Hotel is adequate and clean with a good sized room, lots of TV stations, and nice balconies. I didn't check the location before I booked. It is about a 30-mintue walk to the heart of the old city. Probably not a concern if you're traveling for business. Breakfast is pretty good, though not spectacular, and not replenished later in the morning. ||In general, I was little disappointed after reading so many positive reviews. The room was hot and stuffy and in need of renovation. Adjusting the thermostat only provided heat, so I needed to sleep with the window open. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, that may have contributed to the stuffiness. Bathroom was tiny. Bedding was nice, but mattress seemed old and sinking. Walls are definitely thin as I could hear a normal-volume conversation from the next room.||Overall my stay was fine, but for the price and from the photos on website, I was expecting something much nicer.

Having a lovely stay at the Semeli hotel, this is not the first time I have stayed here, and I always find the rooms very comfortable and the staff excellent.|I had a great meal in the restaurant and while I was enjoying the relaxing atmosphere, I couldn’t help noticing something very odd. The addition of a large dresser seems to have caused some technical challenges - the painting, which is hidden awkwardly behind the dresser, at an angle, could easily be rehung on the adjoining wall where there is plenty of space. And the cleverly disguised water battle on the floor, why not hide it in the dresser under the coffee machine the bottle is connected to?|Minor things, but easy to fix and would not give the hotel a slightly odd feel.|Overall, highly recommended!

If I could give a higher score , I would. The minute I walked in service came to me. Never had to ask for anything as the staff were pro active, courteous and always willing to assist. The room was clean and had all the necessities. There was parking in the hotel.Breakfast was also great. I highly recommend this hotel and I would book there again if in Nicosia.

We live in Cyprus but not near Nicosia, so we decided to book a hotel for 2 nights as we were going to see John Bishop, ||The hotel is clean and nicely laid out to the intended art deco style and staff were were nice and helpful.||we DID NOT get the room we expected or in my opinion paid for as we booked an Executive Suite, based on the photos on the web site it looked nice and we were looking forward to it as it was also to celebrate our 33rd Wedding anniversary, you can imagine our disappointment when what we got was a standard room, no sofa, jacuzzi or even the nice balcony shown. ||When I asked at reception they said yes this was the executive suite.||Think this say’s enough

A little gem of a hotel off the beat and track. I found it by luck and whilst it’s not the first word in modernity - there’s definitely an old school charm to it.|The staff are incredibly polite and helpful, the rooms have got proper mattresses and pillows with thick bed linen and wooden floors. The price is completely value for money.

Kind and professional service, good quality beds, breakfast, bathrooms and rooms. A comfortable, well run hotel with helpful staff. Lovely terrace. A 25 min walk to the centre, much less by bus or taxi.

A Wonderful Stay - Highly Recommended My recent stay at this hotel was an exceptional experience, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts. I was thoroughly impressed by both the service and facilities, making this hotel a standout choice for anyone visiting Cyprus. Final Thoughts: Overall, my experience at this hotel exceeded my expectations. From the outstanding cleanliness and attentive service to the delicious dining options and modern fitness facilities, this hotel has it all. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, this hotel ensures a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend it and will certainly be returning on my next trip to Cyprus. I am here for a conference on the old university campus of Nicosia. I add some photos that I also used on my Instagram story.

I’m giving 2 stars mostly because some reviews don’t look real if you know what I mean. The rooms are quite dated. Towels need to be replaced ASAP. I had my bed sheet torn and even found some holes in it. Pillows smell in a strange way. Mini fringe is impossible to use because it’s fully occupied with alcohol and snacks. Breakfast is a bare minimum, I decided to eat in a restaurant nearby. On a positive note, personnel seem friendly and welcoming. I’d recommend looking for something else. Quality doesn’t meet price at all.
