Awesome chicken, prefect to share with 3 people (the whole chicken). The staff is nice and efficient, our food came super quickly. The sides along the chicken are super good as well, I recommend the mash sweet potatoes and the coleslaw, very good and close to the taste from the USA. located in a living area, very good before a night out.

Very delicious roasted chicken. However the star of the dishes are the sauces they offer on the side. That chimichurri sauce is da boss. And the cilantro garlic rice is a good side dish as well. The atmosphere is pretty laidback and casual, great place for some drinks and food with friends.

Good vibes is one way to describe Señor Pollo. With its Mexican-inspired interior, it is conveniently located in Poblacion - a stone throw away from the Makati business district. . Their Señor Pollo Roast Chicken is truly their specialty and is best paired with their equally tasty side dishes from which the Patatas Bravas (chili potato marbles, P85 as solo order), Mac ‘N’ Cheese (P69 as solo order), and the French Fries (P59 as solo order) stand out. The chicken has the perfect smoky and a bit spicy taste, its meat tender and juicy (P235 for a quarter with two sides; P709 for a whole chicken with four sides). . It’s best paired with their new Nestlé mixes among which the Buko-Melon shake and the Buko Coquito stand out.

Nachos and quesadilla were good. Their grilled chicken was bland, a disappointing main dish. Service is slow, staffs are in one corner not minding guest needs.

Señor Pollo Roast half Mine was barely lukewarm but it was a big serving of delicious chicken with 3 good dips. Mac 'N' Cheese Creamy. I loved it and craved for more! Patatas Bravas They were heavy on the tummy! I was very satisfied with the taste. Cheese & Garlic Quesadillas It's not so bad. Having said that, I'll try other stuff. (50% off via Eatitgo)

Señor Pollo has always been my favorite restaurant in Poblacion since I learned about it in 2018. Whenever someone asks me about where they can eat good chicken in the area, I always recommend Señor Pollo. My go to order here is their roasted chicken with 2 sides. In the picture is half roasted chicken with spicy rice, coleslaw, patatas bravas, and mac and cheese as sides. The chicken is also served with chimichurri and their amazing spicy sauce (it's really spicy not even kidding). Every bite tastes like celebration in your mouth. Anyway, if you're craving for some good chicken dish, Señor Pollo is the place to go. P.S. Zomato gold is also available offering 1+1 food so we got our orders at 50% off!! Such a bargain!!

Ordered delivery via Food Panda today. Roast chicken is supposed to be their specialty and yet my delivery arrived not well cooked and still bloody. I'm furious. Called them up and shouted at this Ronald guy (i think he is the Manager). He said he will replace it within 30mins, you got 9 mins left on your promised. My place is just a couple of blocks aways. Will I received the half chicken as promised and Will the chicken be well cooked... Stay tune for updates. UPDATE: 30 mins exceeded. Ronald's reason... The first guy that delivered the replacement chicken didnt carry ant valid ID to be allowed to enter my building. The replacement arrived 5 mins late. Now the chicken.. well cooked inside but the wing of my half chicken is charcoal burnt... Bye bye salmonella, Hello, cancer. But Better than the first. By the way, this is my first time to try their food... I guess, I would have to stick to Andoks... A much reliable source of well-cooked, safe-to-eat roast chicken in Burgos/Poblacion area

Google
The place has an interesting theme and the place is carefully decorated to match it. The music is okay and you can hold comfortable chatter in the place. Staff are very quick in taking and processing orders. Food servings are good and matches the price. I recommend their chicken quesadillas. The serve alcoholic drinks but the place is located within the drinking places of Makati.

Yelp
On one of my last nights in Manila, I was looking for a straightforward place to meet up with some friends for an evening of eating, drinking, and laughter. Senor Pollo filled that bill perfectly. Tip: This is a very popular venue. The crowd is comprised mostly of twenty-somethings and foreigners (like moi!); if such things don't deter you, it's virtually impossible not to enjoy the excellent food, strong drinks and convivial vibe. Given Senor Pollo's reputation, it was a foregone conclusion that the food ordered by my friends and I that evening would contain several chicken selections. While the chicken here isn't quite as good as the original pollo loco, it's still completely legit ;-) Another of my favorites here are the quesadillas. Additionally, they have several very popular non-Mexican items, including fries and Buffalo wings. While the food selections are spot on, it's the drinks that make this place so popular. All the cocktails, whether they're pink and fruity or uber-Manly, have a kick stronger than a mule; no worries about excess sobriety when you're here ;-) About the only thing lacking here are hangover ready-made hangover cures; maybe they'll address that lack when next I'm in the Philippines :-)

Yelp
Being someone who's not very fond of chicken, I set my expectations really low for Senor Pollo. It was my first time to try Latin chicken, and honestly, I didn't know what to expect. It was a cool, humid night, but it was terribly hot inside the restaurant. The place is al fresco, and ventilation clearly has to be improved. There were two of us, and we got a half roast chicken that went with two side dishes. The serving size was just right, but it might not be enough for two incredibly hungry people. Lol. The chicken was surprisingly tender and juicy all throughout. And I loved it even more with tons of garlic sauce! It was awesome, I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Their signature roasted chicken is flavorful! It's also served with tortillas and salsa. Love it!

