Semarang Central Mosque

Masjid Agung Kauman is one of the most historic mosques in Semarang. The architecture reflects traditional Javanese style with a peaceful atmosphere that feels timeless. I grew up in this neighbourhood, quite changed but more professional in managing the mosque to make comfort for people to pray and a little visit at aloon-alon of Semarang (the ancient of Semarang Square). This mosque is one of historical legendary icon in Semarang. The biggest legendary annual event, Dugderan is centralize here, since more than fifty years a go the "Aloon-aloon" Semarang is one the big square that many people came here besides going to Johar Market that is also one of the legendary ancient market even in South East Asia.

A classic mosque that witness the history of Islam spread in Semarang. Still attractive to many people. Since the position near Johar Market and shops which are visitted by people from various places, many people take a break and pray here.

Semarang Central Mosque also know as Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah (MAJT) one of the most prominent building in Jawa Tengah. Here also the place of peace, quite, and religious place where Moeslim do the prayer in order to worship to the God.

Visited here for friday prayer and the vibe was magnificent
