Seng Hout Hotel

The hotel is centrally located, giving an easy access to the city’s main attractions. The room was clean but the public areas were dusty and poorly maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, a good option for such a reasonable price.

Location of the hotel is really great, right near the market and pub street. So, if going out is the goal then this is a great option with rooftop access and swimming pool. Staff were very friendly as well. Room was not clean however, especially the bathroom which was not cleaned in some time by the looks of it.

The best location, the room is ok but the bathroom smell like something from the drains. The staff are young and friendly. If you come for a short time and want to explore more this hotel location is suitable for you !

This hotel offers reasonable prices, especially for people on the move. The location is great, right in the city center and next to the central market. The wifi did drop occasionally which we’d expected to happen so we relied on our phone services a lot. The place could use a bit more cleaning, though it seemed like renovations were going on, which explains the mess. Overall, I have high hopes for this place and would definitely visit here again.

Visiting Battambang on a whim, I booked one night at Seng Hout. The location is pretty good, as the market and pub street are all walking distance. I found the service and room to be adequate. It was clean, and despite other reviews, no sign of bugs. The hot shower was much appreciated. My main complaints are how noisy the hallway was after hours, and the fact that there was one usable outlet to charge devices. The Bathroom outlet was removed and filled in with a plastic bag, so they clearly know about this problem in that room. Also the safe was locked so I could not use it without getting staff assistance. I might stay here again, but I will want to vet the room closely.

It's popular for foreigners. Parking space may be available for 5 or 6 cars... It's near the local market. No breakfast included, the room fee may vary. My room is 20$ per night

Seng Hout Hotel has expanded considerably and now has 2 buildings. Safety is slightly compromised as there is now an outdoor walkway along the windows of many rooms, with some of these windows unable to fully close/ lock - though there was no actual safety incident during our stay. Amenities and cleanliness are minimal but functional. Staff struggle somewhat with simple requests such as top up of toilet paper or additional blankets (the blanket is smaller than the bed so can be challenging to share in double beds - but additional is not available). Nonetheless, functional and comfortable stay for the price.

The facts: we looked at several rooms before picking 3 rooms for 6 people. we had bed bugs and bed bug bites on our bodies. Some rooms have ants all over the room. In some rooms, the AC didn't work. The AC has black mold in other rooms. The walls had blood spots and dead bugs. The toilet seat is broken in one room. The pictures don't show how the place really looks. They sell furniture in the lobby. The roof is not appealing. The pool seems ok. I would never stay there again. The manager didn't care about our complaint and we did not get any refund. The beds don't have proper linen. Overall, the rooms seem dirty when I look at the walls more closely. The bug and mold issue is a health issue for me.
