"Walk into a good boutique hotel in Milan and you’ll understand something about the city itself. This is Italy’s financial center, the capital of industry, presiding over one of the largest economies in the EU. It stands to reason that the best hotels in town are a far cry from the romantic waterfront palaces of Venice or the quirky pied-à-terres of Rome. The Milanese ideal is smart and sleek, stylish yet eminently suited for business, and always quietly but forcefully impressive. Senato Hotel Milan is an excellent example — but not in the dark, heavy, masculine manner that’s become something of a Milanese luxury-hotel trademark." - Tablet Hotels

I had a wonderful stay during my business trip. Special thanks to Vincenzo and Elena at the reception for their warm smiles and great assistance, as well as a lovely lady at the reception whose name I can’t recall, and a tall gentleman in black who was always ready to help. Federico is a friendly person who makes guests enjoy sitting at the bar – thank you my friend! The entire team was friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping was excellent, with great attention to detail. Highly recommended hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Senato. The location is perfect, the atmosphere is elegant, and the rooms are beautifully designed. Most importantly, the staff went above and beyond for us - they were incredibly kind and helpful when we needed their assistance.

Location very central and yet quite quiet. |Classic Double Room - requested quiet room facing the courtyard but|got room facing the main street |Room 208 but luckily it was not noisy.|Only hotel in Italy so far with hair conditioner. |Tiny room with tiny shower room |Floor in shower room could be a bit cleaner (maybe just a bit old), but clean lines and calming decor. |Need to bring own magnifying mirror|Good hairdryer|Breakfast didn’t offer any cooked items and asked for eggs but all they could offer was scrambled eggs unless you pay extra!|Other breakfast items were very nice.

The location is very good, within walking distance of the cathedral and main shopping area. The room was very decent and clean. Above all, the staff were excellent. They offered us an earlier check in after a long flight of around 20 hours, seeing us brushing teeth and washing face at the toilet near the reception. We appreciated it a lot!

Senato Hotel is such a cool place to stay in Milan! The design is impressive—modern, stylish, and full of character. Everything was spotless; the cleanliness is top-notch. From the moment we arrived, the vibe at reception was warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly attentive to every detail, making sure our stay was smooth and enjoyable. It’s truly an amazing hotel to stay in Milano, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay here while in Milan. Walking distance to the duomo and shopping and great customer service. The AC was down unexpectedly for the hotel but they were very accommodating and took care of the guests given this. I would highly recommend.

The rooms were beautifully appointed and the breakfast delicious - lots of choice and fresh. Above all, the staff were excellent- friendly, helpful and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Special mention to Marcello on Reception - what a super guy.

When looking for a hotel in the center of Milan, near the shopping, I was at a loss because all of the hotels I had previously stayed in had been renovated and become very very expensive. An Italian friend recommended this beautifully done boutique hotel, just a couple blocks off the Montenapoleone, the center of the designer shopping area. Ultra modern with beautiful black and white marble accents, subdued, lighting, a young and friendly staff, who all seem to speak English. The room was light and bright, a tad bit small and modern. The restaurant serves a delicious breakfast and everyone was so cheerful each morning. Walkable to many wonderful places nearby.

Yelp
We had a good experience here and found the staff very helpful and accommodating. They were able to store our luggage for the day as we arrived early and our room was not ready yet. They were also able to store our luggage for a few days as we left to visit another city and returned later in the week. The hotel is located close to Via Montenapoleone and the main shopping areas in Milan. It is only one stop away from Duomo as well. They can reserve fixed price taxis to both Linate and Malpensa (120 euros for Malpensa, while reserving an Uber in advance would have been about 145) airports. Our initial room had a very small and cramped bathroom. The second room had a much larger bathroom though, the shower did not drain well so it sometimes smelled a bit musty. Beware of mosquitoes if you leave the door to the outside/window open as there was no screen.

Yelp
Just booked 3 nights again at this wonderful hotel. We stayed here about 3 years ago and didn't even check other hotels in Milan this time as this one is in a perfect location to everything there is to see and do in Milan. Clean rooms and friendly staff. A definite 4 star hotel.

Yelp
Great. Made a quick pit stop here on the first night of our honeymoon to get over the jet lag. We loved the ambience and vibe as well as the sleek decor. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Amazing stay at boutique Hotel Senato. Gorgeous design and lobby. The rooms are minimalist chic. Our suite came with a huge bathroom and private patio, but the hotel has a beautiful solarium on the fifth floor that is definitely worth checking out. The complimentary breakfast buffet is not to be missed. The hotel is very close to Via Montenapoleone and a 5-7 minute walk to La Scala and the Galleria. Highly recommend.

Yelp
We were in town for two nights on a little tour of Milan, Verona, and Lake Garda. Perfect walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Very quiet room with large bed (a tiny bit cramped). Very friendly front desk folks and the breakfast was good.

Yelp
The location of the hotel is great -- just a couple of blocks away from Milano Duomo and Ambrosiana museum... as well as from all the shopping (beware)! Lots of restaurants as well near by. The room is clean and has a small gym in the basement. The front desk is quite helpful in giving directions, suggesting restaurants and will call a cab for you upon request.
