Concerned that the hotel I stayed in 4 years earlier, had closed its doors, I found this hotel on internet and booked it, not knowing what was in store for me.||||I arrived at the address, but there was no indication where the hotel was, where the restaurant was and how I should check-in! I managed to find the very last parking place exactly opposite the restaurant entrance, about 50 meters from the hotel sleeping accommodation. Odd! I had to ask a kitchen person through a narrowly opened window onto the street, where the main reception was.||||Under instructions, I went to the restaurant and spoke to staff there, who indicated that there would be a woman to take me to the hotel proper. After 5 minutes, she arrived and took me the 50 meters plus and then inside to the bar! Altho' closed, the bar had 2 men behind the counter, whereupon the woman left me! Fortunately, 1 of the men spoke good English and I was shown my room. He was very pleasant and made sure I wanted for nothing else.||||The room's single window, opened onto a tiny beach and veranda area, with some young children playing in the river water, cordoned off for such activities. Adults were also there supervising their offspring. The sun was setting slowly and was illuminating the entire area in a lovely glow. The restaurant was visible and also full! SO… it was a popular place, it seemed.||||I had opened my case and taken out all the things I would need and decided to eat in the restaurant. I ordered a salad, which was very pleasant and flavourful, returning to my room to catch an early night, ready to be at the ATU place (2km away) at 07:30.||||My room was all in wooden panels, giving the impression that it was built in the 1800s. There was a small TV (LCD) 1 electrical socket!!! The bathroom was large, with its shower draining onto the floor. All basic supplies were present. The room was hot and ventilation was inadequate with only one window. So… I opened my door and let the then strong draft clear out the stuffiness, before closing it for the night.||||The beach was inviting, but I had neither swimming trunks, nor the time.||||Again, breakfast was not available until after I need to be at my destination, so I checked out.
