Great hostel! Amazing location. Incredible staff! I got a room upgrade with amazing view for free too. We had a private bedroom - can’t tell you enough how great the bed is. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, with Marco being particularly helpful during check-in. The room was decent, though nothing extraordinary. Loved how the wild animals come and relax. Making us feel one with nature. Wish more animals would be here. Overall, a solid choice for travelers looking for convenience and a warm atmosphere.

Amazing hotel! I stayed here over a week and combined remote work. Hotel has everything what is needed. Location is perfect. I highly recommend. Pamela is amazing in helping. Highly recommend to stay here for chill and relaxing vibes. And I got free room upgrade too 😬 Additionally, if you are solo traveler, they offer free tours and yoga classes.

Selina Hotel may have an older appearance, but its charm lies in its exceptional service, prime location, and welcoming atmosphere. Conveniently located just three minutes from a grocery store, it provides easy access to essentials. One delightful surprise? The abundance of iguanas roaming the grounds, adding to its unique character! Plus, with plenty of restaurants nearby, guests have great dining options just a short stroll away. The hotel is only 3-4 minutes from the lively Coco Bongo and just 5-10 minutes from the beach—making it an ideal spot for those looking to enjoy the best of the area. If you're looking for a great experience with warm hospitality, prime location, and a touch of local charm, this hotel is a solid choice.

Stayed in the Selina in Costa Rica and it was amazing. Hoping for the same experience in Cancun. However, it was much different. The place was a ghost town. No people hanging out. No activities going on. However, I will say Pilar at the front desk was amazing. She was by far the happiest and most energetic front desk attendant. She was great to deal with!

The hotel was in the perfect location. Walking distance to everything. The rooms are OK, the only negatives is that they do not have privacy curtains. They also do not offer any breakfast like they do at most Selina locations. Marcos and Pilar at the front desk were super friendly and professional. All and all the staff were great!

Had an amazing stay at Selina! They upgraded my room for free when I got here so I was even extra happy.. the front desk and all the stuff is amazing and so supportive (especially Pilar and Marco).. as a first timer in Mexico I couldn’t be more happy for the hotel I choose! Definitely will come back.. thank you!

Location was excellent. Even though the hotel is located literally in a construction site, but it’s two minutes from everything. Personally, I wouldn’t stay another day in Cancun, but if you are already there, it’s okay. Not much of a hostel vibe. But is very welcoming.
