I’ve been a huge fan of Seetanu for years now. The staff is generally friendly, the bungalows are decent, and the serene, relaxing beach has always been the true star of the show. However, during my recent visit, I was saddened to discover that the peaceful beach I loved is no more. Their neighbors at seatara have been constructing a massive complex, complete with an oversized sound system that blasts music from as early as 8 AM until late at night. They seem completely indifferent to the volume and bass levels, leaving the entire beach and Seetanu’s guests to endure constant thumping bass, whether you’re in your bungalow or trying to relax on the shore.
It’s a real shame because the island as a whole has been changing for the worse over the past few years, and this is just one of those unfortunate shifts. Seetanu used to be my happy place, but sadly, those days seem to be gone. As much as it pains me to say, I won’t be returning anymore.
I sincerely hope the owners of Seetanu address this issue with their neighbors and work to restore the tranquility that made this place so special..
Edit response to owner: no that is not true. I stayed 2 weeks at seetanu and they played loud music every single day. Also look up their instagram and you can see they program dj’s every other day.. really sort it out with them as they are ruining your business
