Selvatura Adventure Park

Visited for hike along hanging bridges. Amazing views from 8 different bridges and hike through lush rainforest. The bridges are very stable with relatively little swaying for those concerned! Stunning views over lush terrain. Recommend hiking shoe for easy/moderate hike, bug spray, and being prepared for a range of weather (ranged from hot/sunny to cool/rainy within 2 hrs). Appreciated that transportation to/from was included with online tickets.

An excellent privately owned park near Monte Verde, Costa Rica. It has several attractions for tourists. Zipline with 14 lines, the longest being one km, all above the canopy for excellent views of the cloud forest. There are 8 hanging bridges in another attraction. Because a lot of walking is involved between each Zipline or a hanging bridge, allow about 2.5 hours for each. There are sloth and butterflies sanctuaries.

5 out of 5, amazing experience. We did the Gold Package, which includes the zip lines and hanging bridges, and it was absolutely worth it. It took us about three hours to complete the zip lines at a relaxed pace, and our six year old had the time of his life, even doing the Tarzan swing. The staff was professional, friendly, and very helpful throughout the entire experience. The facilities are beautiful, extremely well maintained, and thoughtfully laid out. Even though it was very busy, the team did an excellent job managing the crowds and keeping everything moving smoothly. Highly recommend arriving as early as possible, ideally a bit before opening, to minimize waiting and get the best overall experience. We also ate lunch at the on site restaurant. The food was good, but it was definitely expensive. I would not call it overpriced, just on the higher end, which is something to plan for. Overall, a fantastic experience and one of the highlights of our trip.

If you’re in this region, this place is a must-visit. It offers a full day of unforgettable experiences, fun, and adrenaline. Highlights include an incredible 1 km–long zipline and a breathtaking jungle walk across hanging bridges.

The receptionist explained each and everything minutely with patience. The zip lines guides were very kind and helpful. Oscar and his colleague explained everything properly during zip lining. Oscar also agreed to my decision of doing the superman pose at the last moment. Everything went very well and I enjoyed. The hanging bridges were awesome!! I got beautiful photographs taken by photographer as well!

I have nothing more to add that hasn’t been shared by hundreds of other reviewers but suffice it to say that this is a sacred place that you HAVE to visit if you are in Monte Verde. I did the suspension bridge tour and it was phenomenal. Didn’t see a lot of wildlife but the rainforest / jungle is sacred and awe-inspiring. The restaurant “El Jardín” was pretty good too but don’t get the burger. Just go for the Casado!

Your lack of management skills show. You have advertised that when purchasing the canopy tour you get complimentary superman, when we came we went to do so and they said no it’s an add on not complimentary. Despite the fact it says complimentary and us showing the manager and multiple staff members they refused refund and wanted an addition $15 PER PERSON on top of the $90 each. They would not honour what they clear have advertised. We refused to do so and went on the regular canopy. There are signs that read no sandals and no open toed shoes nothing about hats or hair clips. I brought a soft brim hat specifically to fit under my helmet because it is difficult to sanitize helmets and they refused and said I had to get out of line if I did not comply. I had to go and spend another $10 in the gift shop to wear your helmets. On this canopy tour where you did not tell any of us that it would be freezing rain and to bring a jacket. The men running the zipline made fun of me for being cold as well as grabbed my bothers calves while passing us to set up the next platform. highly inappropriate and we do not recommend coming to this price gouged. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE, DO NOT PAY AHEAD. You’re much better off going to the actual butterfly conservatory inside the town of Monte Verde

If in Monteverde, Salvatura is a must do. The park offers a host of activities and a great restaurant. We did the sloth experience along with the trail that included hanging bridges. My friends did the ziplining and mentioned it was a top activity and felt safe. I noticed that the ticketing was done smoothly, with guests appointed to an available slot to avoid over crowding at activities- would definitely book ahead.