Yelp
This is my go-to place for simple but delicious chicken meals. The ambience is cool and pretty much everything on the menu is good. Aside from the chicken (fried or roasted) they also serve Mexican and Latin dishes like quesadillas, roast pork and beans. The portions are pretty average and you can get full with their chicken combos for less than P200 - a bargain! I usually order fried chicken with beans and patatas bravas and the chicken quesadillas. The quesadillas are served with a really nice, garlicky mayo and homemade salsa that really balances the dish out. Sometimes I'll order the roast chicken which comes with chimichurri sauce that's really good too. It can get busy at dinnertime especially on weekends. I advise you to go early or lunchtime (always easy to get a table at lunch for some reason). The crowd can sometimes last late into the night.

Yelp
If you've done your homework, then you know that this place serves good food. You might also know that Senor Pollo is owned by the same group as El Chupacabra, which is literally a block away, and the ubiquitous Mexicali, which can be found in almost every mall in the Metro. What you might not know, and what I'm here to share with you as my two favorite things about Makati's Senor Pollo, is (1) there's one wall that's decorated with a floor-to-ceiling mural of a quote from Gabriel Garcia Marquez's "Love in the Time of Cholera", and (2) their bathroom is decorated with jungle-themed murals done with neon paint that becomes totally psychedelic when you turn on the light, which (surprise! surprise!) uses a UV light instead of a regular bulb. It's like taking a piss while having a really bad acid trip while a David Attenborough documentary plays in the background. Also, for those following my reviews, this is one of the best places to get good Spanish rice. So get on that.

Yelp
My new favorite place for dinner and drinks in Makati is Senor Pollo! If you haven't been you're in for a cool, new experience! This super casual, laid back, Latina-vibed restaurant is the latest go-to in the Burgos Area. In what seems to be an old garage, the music and the atmosphere come to life and draw you in to check it out. With a pretty simple menu and as their name states, they're all about the chicken! The roast one is a classic, but i prefer the spicy fried chicken (warning, extra hot!!). I love a good fried chicken (this is not as simple as it sounds!!) and the guys behind Senor Pollo know their stuff cause it's pretty damn good. Oh and their bar chow is also super delicious... WAGYU BACON FRIES, don't ask, just order. They've got reasonably priced drinks, my guy friends don't mind hanging out here because the beer isn't over priced! Their cocktails are good too, yes, me and my mojitos! PS, go check out the toilets, you'll probably snap chat it. (surprise, surprise!)

Yelp
Consistency is one of the keys to making an okay resto turn good. Basing this review of today's first time visit to their Makati location. First off the bat, their customer service was on point. I order my usual Quarter Roast and went for the must Plantains, and their Sweet Potato Mash. As they were bringing the food in, they apparently got me their Garlic Mash. Told the waiter about the mix up; he quickly acknowledged; and got the right version fired up right away--without any quips. That alone is nice to experience as most dining places in Manila would probably give you a hard time and not own up to it. Moving on, the interiors to the place is lined up with graffiti. Although nice, I like the crispier details in their F7 Scout Rallos location. Still, it makes the place lively and unique. Check out the restrooms too--they got black lights on to light up the art pieces there. As for the food, it's good. One of the best roasted chickens in the Metro--juicy and flavorful. Whatever you decide to get, be sure to get a side of their Plantains. It can act as a flavor change during your meal, or dessert. The only sad part of today's visit was probably the Sweet Potato Mash. It wasn't quite what I remembered it to be. It seems like they have put too much cream that it drowned out that Sweet Potato taste. Regarding parking. There's an open lot across the street but I'm pretty sure this area really gets busy on any non-Sunday nights; it, being close to El Chupacabra and other good in-the-wall food joints. Other than that, nice lighting as the place is al fresco with a decent amount of sunlight. Sit near a fan if it's hot out as there's no AC. \m/

Yelp
I've 0robxbly offended the chicken gods by not ordering any chicken when I visited Senor Pollo, but sometimes you're just in the mood for some lechon and nothing else will do. Senor Pollo is a relaxed, casual place to get some delicious fried and roasted food of various types, most notable of course chicken. They're straightforward dishes but done well and when paired with a Red Horse can make for an enjoyable evening. I'd definitely come back to try more of their chicken-centric menu items, but I was also very happy with my lechon and rice snack.

