Amazing place and great atmosphere! A lot of people that are open to connect in the common room, and the rooms for sleeping are very clean, modern and comfortable. The service was amazing too, Chris got me everything I needed and has all the information about getting around in San José. I didn't work remotely from here myself, but they do have co-working spaces that seem to be very nice. The location is also easily accessible if you travel with (taxi)drivers. The food at the restaurant is nice too, so I don't know much about the restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Decent for one night. A bit of a strange vibe, claim to be very social and host many events but nobody attends. The party bus is $120US and I was charged $7US for an iced americano at the restaurant. They have removed the shared kitchen which was about the only social place in the hostel, such a shame.

It was fine, but the most notable thing about this hotel/hostel was the fact that our entry code to our PRIVATE room was literally our room number & #0. Basically every guest can EASILY guess your room entry code and enter your room when you're away. This is such as easy fix and yet the hotel has yet to update the codes. Youre putting yourself at risk of burglary by staying here. Really disappointed.

The vibe here is genuinely so cool, there’s fairy lights and greenery everywhere, it feels like you’re outside when you’re inside. Everyone is so nice and and welcoming, it’s a great space to meet new people :) also they have really yummy food!!

Rooms were warm and a little uncomfortable. The first day we got there the service and bar were good and it just went down hill from there. The bar was never ready to make drinks because the liquor they needed to make those drinks they never had. The atmosphere around the bar was off and the bartenders were standoffish. As for food our first breakfast had plenty of included options and by the last day they were out of a lot of things and the food was cold. On our second day there we were served bad coconut smoothie bowls, the coconut milk had gone sour. When we gave them back to the worker she was a little rude about it as if it was an inconvenience. When she took it to the back we saw her try the bowl twice and each time she made a face of disgust so we know they went back or atleast did not taste right but she went about our stay as if everything was fine. Not acknowledging or apologizing for the soured food they served to multiple people in our group. There were also no towels in the rooms, which may be a common thing for hostels but we assumed there would be towels and the room had a window to the hallway with curtains that would not stay closed exposing our room to passersby. We are not picky but we do have standards and they were not met this time around.
