We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is ideally located near the beautiful Citara Beach and the Poseidon Thermal Park. There’s also a bus stop right below the hotel, making it easy to get wherever you need. The hotel features stunning terraced gardens with several warm-water pools. The grounds are beautifully maintained, giving you the feeling of being in Bali. From the top level of the gardens, you can enjoy breathtaking views.||The rooms are traditionally styled and decorated in vibrant colors. The hotel is clean, but I would recommend that the staff pay closer attention to the towels before placing them in the rooms — they were often poorly washed, and some should already be replaced with newer ones. The hotel does not have a restaurant, so it only offers breakfast. However, during the day, you can order small snacks like sandwiches or panini at the bar — the portions were generous, and we really enjoyed it. There are plenty of restaurants near the beach, where you can easily find great meals for lunch and dinner.

Absolutely adored this hotel. Beautiful surroundings with the most gorgeous thermal pools. Just in front of a lovely beach. The staff are wonderful and you can tell the owner has hand picked very lovely people to work there. The hotel has some lovely cats that just roam around and enjoy human company, they don’t get in the way though…the cats were the actual highlight of my holiday. Some nice little restaurants on the beach front and very reasonably priced…can choose from cheap and cheerful to a more upmarket romantic setting. This place will stay in my heart.

This family-run hotel is set in a beautiful garden setting with three thermal pools and one traditional swimming pool. Very peaceful and tranquil. We were here off -season so our experience might not have been the same in high season. Still, it’s hard to imagine the hotel not being the oasis it seems to us. Staff are welcoming, breakfast has varied choices. A short walk to a nearby beach, good restaurants nearby.

A peaceful and reassuring experience for a solo traveller. I had a full size sea view room, with a king sized bed, made beautifully clean each day. The reception staff could not have more friendly and helpful, especially Veronica. The airport transfer went smoothly (£85 each way if travelling singly and 50 if others are on board). The thermal pools are situated in a luxuriant, well cared for garden. The pools are there for relaxation not sport being over 80 degrees. I was amused to note one couple standing in the main pool for ages just staring into their phones. I think they may even have been watching films! ||Useful to know: there are several different buses at the little turnaround terminal right beneath the hotel. The useful no 2 goes to the nearest town Forio and it also took me to the unmissable garden created by the composer William Walton's wife Susana. The no 23 goes to the island capital Ischia Porto from where you can walk or bus (no 7) to the amazing Castle Aragonese. ||Things to watch out for (obviously nothing to do with the hotel) - mosquitoes and strong waves on the nearby beach Citara bay. The beach slopes steeply and I personally found it tricky getting out of the sea. Once in, it was lovely and the free sandy beach is right on the doorstep. Apparently there's a bit of technique to getting out. There were plenty of other elderly folk managing fine so I just needed to suss out that technique. If I had not been solo, I would possibly have gone on the bus to Forio for my evening meals a few timrs for the sake of choice, but the hotel room terraces (sea view ones) and the local restaurants have tremendous views of the tramonto - sunset.

What a fabulous boutique hotel, great breakfasts with loads of choices, freshly baked goods, lots of meats and cheeses, fresh juices etc Very friendly, knowledgable staff. The hanging garden pools were incredible, really relaxing and very romantic. Perfect views from our top floor sea-view room too. Can’t wait to go back! Also some very nice restaurants within 5 minutes walk as is the bus stop to see some of the island. Hotel organised our transfer from Naples airport too…….perfect.

great sunset view but everything else is pretty average. Frustratingly from the moment you arrive you’re hit with extra costs….if you want to use a pool you need to buy a mandatory 2 euro hair cap, if you want pool towels they cost 3 euro each plus 3 euro each time you want to change them, if you want to use the safe it’s a 10 euro deposit, if you want anything non-standard on the breakfast it’s extra, if you want to take a cake or croissant back to the room it’s extra. Additionally the hotel is located next to a very small and busy beach and only a couple of restaurants, staying here means you will almost certainly travel into town using the bus each night. It’s a shame as the views from the pool area are really pretty.

Good check in, but reception area is very hot, and mosquitoes are waiting for you to step in to feed on you! Picked ocean view room (#301) very clean! Furniture Needs to be updated. Shower small. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner as they don't provide.TV very small and the remote didn't work. Breakfast is not many options and not many choices. Service was good. The 3 thermal pools are nice and relaxing. Clean premises. They alternate jets in between pool (i think to save energy) The last day we checked out but remained for a few extra hrs . They charge an extra €15 per person to use their premises. They don't provide a room for you to shower and change. You have access to the pool shower (outdoor) and to change they provide portable cabins. Very uncomfortable process. When we left, one of the workers ran after us for €29, which we paid cash at the bar as we were already checked out. Even though they made a mistake, it was incredibly offensive and embarrassing to be chased down the bus station. Overall it was a good experience. Just a few little things that would improve the hotel a great deal. I guess that is the reason it's rated a 3 stars.

I love this hotel and have stayed there several times, this time with my mom. There is a nice staff and quality breakfast. I would like to give to this hotel 5 stars BUT I would like to mention that the restaurant "Arcobaleno" that was recommended to me on the reception for a lunch, was really the awful experience! We were treated very disrespectful. Please, note it and speak to the owner of "Arcobaleno" - restaurant, because his treatment to the guests is no go and it did spoil all the good feeling of vacation. It's pity that the hotel on a such high Niveau as yours recommend the restaurant with such ignorant owner and service. Please, take this into your account. Thank you! ❤️ I have written the honest feedback about our experience in Arcobaleno restaurant and I paste it here as well: Just awful! 😣 The staff - the owner was extremely rude, the food quality was miserable and the prices were not corresponded to the food quality. I mean for this money you could have much better meal. I understand its a touristic place, but the owner was extremely rude to us. We asked for some grilled vegetables and got and they were so thin and dry. The bread was extremely dry as well, so it was not possible to bite it, so I asked for an olive oil. I put some olive oil twice(!) : on the vegetables and on the bread and this guy literally RAN TO ME, SCREAMING "THIS OIL COSTS 8 EURO", grasped this olive oil bottle out of my hands and went. I was really shocked and it did really spoil my mood. I mean, he could tell it cost extra, it's no problem, as I'm on holiday I want to spend money and enjoy. He took my mood and the mood of my mom away just for literally nothing. For bringing the bill he sent one of his staff, and as I wanted to pay by card he came up with the billing device himself. I said in a quiet tone it's not correct and it is disrespectful to treat your guests like this, and he started to scream very bad and offensive things and that his olive oil cost 8 euro 😃💩. It's not my first time on lovely island of Ischia, but definitely it's my last time in this awful disrespectful restaurant. Keep your nerves and better find other place to eat.
