try. It is just so hard not to walk into this store since it is right off of the escalator when you come up from Gelsons!! Then again, you can eat some chocolate then walk next door and sign up with Equinox...haha. My latest love is the Awesome Peanut Brittle Chocolate bars....Oh my oh my, it is so so good. If you haven't tried it, do yourselves a favor, BUY a box of 8 and try not to finish all 8 pieces at once!!! You will see what I mean. See's candies is such a cash cow for Warren Buffet. Though we see it as a chocolate shop, Warren sees (pun intended...haha) or hears it as "Cha Ching, cha ching" right into his bank accounts!! I am upping the ante to 5 stars for this See's location and the great services that they've provided me. I love See's!!
google avatar

Yelp
Not much needs to be said, See's are just the best chocolates in the World!! Even friends from Belgium request it! Simply the best!

Lisa P.

Yelp
I went into the See's at Century city yesterday, and it's always great to see Leniece and Darcel there working together. They are always so welcoming and have just great customer service. I can chat about life with them. The experience is always great. They have been there forever always look forward to seeing them.

Yelp
Who doesn't love See's Candy? Like everyone else I grew up on their lollypops and assorted chocolates. My favorite are the toffee-ettes and the milk/dark chocolate almond clusters. They always offer samples and have a consistent quality of product. This location is no different. The people behind the counter were super nice (even to people that just came in for free samples and didn't buy anything). They are located at a beautiful mall, right next to a convenient parking structure. All that said, this review is meant to be more of a simple life hack than anything else... the next time you're going to the AMC theaters (which are amazing) upstairs, why not swing by Sees first. The snacks are already expensive at the theater, so why not grab some high quality chocolates for your movie going experience. I know you're probably not supposed to bring food in, but a little snack in a pocket or purse couldn't hurt. Also, try not to bring anything crunchy in to be courteous to you movie goin neighbors.

Yelp
The candy is fantastic, but the order online process for pickup or shipping is miserable. Customer service is non-existent There are no confirmation emails sent, no chat capability online and 800 customer service line automatically disconnects callers after waiting 15 minutes with no representative. They just give up on trying to answer your call and the recording tells you to call back when they are less busy And despite not receiving any confirmation emails after a full week, they started sending spam marketing emails just 2 days after ordering. There is no option to opt out during order process - they just assume you want them. ugggh

Yelp
Sees candies--my Favorite chocolates.! Century City Westfield mall See's is OPEN!!! Yay and Yummm All the usual preboxed and ready to go plus seasonal varieties like the apple Carmel lollipop and the apple marshmallow The gentleman that was helping us (I wish I got his name) this afternoon was very nice and helpful and we did not get rushed in choosing our 2 pounds of chocolate!!! I usually get nuts and chews and got the milk chocolate box too. And, they're still giving samples of your choice!!! So traditional and super nice to get a treat. Thank you for being open --since from the beginning I and many friends considered Sees Candies as an essential business!!!

Yelp
You can't go wrong with their chocolates. I just wish they have a friendlier staff at the front counter. I showed the Lady my 1 pound coupon and the first thing she said if I choose the chocolates on the left-hand side I would have to pay extra. She wasn't happy when I chose to choose my chocolates. She offered to just have me pick one of the pre-prepared boxes behind me. When I walk into a candy store I'm expecting a happy person at the front counter. I didn't experience that in this store.

Yelp
Best see's location. I love coming in and feeling welcome. Aracely and Darcel are super sweet and welcoming.

Yelp
I love See's Candy, but not Lynise who works at the Century City location. I was there on 12/15. Lynise, who is probably seasonal help, got the ghetto hoodrat award for customer service. She was very rude to an elderly customer before me. Then her rudeness spilled over on me. She rudely told me she was off the clock and was just helping out. I could not have cared less about her work schedule. I ordered dark, chocolate buttercream. I see her putting milk chocolate into the bag. I politely corrected her. She rudely said, "Oh!, so you want dark chocolate?" I said, "That's what I ordered." She then tossed the milk chocolate back into the drawer. I then said, "Oh, you can keep that. Someone else will help me, and I will be emailing corporate." She chimed in as she shuffled to the backroom. I couldn't make out what she said, but I'm sure it reflected her ignorance. She never offered my daughter and me a sample either. As an African American, I am 100% comfortable calling out ghetto hoodrat when I see it. Lynise = ghetto hoodrat. The gentleman who helped us after Lynise made her exit was very polite and carried out our orders correctly. Just a suggestion to See's, I'm all for equal opportunity employment, but maybe you need to revisit your hiring requirements.