Yelp
What's not to love about Señor Pollo? The food is amazing, the ambiance is nice and relaxed, and their Makati branch is right at the center of the emerging Poblacion food scene. The price range is a bit on the expensive side, but you do get a good-sized serving of chicken for it, so it's all good. Oh God, their chicken, they do it right. We're seeing a lot of Portuguese/Latin chicken joints popping up all over the place, but Señor Pollo does it sooooo right. Rich and succulent chicken, seasoned to perfection, and cooked just right... what more can you ask for? Their sidings are the bomb as well. Señor Pollo occupies a rather generous space at the ground floor of the Lokal Hostel, and every square inch is used well. This is a good place to come in for a generous dinner with the boys (or girls), get a few beers in, and detox from the week that was. Do check it out.

Yelp
You better not leave Señor Pollo without trying of course their pollo! A Señor Pollo Roast with 2 Sides is just P209. But if you want to taste it in its full glory, you can have it for P129. I like coming here in the afternoon when there are lesser people. I think it's nicer in the day where it's really vibrant. They really tried to make it very Latin American naming the countries that comprise it and anything that symbolises them through a graffiti wall. What a nice touch! It has also become a go-to drinking spot in Williamsburgos. Drinking at Señor Pollo is cheaper. Local beers start at P45. While cocktails such as Cuba Libre start at P100. If you do come back to Señor Pollo, my guess is that you're in it for the food. Right? Riiiiight?

Yelp
Growing up in Florida, I've had some of the best foods in influenced by nearly every country in South America, Mexico and the Caribbean. Señor Pollo does a very good job channeling these flavors while still adding a Filipino touch to their food. I know it's super overused, but I would consider it fusion. My favorite thing to get is the quarter chicken with two sides! The sweet potato mash, mac n' cheese, and spicy rice are must-trys, for sure. I've also had the pork belly (liempo) with adobo rice which was very tasty, but for the price it was at (259, I believe) there's a lot of other places in the Metro where you can get something comparable for a better price. They also have really good Happy Hour specials if you're trying to decompress a little after dinner. The ambiance if very intimate, if not a bit cramped. Be prepared to wait for your table if you're coming in for lunch! Come with friends too. The restaurant is made for that kind of vibe. The building it's at, F7 is a pretty cool foodie complex. Check out what else is around.

Yelp
This time of visit, I felt the quality of food obviously decreased. The service was not as attentive as before; time to serve is much longer as well. I wonder if it's related to the new branch opening so the kitchen is under crew. Would like to find other options for gril chicken, unfortunately!

Yelp
Best chicken in town....I stayed in Makati 2 years ago and eat there almost everyday!!! Legit one of the best chickens I've ever eaten!!

Yelp
We always say that Makati is expensive, but how expensive is "expensive"? And what is the cap that determines the so-called value for money? I think that, like most of you my dear readers, I would readily pay for something even if it's a bit pricey so long as the quality and the satisfaction is guaranteed. Where i'm going with this has something to do with the price points of Señor Pollo, easily my most favorite restaurant in Makati. I am down with really down-to-earth food as I am what you may consider a low-maintenance and no frills kinda guy, so Señor Pollo is just my type of food. I was talking about price points earlier, and considering that the place is smack in the middle of Makati's red light district, Señor Pollo is surprisingly inexpensive. In fact, for the price similar to what you would usually pay at more high-end fastfood or chain restaurants in the mall, you can have some seriously good chicken and fixings for a filling and hearty dinner. I'm not even supposed to be eating this stuff because I have sworn to the benefits of a vegetarian diet, but sometimes, I really can't help but treat myself to a cut of tender white meat. The chicken at Señor Pollo is great, and rightly so, because it would be a shame for a "pollo" (lit. chicken in Spanish) restaurant to suck at it. Their roast and fried chicken dishes are so tasty I don't even feel guilty "cheating" on my veg diet with them. For a little over P250 per person for a 1/4 chicken with 2 sides, this is quite a steal if you're looking for a "busog" dinner in Makati. The savory meat is best when coupled with their chimichurri, which is honestly the best thing since sliced bread. Also great when enjoyed with Brew Kettle, my new favorite beer. We have established how good the chicken is. Now let's talk about the side dishes. I just love the diversity of the Latin American-inspired sides that they offer. My favorite contenders are the patatas bravas, the Latin coleslaw, the jalapeno mac 'n' cheese and the Colombian refried beans. Mmmm my mouth is watering just thinking about it. You will find that this place is always crowded, so always come early (or later) to avoid the dinner rush. The place has a very open, un-airconditioned dining area - smoking is allowed inside. Watch your stuff, as this might be where my friend got her phone stolen the last time. The place gets super jampacked, noisy (good Latin music) and hopping you won't notice your stuff getting jacked.

