I can't compare this to other Japanese places in the city since this is the only one I've been to, but our table of Asians (including a Japanese girl) came away pretty happy with this meal. We'd been in Europe for too long, had little to no access to seafood or decent sushi that didn't empty a hole in our pockets, and this tiny little place in Elmegade changed all that.
They're supposed to have a Japanese-only special menu if you ask nicely and speak in Japanese. We tried, but they were too busy that night to serve it.
There's room for maybe just 15 people, so most business is take-out. There is some outdoor seating, but you won't be wanting that when it's -10 deg Celsius outside. The chef and his entire crew is Japanese.
We had maguro, salmon, ika, yakitori, miso soup, ocha -- the typical stuff we'd have at home. It was fresh and real and it wasn't watered down for the western palate, so top marks for that.
They have platters of various sizes. Our two L sets fed three very hungry Asian girls well into the next day. They also have XL and XXL sets and even XXL I think. I would eat here again if I needed decently priced, more-than-decent sushi in Copenhagen again.