Yelp
Walked in and after a just short wait... Asked for a sample of White Chocolate Cashew Brittle and loved it. Wanted to buy a whole box or a bag and couldn't find it on the floor but the who was helping me went back 2X times to look for it. She came out and found it on the tower. Made my day!
google avatar

Stefanie G.

Yelp
I love sees. Most of it is gluten free so I never have to worry going in and getting any of the treats. They recently started making licorice that is gluten free! I'm having nostalgia eating the red licorice that tastes like redvines! So delicious. Everything here is amazing.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped into the see's candies in Century city. My 85 year old mother loves Sees. There was a Man working behind the counter, actually the first time I've seen a man working at Sees. The thing was he was probably the rudest person I have ever encountered at any candy store. My poor mother is hard of hearing. He was barking at her. Never offered a sample. And was generally very impatient. Not a nice experience. Defiantly look to other stores from now on.

Rit A.

Yelp
The best staff, always cheerful, welcoming and caring. I cannot say enough about how great the employees are handling business. Whenever i pay a visit to the mall I stop by See's candies to get chocolate to boost my mood. Staff pay special attention to each customer and welcome everybody by sweet smile.
google avatar

Christina S.

Yelp
Always a lovely place to stop in for samples. They had some new items, peanut butter crisp and peanut butter fudge, and my favorite almond square is back for a limited time (it's still available in the nuts & chews box, but as a separate item, they only bring it out once a year). The workers are always nice and pleasant and don't mind if you just come in for a sample without purchasing.

James W.

Yelp
Last two times I went there they completely got my order wrong after verbally confirming my order was what I ordered. The manager there is VERY rude and could not care less about customer service. Obviously, we won't be going here again.
google avatar

Reina N.

Yelp
It was my first time experiencing See's Candies and Denise made it such a memorable experience. She was really knowledgeable and helped me figure out which chocolates I would like. My boyfriend hadn't been to See's Candies in 12 years and now we'll be going much more often!
google avatar

Meg K.

Yelp
Love this shop so much! Always have a great experience there. Love their nutty dark chocolates but service can sometimes fall under par.
google avatar

Jen W.

Yelp
I didn't see her name but the employee you had working in this location on Friday 7th August at 11am clearly hates her job and anyone who dares to try and buy from there.... seriously unpleasant experience. Feel free to reach out if you'd like more details
google avatar

Yelp
The people who work at this store are so nice! I had a gift certificate from Christmas and used it while in this mall. I got to pick a pound of chocolates and it was fun! I didn't know so many pieces fit a box and the lady kept saying, you can pick more because I thought I could pick 12, but it was more like 20! Now we all know the whole Forrest Gump / chocolate metaphor, but let me tell you - a box of chocolates is way better when you KNOW exactly what you're gonna get! This was my first time picking all my favorite truffles and chews to fill up a box and it is a terrific treat. I definitely recommend making your own box as it guarantees no half-bitten chews and gross peanut cluster things. Oh, and let me repeat that the women working here were both so polite! A family of 4 literally came in, stood in line for a free chocolate sample, then rebuffed the sample they were given and asked for a specific kind, walked away from the display without buying anything, came back and asked if they had cups of water. WOW! All the while, the two employees were smiling kindly (no sarcasm at all). I was quite amazed. Luckily, I don't work in customer service since I don't tolerate people well, especially shameless cheapskates. See's Candy is a good place to buy gifts and everyone in front of me bought those lollipop things, lol. I guess they are very popular.
google avatar

Yelp
My wife and I experienced this same rudeness by the manager at Century City See's this Christmas Eve. We'd asked for 2 Bordeaux's as the extras they give you when you buy two boxes as we did. When we left the store the Bordeaux's were not there. When I went back in the manager said go outside and stand in the line again. (Covids line) I said I just wanted the 2 missing chocolates. She (the mgr) said "We left them out because we don't have Bordeaux's." I said they had them and pointed them out. I also asked why she had said nothing to us about leaving them out. She was just laughing a little at me when I asked and when I said I didn't like her attitude she kind of sneered more and handed me the two chocolates and said, "what attitude are you talking about." What a shock. One of the good things about visiting See's in the past was how extra nice they were to customers. The chocolates are and were great and good value as always for See's. But what a downer and disillusioning to be treated like that by a manager at See's.

