My stay at Selina Manuel Antonio was nothing short of exceptional—"fantastic" hardly does it justice. This vibrant oasis offers everything you could hope for, from the friendly and attentive staff to the exhilarating activities and lively nightlife. Each day was filled with adventure and camaraderie; I celebrated my birthday with two newfound friends who feel like they've been a part of my life forever. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after days packed with fun and exploration. Although the location is about a 30-minute walk from the beach, it's just a quick and easy bus ride away, making it conveniently accessible. Selina Manuel Antonio is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience that leaves you with cherished memories and new friendships. I can't wait to return!

Selina MA is a beautiful property with friendly staff and they host many activities as well as help you to coordinate excursions outside the hotel. I loved everything about this place. Location, the staff were friendly, I loved my instructor Minnie for Pole and Celeste for ecstatic dance. I started in a shared room and was feeling a bit uncomfortable in the top bunk so I decided to upgrade myself to private room with en-suite for my last few day of my birthday trip in CR. When I went to bed, I discovered that my bed had bed bugs. I quickly ran to security working the night party and he came to check. They offered me clean sheets since reception was closed. I told him I wasn’t comfortable. We checked the room next to mine and the bed bugs in there were worse. We finally found a room that didn’t have them. I had all of my clothing and things on the bed so now I was nervous about bringing them to that room. The next morning I asked the front desk to speak to management about the situation and they said no one was available because it was the weekend. I submitted a form online and still have yet to hear from anyone at Selina about the situation. I even had to expedite my laundry through a secondary courier service because they couldn’t guarantee my laundry would be done by my check out day and I was nervous about traveling with bed bugs in my clothing. Again, I loved everything about my stay at Selina minus this incident as it caused me a lot of stress and sleeplessness. I really wish they would have handled this better. Not to mention I am pretty sure people checked in to the rooms that I had left because of the bugs the next day. So make sure you’re checking the beds.

+ AC in rooms, comfy beds + 3 pools, lots of things to do as a part of the hostel + Very social, friendly staff - Feels like a business +/- It’s a party hostel. If you’re looking for a fun time, this is a great place to be! But if you’re looking for a quiet / private atmosphere, this may not be for you.

Great stay! Helpful staff. The room we stayed in could use a fresh layer of paint, it was a bit out of date and not very neat. But for the rest we had a great time, good food and good pool 🤩 It’s nice they have a welcome drink and moment for new arrivers to get to know each other.

This is my first time in Costa Rica and I had an amazing stay at Selina from check-in until my last day. The room suite was clean and spacious and chilly AC which we appreciated, and the ambiance was super chill and the distance to activities and places to go to was top notch. Great food as well. Above all, all the staff really makes you feel welcome and as if you’re at home which is really the key to a memorable stay. Karolayn at the bar at Gallery was super awesome friendly and accommodating with us and helping us. I will never forget this trip ❤️

+ welcome drinks where you can meet others + social + strong AC in bedrooms + comfy beds + great pools - 8 person room had one bathroom with shower/toilet combined - make toilet separate - no curtains on beds (and one bathroom means it’s hard to find ways to change clothes) Location - can stay entertained at the hostel and do tours. It is technically walking distance from the beach down a long hill (hill is tough to walk back up). Overall would stay here again!

Relatively higher prices for this type of hotel /hostel. Our delux room was really nice , but it misses a lot of things to use inside, such as kettle, some cushions for the stone hard sofa, even the duvet cover on my arrive, constantly missing towels. Also at happy hour, the waitress didn’t say two cocktails will be served when I ordered only one. Just the feeling they could do better services than this.. Credit gives to the pools which are not big but nice .

We had an excellent stay at Selina Manuel Antonio! Staff was absolutely incredible and the facilities were top notch !! On-site their were curated daily activities, most being free which was a huge perk. Location couldn’t be better! You are walking distance to beach and amazing restaurants as well as able to walk to the National park entrance. Selina continues to prove how great they are and have knocked it out of the park again. Would definitely recommend this location and or Selina for any future trips
