I am giving 2 stars solely because the view from the villa is absolutely sensational. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end.
The villa itself was in a very worn-out state. Worst of all, there was a constant smell of sewage, making one room completely unlivable. To be fair, I must mention that the management tried very hard to help and provided a replacement villa so that the couple staying in that room had somewhere to sleep.
However, the general hygiene was unacceptable. The pool was dirty, and even the glasses and cutlery in the kitchen were grimy. Everything is run-down and grubby.
The restaurant experience was horrible. I am not joking when I say we were served a frozen supermarket pizza for €8. Simply unbelievable for a resort claiming this standard. I cannot recommend staying here until they do a major renovation and fix the kitchen.
What really left a bad taste, however, was the billing. We were overcharged for groceries, and the staff bought the wrong items (for example, fennel instead of dill). Despite their mistake, they were not accommodating and we still had to pay for the wrong items. We also realized too late that the massages were wrongly billed (overcharged). Again, the management refused to correct this or offer any compensation. It is sad to see, but the condition of the resort seems to be getting worse year after year. It is clear that the current management has no intention of changing anything or investing in maintenance. We will not come back.