Lady A.

Yelp
Service not good. Took them 30 minutes to pack 3 boxes of chocolate and another 15 minutes to ring in the sale. I asked for 2lb heart with equal portions nuts and chews, soft centers and marshmallows and wound up with all nut candies. Bigger problem is that they let way too many people in the store.
google avatar

Lana Z.

Yelp
My mom and I just left the store and were extremely unhappy with the customer service. The staff has the WORST attitude and are not helpful whatsoever. We purchased over $150 worth of chocolates and we weren't even offered a sample. The women who work there are so stiff and unfriendly it almost wants you to not buy anything at all.
google avatar

Kim S.

Yelp
I so love this shop! Sees Candies has the best chocolate in America! It does not get any better than Sees Candies. It is the only high quality chocolate that I am willing to eat from America. I literally grew up on Sees Candy. Their candy is so dam good, it could actually compete with Belgian's chocolates. My loveable mother sent Dutchman a big box of chocolates for his birthday. Hè loved them so much they were gone it felt like in seconds...
google avatar

Lauren N.

Yelp
WHY DIDN'T I FIND THIS PLACE SOONER?! Stumbled in here after work since it was just a block away and was craving candy. Firstly, you get a free sample when you walk in. And by sample, it's a full-sized chocolate! And then you can ask for more samples. While I feel like that's cheating a bit, they're more than willing to let you try chocolates. I walked out with 4 pieces (which was actually more than enough for me) at ~$3. Not bad for good-sized chocolate pieces. My favorite out of the bunch was definitely the butterchew (I think that's what it was called?). The dark chocolate truffle was also a favorite of my boyfriend + me. I have since stopped interning down the street, but next time I'm at Century City Mall, I'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Donna J.

Yelp
I was in on 2/10 and was taken good care of by Daryl Franklin and Jose Lee. A couple of kind, polite, respectful fellows who helped me out after I dropped my candy on the floor and kindly gave me another. Thank you guys!!!!! Donna
google avatar

Alexandra C.

Yelp
Haven't been offered samples on last visits like always used to, unfortunately but I did see people ask for them, so they will let you try a chocolate before you order per pound. See's is one of my favorites from 20 years ago. It's still good after all these years but some of their chocolates are just much too sweet. So always good to try before you buy and it is nice they allow you to do that!
google avatar

Steven K.

Yelp
Thanks, JOSE! For being so nice and the wonderful samples! I'll be back because of YOU! You're why stores still exist, buddy! Keep up the good work!

Bob J.

Yelp
This negative review relates to service, not quality. The candy is delicious. I went into the Century City See's to buy a pound of chocolates for my wife. The woman who helped me was surly, but that's not why I'm writing. I gave her very specific instructions so I could get my wife exactly the selection she loves. I would point to items in the display, read off the name, and ask for 2 of each. She scooped out the actual candy from bins or boxes behind the display. She did it very quickly and casually. I couldn't see what she was doing. I did see her hang onto the bag and bring it to the counter, so I'm sure I received the bag she prepared. When I got home, I discovered that she paid little attention to what I ordered and just grabbed stuff more or less at random. Less than 25% of the order was correct. Had to throw away some of the candy. Bad, bad service.
google avatar

Marsh N.

Yelp
Some of my favorite chocolates! They always offer a sample when you come in. I love the California brittle and their soft mints. Staff here is friendly too.
google avatar

Ged N.

Yelp
Got to say, sadly, the customer service at this Century City Mall location on Saturday evening was awful. The two staff seemed totally miserable to be there - grumpy and very unenthusiastic. For a company that prides itself on old-fashioned customer service, this was deeply disappointing. Definitely puts me off going back, even though I love the chocolate.
google avatar

J. L.

Yelp
Would love an addition of kosher and halal and vegan candies. They have diabetic friendly candy for any looking!! Their fudge is full of walnuts and chocolate and caramel lovers both have tons of choices loaded with nuts like walnuts and peanuts and almonds. They do need to do a seperate case for those nut allergy kids as there are tons in Cali so Warren please make the adjustment soon darling, thank you.

Yelp
Loved the customer service from Lannice( not sure of spelling). She treated my daughters and l the other day with so much patience!! The chocolates we tasted were very good too. You really can't go wrong at See's Candies. Thanks Lannice for helping us...
