Sensational Heights Bed & Breakfast

A home away from home. Thank you Terri and David for the most relaxing stay, helping us to recharge our batteries, it was so lovely to meet you both. Incredibly comfortable rooms, stunning views, loved walking around the farm seeing the animals and all the fresh produce. And the breakfast was delicious! We wish we had booked longer. We look forward to coming back with our family from the UK.

Amazing!! the location is really beautiful and the hosts are soo nice. We felt like we were with family there even though we are thousands of km away from home. The rooms were very clean and nice, we had nice view and the breakfast was the best we had in west australia. I recommend this accomodation 200%. It s also close to the wineries and other tasting farms. Also, the sunset is incredible from there.

We have not found a better BnB in Western Australia. The location is stunning with majestic views all round. The hosts are perfect for a BnB - friendly and salt of the earth folk. Terry welcomed us with laughter and a chat, and David cooked us breakfast. And what a breakfast from someone who has not had any cooking lessons. the rooms and ensuite are first class and the general lounge very welcoming. Will be recommending this place to all our friends and acquaintances.

A beautiful place to spend time. Terri and David make you feel very welcome in these peaceful surroundings. Excellent breakfast, comfortable rooms and great conversations to be had with this interesting couple when they discuss their farming background.

Ok so probably of all the reviews I have ever written, and there have been many, this is probably the most difficult as I know what I say will be difficult for Terri and David to take. The owners are really nice, good people who love nothing more than to chat and swap stories. They are welcoming and friendly and from the reviews you will read on TripAdvisor and in the comment books in their rooms appear to run an exceptional property. Unfortunately this is where our experience differs from those reviews. We were in room 3 - a large room with windows giving great views over the surrounding countryside and superb sunsets which it would have been great to take in except that all that was available were 2 old plastic chairs stuck outside the room with no shade which were not appealing at all - such a waste. The room itself was basic and had little character. Be aware that housekeeping is not done, or at least wasn't during our 3 nights and although at 1 point I asked for the bins (which are exceptionally small) to be emptied all the used tea bags in the bowl provided were left as were the dirty dishes. I realise that some establishments do state that they do little or no housekeeping but when on holiday and paying a very decent rate for accommodation I do expect some form of this to be done. The owners, as they took great justifiable pleasure in telling us, grow much of their own vegetables and fruit which we thought might be reflected in the breakfast provided but again unfortunately not - fruit were 3 small slices in yoghurt in the bottom of a small ramekin hardly enough to last more than 2 small spoonfuls. Breakfast is regarded by the reviewers as a superb meal but we found it was fairly sparse and certainly not up to standards within other 'sensational' establishments. A final issue as I don't really want to labour this review was the open area outside our room which from the website pictures looks superb but in reality is a collection of mismatched furniture in poor state of repair and not appealing to use. So why the great reviews and then this one ? Can't answer that I have no axe to grind not related to any other local properties just felt that we chose this due to reviews and pictures and felt so disappointed when the reality did not reflect the portrayed image. Again sorry Terri & David you are great but seriously your place could be so so much better.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is stunning, with breathtaking views, perfectly located to explore the area. Terri and David are super friendly and amazing hosts, which adds to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the place. Special mention for the delicious and fresh breakfasts. Our room was comfortable, and the spa was a nice bonus. We can only recommend this B&B and are already looking forward to returning!

We stayed here a couple of years ago and decided to try it again this weekend. The room is clean, the bed comfy, the view incredible, the family who run the B & B friendly and the breakfast is amazing. What more could you want? There's nothing else you need in a B & B!
