"Ideal for business travelers with limited time to spare, this is a high-end spa with the level of luxury and sophistication you’d expect from its Rosewood confines. Even though there are 30-minute express treatments ideal for those with limited time, you could spend an entire afternoon here, even if you're only booked for an hour-long massage. Be sure to explore the regionally inspired treatments, including the Desert Rose and the three-hour Arabian Nights package." - Melinda Healy

"What’s the vibe at this place? Ideal for business travelers with limited time, Sense is a high-end spa with the level of luxury and sophistication you’d expect from its Rosewood confines. The suede furnishings and overhead chandelier in the lobby give the space refined richness. Take us into the room. How was the session itself? On arrival, guests receive a cup of HIbiscus tea and a refreshing towel. Once the formalities are complete, a friendly therapist guides them into the treatment room. Each of the nine rooms, awash with browns, are dimly lit and minimalist. The signature massage oil is infused with a custom-blend of Arabian botanicals of frankincense and Oud, and its scent fills the space. What about after the treatment? Post treatment, visit the lounge for some Jasmine tea and serious quietude. The spa uses products from Maison Caulières, Natura Bissé, and Aromatherapy Associates, as well as more house-blended oils. What do they do best here, then? And how can we make sure we get the most out of it? Even though there are 30-minute express treatments ideal for those with limited time, you could spend an entire afternoon here, even if you're only booked for an hour-long massage. Be sure to explore the regionally inspired treatments, including the Desert Rose and the three-hour Arabian Nights package." - Melinda Healy

Artificially Sweet

Google
I booked detoxify facial. When I entered, I was informed by the technician that there will be no steam or pore extraction. So the title of the facial on the website was misleading. I proceeded. It was a beautiful room, super comfortable bed/table. The facial consisted of cleansing, exfoliation, mask, moisturizer- all oil-based. It was very ordinary, something I do at home daily. Between each step, there was a small massage to feet, arms, head which felt amazing. But the facial itself was disappointing. If you’re seeking proper cleansing, this would not be it. If its just pampering urself, its a decent choice.

Bought a signature massage voucher. The process was very smooth and easy! I was at home and the whole process took 5 minutes! I’m impressed with the professionalism and practicality.

While it looks like a very nice spa when you enter, don’t ever buy their gift vouchers because they will take your money and refuse to offer the service saying that the voucher has expired! Mind blowing and terrible customer service to trick people and take money for a service they never offered! Be careful when dealing with them.

I had a lovely experience at Sense Spa. My masseuse Arayana was absolutely wonderful and I never wanted it to end. The facilities were really nice and the atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. Will definitely be getting a massage again next time in staying at Rosewood AD!

A good experience here with their friendly staff. Had the 90 minutes therapeutic massage. Didn’t get a chance to try their spa facilities. Would definitely be back next time. Suggest to use disposable slipper instead of the rubber slipper.

I visited Sense Spa yesterday with my mom. The staff put us at ease from the minute we walked in. We had an amazing and relaxing 60 minutes fusion massage done by Ms. Syntia and Ms. Ronthea. Fab job by these girls! Plus, we got to enjoy the jacuzzi before our treatment. A must visit place to de-stress and relax.

very average to below average. The other reviews here are by local guides - none are actual customers. I stayed at the Rosewood hotel for 3 weeks - excellent hotel. The spa, however, is average and overpriced. Basic services and a small spa area that can service the residences but is not a good spa for outsiders. Reception staff is below average, manipulate you towards their favored masseuse, below average service quality. Recommend that you consider another location unless you're in the hotel and in dire need of some relaxation. There are a number of excellent spas in Abu Dhabi especially in the resorts and at the Park Hyatt, the Mangroves, and the Viceroy in Yas. I've lived here for 4 years and was deeply disappointed in the Sense Spa at the Rosewood.

Really really bad!! The worst facial I’ve ever had!! Despite my horrible experience, they also burned my mother in law’s face!!