Yelp
I've long said goodbye to red meat and pork so chicken has been my source of excitement. So yes, my radar is always on for the next best chicken discovery. This one is it!! Señor Pollo's speciality is their really good roast chicken which I absolutely loooove. But what makes my heart skip a beat would be their chicken sisig!!! Perfect with their coleslaw and corn and everything because everything is good (and I'm a glutton). The order some drinks (Don Papa is my fiancé's favorite), wait for your chicken bonanza, dish out those stories and get ready to have a good, good night, Señor!

Yelp
My verdict: delicious and amazing! I actually had to get mine from Food Panda. I have to say props to Food Panda because when they said that the deliver time was 45 minutes, the food came exactly 45 minutes, VERY PROMPT! Actually, it was my first time to try Señor Pollo, I've been wanting to try it for awhile because I heard amazing reviews and they never ever lie! I got a whole roast chicken with fried plantains, two cups of cilantro rice and Colombian beans (for my mom and her love for all beans!). The chicken was very well seasoned but the chicken skin was too salty (but hey, it's better than having no flavor at all); it's also tender (especially the breast part was tender, I'm impressed!), juicy and it has a smoky flavor too, which was unique! The rice was alright; the beans, they're for my mom to judge. But the sauces?! Yummerz! The garlic sauce was a little bland but it would really compliment the salty chicken skin, the spicy red sauce was way too spicy, which I really loved (though I must say some might not be able to take it well) and the Chimichurri sauce is a little too oily but it has a nice flavor to it. Overall, this was a very nice chicken dinner that will bring me and my family back for more! Yay for chicken!!! If I could give it a four and a half stars, sure but Yelp's kinda precise with the rating-o-meter.

Yelp
Señor Pollo has always had a place in my heart ever since it started out as a hole-in-the-wall on Tomas Morato. Its new branch in Makati, located almost parallel to El Chupacabra, boasts of an open-air space that is larger, and more conducive to hanging out with a few bottles of cerveza in hand to go with your chicken platter. Sometimes, they even have blues nights, with performers like Hoochie Coochie Mikkie coming in. The art on the walls is fantastic and thought-provoking, and the bathroom, decked out with blacklights and a great mural, is definitely worthy of a selfie (or two). Food-wise, I haven't been disappointed yet, and I love coming back here every time I'm in Makati.

Yelp
I love hanging out in Señor Pollo. Located in the hip and trendy Poblacion neighborhood, it's got a cool, unfussy vibe that attracts a lot of visitors. The food is also very good. They serve mostly Mexican-style roasted chicken in quarter, half or whole serving portions. You can also choose from a number of interesting sides available. For me, their standout sides are the Spicy Rice, Latin Coleslaw and Colombian Beans. The chicken itself is also really good, very juicy and flavorful. If you're not in the mood to gnaw on some chicken bones, they've also got some snacks like the pork sisig or quesadillas that come with different fillings like cheese and garlic, jalapeno and cheese and of course, grilled chicken. The restaurant is also a good place to drink. They've got interesting Latin-style cocktails like the Cubra Libre and Latin Punch, a wine list, the usual local beers and Corona, and tequila, of course.

Yelp
When my friend brought my to Señor Pollo, I was pleasantly surprised. Casual and laid-back, with its Latina-vibe, vibrant interiors, the overall feel of the place draws you right in. I was worried about it being as fresco (because the heat has been crazy lately), but I didn't feel hot, so maybe the best time to eat there would be 6PM onwards. My friend who swears by Señor Pollo ordered for me. I ended up with their quarter chicken with two sides: Spicy rice and Jalapeño Mac and Cheese, and this was all for P209! Pretty reasonable, and delicious too! Their chicken is tasty, and the sides my friend ordered for me complemented them perfectly. There are quite a number of sides to choose from, and I can't wait to come back and try the others. If you're planning to drink after, they have wine, beer and booze (Margaritas, tequila shots, mojitos, and the like). Señor Pollo is a great place to chill, while chowing on some pretty solid chicken, downing their booze, and at reasonable prices too!

