Hotel Selenunda

Friendly staff, super kind and helpful—Hotel can be really difficult to access without a car or bike therefore the owners do pick you up from the port so that was nice. Same thing for the check-out they do drive you back.

We just came back from a long stay at Selenunda and we had a lovely time! The views from the rooms are just unbeatable - waking up to that view every morning was awesome! And you can get the bus to the nearby beaches from down the steps in Loutraki. As noted by the hotel and in reviews, the steps up from Loutraki require physical fitness and will not be suited to those with mobility issues. And the walk to Glossa is not really tenable in the summer heat. But we went without a vehicle, and were fine with that - there are several affordable daily buses from Loutraki to all nearby beaches (Panormos is the best). The room was very large, was well cleaned on a daily basis, and included a large kitchenette (we cooked several meals there). The hosts - Babis and Spiros - were very warm and welcoming, and were very helpful the few times we needed to ask them for something. The only real downside was the beds, which were two singles rather than the double the booking stated, and which had really quite hard mattresses. But overall we had a wonderful stay!

A fabulous place for an holiday in shopelos! Close to the Glossa port, you can get there by a stairs. Very clean, equipped with air conditioning and all kitchen amenities, with a stunting view from the room balcony! Stai there at the sunset is a must! Moreover a staff super kind and friendly! Very well done! Hope to see you soon again!

This was our second holiday at this hotel. If you are looking for true Greek hospitality, top cleanliness, spacious rooms and a crazy good view...there is no better choice on Skopelos island than Hotel Selenunda. TOP!

Were for 2 nights in this hotel. We like it, because is really quite place. Far away from the road. But the most beautiful point is the view from the balcony at Sporades Islands. Rooms is cleaned, staff is friendly. Have also parking area, little bit hard to reach it, but you are on the Greece and is kind of mountains around.

We arrived late on the Flying Cat into Loutraki and took a taxi to the hotel. The owners were waiting for us when we arrived, which was really nice. ||||Even though we had reserved a family room, they brought in a cot when they saw that my kids were teens, which was really thoughtful.||||The family room was spacious with a bedroom and a double size bed in another room. There was also a small kitchenette. The rooms were clean and well-kept. Pride of ownership can be seen in this hotel. ||||Because we had arrived around 10 p.m., it was dark. Our first view of the turquoise waters of Skopelos were from our wonderful balcony in the morning!||||Our rental car was delivered to the hotel and we had breakfast in restaurant just below the hotel. I think we could have walked to it. (Next time!)||||Had I known how lovely this hotel was, I would have planned to stay longer. Next time...

I've spent 4 nights in this nice hotel. Though old it is well preserved and clean. Great view and close to Loutraki port. It's really funny the way you can access Loutraki on foot but you are there in 5 min. (if you don't mind stairs!!!). They've changed bedsheets and towels every day and they were all very kind and helpful in whatever we've asked. It was really quiet and I’d recommend it for sure!!

We stayed 2 nights here to break away from Skopelos town,,and to get near to the Mama Mia church( a must visit for my wife).|It is not easy access if you do not have a car. We arrived by bus walked down the harbour, found an open door marked Selenuda Hotel,and. Red arrow pointing up a set of stairs. As we puzzled an elderly greek lady , came to us asked if we wanted the hotel, went to her telephone,,and 2 minutes later Babis the hotel owner appeared with car. He put our case in , plus use and took us about 1/2 mile up,a step twisty turney road, then down a 1in 4 step drive to the hotel.|We checked in and Babis showed us our room ,,and the "quick way" back down. This was down steps, across a roof garden, down more steps, across another roof, down more steps and hey presto you are back harbour side.|View over Loutraki harbour was wonderful. With the small kitchen , table and chairs on the balcony , we decided we would cook in and sit on the balcony, with food and wine and watch the sky and the sea change colour ! Really great view and relaxing.|Also so glad we did this as when walking back up with bags of food and wine, we counted 163 steps from harbour side to room! Not sure how good that would be after a large meal and a few drinks.|A taxi is another option of course!|Babis organised a taxi to take us to the mama Mia famous church . We Left at 8.20 on a Sunday sunny morning and had the entire site to ourselves. No one else appeared as we walked up . Took numerous photos as we went up. Walked around and came back down without seeing another person. Wonderful.|All in all a great place