Yelp
It's a pretty special thing that I feature Senior Pollo as my first review on Yelp, but that just speaks volume to how bright this place stands out compared to its competitors. Although most people decide to stop by and try the restaurant for the first time, thanks in large part for its interesting graffiti art, its reputation for sumptuous and healthy roast chicken was a big part why I decided to try it for the first time and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend you try its quarter roast chicken (The Senior Pollo) with a couple of sides, the best ones being its chimichuri, Latin Rice, beans. Although its baked Mac'n Cheese, coleslaw and baby potatoes don't make a bad choice either! The time it takes for the food to get to you may not be the quickest, but its servers are generally accommodating and I think that makes fair compensation. Also, you'd be in for some eye candy when you step inside its restroom (Its best experienced after a couple of beers most especially!!), and that in itself was a unique experience! Senior Pollo makes a great place to dine and drink because of its youthful vibe, scrumptious special roast chicken & condiments, unique restrooms and location. A definite must try on everyone's list when you drop by Makati.

Yelp
A staple favorite in my rotation of restaurants to eat at, Senor Pollo is good old comfort food to satisfy any chicken craving. Although their menu is quite limited, everything that they serve is outstanding. Senor Pollo, serves Latin style chicken, creating fun twist to the regular roast chicken that you can find anywhere in the city. Their chimichurri, combined with the garlic yogurt and chili sauce is the perfect combination to any of their dishes. Their Makati branch is quite popular amongst backpackers as there has been a boom of hostels within the area. It has a cool bohemian vibe, giving out the perfect ambiance for a cool and chilled out meal. I love ordering the regular chicken, with the spicy rice and fried plantains

Yelp
Good food and drinks can be found on a little back street in Makati. I had the 1/4 chicken , mash sweet potatoes, spiced rice all seasoned well and flavorful, my negative comment would be everything was served barely above room temperature and I would have like my chicken skin cook a bit on the crisper side vs the rubbery, room temperature one I got. With that said still worth a try.
google avatar

Andy M.

Yelp
I would give the quarter Chicken a 5, the mojito a 3, the flan a 3, the potato side a 4 and the Mac and cheese a 1. Overall I would return. The chicken was very good.

Leandro L.

Yelp
Senor Pollo's chicken is good old comfort food set up by the guys behind El Chuppacabra. Senor Pollo is okay. The food is good but nothing to blow your mind. It's good old comfort food that will get you full and satisfied. The chicken is big and meaty and comes with some chimichurri. It's good for sharing and comes with side dishes you can choose from. The chimichurri they have here is a nice salty compliment to the roast chicken and goes well with their garlic yogurt sauce. The place is al fresco and has some fans so best to come around dinner time. I'd go back to Senor Pollo and wouldn't mind eating there if someone suggested it to me. It's a nice hip place with good food that's value for money and good for sharing. They have good chicken, good quesadillas, good sides, big servings, and their chimichurri together with their garlic yogurt sauce is certainly a nice compliment to their chicken.

Yelp
My go-to order in Señor Pollo would be their Señor Pollo Roast Chicken. I get the half chicken for Php 309 with two sides and share this with my boyfriend. That's only around Php 150 each! I like to mix three sauces for my chicken: the hot sauce (red), the white sauce, and chimichurri. For sides, you have to get the spicy rice! Sweet potato mash is a good side dish too. If roast chicken is not your thing, try their Spicy Fried Chicken! It tastes like spicy country style fried chicken with super crunchy chicken skin. My last favorite dish would have to be the Wagyu Bacon Fries. This is perfect for a midnight snack (if you want to pig out; bad, if you want to diet) or something to snack on whilst drinking with friends. It's basically a pile of fries with wagyu bacon strips sprinkled all over. Yum.

Yelp
Señor Pollo started out on one of the sidestreets of Tomas Morato, a little hole in the wall serving Latin-inspired chicken dishes and alcoholic beverages. The taste of its yummy grilled chicken, spicy fried rice and Don Papa cuba libre made the restaurant so popular and successful that they ended up expanding to a location in the heart of the Makati red-light district, Burgos. And the Burgos venture is the joint I frequent the most cause of its much more airy and festive ambiance. Burgos is slowly shedding off its only-for-tourists-who-want-some-action-if-you-know-what-I-mean vibe and becoming a truly legit place for a gimmick. It's a great restobar to take balikbayans and foreign tourists out for dinner and a round of drinks on a Friday night. It can get pretty hard to find parking because of the narrow streets (I usually just park along Kalayaan road and take a short trek there) but the place is totally worth it.
