Hotel situated in a beautiful setting by an inlet surrounded by Pine trees - 20 mins walk on a scenic pathway into Vrboska.||The room was basic but clean & functional. Good shower / fresh towels daily etc.||The restaurant had good selection of Salads, Fish, meats, pasta, pizza etc - the sauces were always very tasty! Beer was good quality - the house Red wine initially wasnt good but must have been changed as was ok later in the week. The restaurant can get busy at peak times as buffet area on smaller side - but all worked out with a little patience!||Good value.

Attempting to be constructive I've divided comments into Good, bad and ugly. We were worried about the hotel having read the recent reports so our expectation levels were set low. It was far better than the low bar we were expecting and is a reasonable mid range resort and its location is absolutely stunning. It doesn't live up to it's 4 star billing, but it is comfortable, safe and clean.||The Good: - Fabulous setting, clean rooms, plenty of sunbeds, never an issue finding one in sun or shade. Free use of in-room safe, good housekeeping service. Salads, and the local beer.||The Bad:- Restaurant which is more like a noisy works canteen, regularly running out of cups and glasses, ridiculous coffee machine causing long queues, hot (warm) food limited in choice often not replenished. Red wine awful, although in fairness white wine drinkable. Storage space in rooms extremely limited. Bar near reception not included in all inclusive package. Random air conditioning which did it's own thing regardless of the controls. Hotel does have mini crazy golf - but only seems to own one golf ball.||The Ugly:- Unexpected tax bill presented at departure - unlike other Croatian islands. Sewerage smells often wafting over bar that is included in AI package.

The hotel is beautifully located among trees, right on the seafront. There are no other buildings around, which gives the feeling of being in the wild and creates perfect conditions for relaxation. Despite going in mid-August, the hotel never felt crowded – there were always enough sun loungers available both on the beach and by the pool. The food was varied, nicely presented and everyone could find something to their taste. The wine was delicious. The option of a lunchbox for early departures (before breakfast) is very convenient, although the quality of the lunchbox itself was rather disappointing – a dry roll without butter with ham and cheese (even though I asked for a vegetarian option), a bottle of water and two pieces of fruit. I don’t understand why, if somebody makes a sandwich, it isn’t prepared as if for themselves – tasty and with some vegetables added. It would also be easy to include a croissant – those products are already available at breakfast anyway.The staff were very friendly and helpful – everything we needed could be easily arranged. The only downside was that room service was quite basic – the towels were replaced every day and the beds made, but the rooms themselves were not cleaned. Bed linen was not changed (ours was only changed upon my request). Overall, I would recommend this hotel – I had a very relaxing stay and would love to return one day.

What an amazing find. You can't beat the location, the hotel is set amongst a picturesque shoreline, pine groves, and is very comfortable. It's 80% Croatian, 20% international guests. Great for young families and couples of all ages. Not so great for groups or teenagers. If you want a relaxing holiday, this is it. Only 5% of guests have opted for All-inclusive, so no queues for drinks. Staff have been amazing. From English guest, 40s, size 8.

Very happy that we chose to stay here! We got a free room upgrade, and a beautiful surprise - it was my birthday and they brought a whole cake and a bottle of wine to our room! The food was great, staff very nice, and we enjoyed the beach that is almost at the very doorstep. I hope to return next summer.

The hotel is in a lovely setting and it's easy to walk to the shingle beach which is directly in front.|Its about half an hour walk to Vrboska which can be quite challenging in the heat and dodging the many cyclists and e scooters. Worth the trip though and a very pretty walk.|My room was spacious and clean and I loved my balcony (side sea view). There's a kettle in the room. The air con is difficult to negotiate and we were woken up a few times at 2 or 3 in the morning with it coming back on like a helicopter and beeping even though it was turned off.|The canteen is awful - crowded, bright and very noisy. Pathetic coffee machines resulting in long queues. Its poorly organised with the layout not making sense. Often ran out of cups and glasses. 'Hot' food was often cold or lukewarm and chicken sometimes undercooked. I was a bit wary of some offerings but mostly found something nice to eat The salad bar was good (but the same every day) and there's a variety of fruit. Loads of desserts and an ice cream station. Hot breakfast was usually dreadful - salty, plastic bacon and dried up bits of sausage with lukewarm mushrooms and tomatoes. No egg station so undercooked fried eggs or rubber scrambled. Brown bread usually ran out. But there's a good choice of cold breakfast which I enjoyed. | The reception has a strange, unpleasant smell. Helpful staff - be prepared for the local tax as you check out (big surprise!) €12.60 pppw.|The grounds are beautiful but poorly lit at night with few handrails. The shingle beach is very pretty with plenty of sunbeds available in the grounds and on the beach. There's also a diving school on the complex.|The upper terrace bar is not included in the all inclusive. The lower terrace is a beautiful setting but there's frequent wafts of a sewage smell in the evening. |The pool is lovely with plenty of sunbeds. Pool towels are included and you can change them at reception. |The wi fi is excellent!|All in all it was a very relaxing week (apart from the canteen) in a very pretty setting.

Incredible location. Lots of sun loungers in shade and sun and with amazing views. Nice rooms (yes, there were some stains on carpet, but they were clean, so clearly old ones) and modern, clean bathrooms. Very comfortable beds and bed linen. Aircon worked great and don't have an issue that it stops if you open balcony door (makes sense for the environment). Restaurant was mixed. Food was good - no egg station for breakfast - but good choice otherwise and rarely waiting for top ups and lunch and dinner were fine. Clearly understaffed though so if you go at peak time it's unpleasant - we left and went back later one evening. And it def feels more like a canteen than a restaurant. Wine just about drinkable. If all inclusive then the drinks menu is really limited but probably no different to most places. |This is a family hotel - so photos and descriptions could be misleading. We were there with older children and would've preferred fewer young families as it can be noisy, so just be aware when booking. We had a lovely few days and would've given it 4 stars were is not cut short by the hotel fire, which did highlight the lack of staff and of course H&S (with no smoke alarms operating). This place has huge potential but it just feels as if they have a big hill to climb to get customer confidence back.

Do not stay in this hotel if you have any medical issues or allergies. I work in this area and these are the worst hotels I have ever seen. Unlabeled nut products in the main restaurant. Unlabeled shellfish products. Broken equipment posing a risk to health safety. Utterly terrible food. Stone cold. The staff just throw it all out at once at the beginning so they can clear down and go home. Did I mention that the entire dessert selection on the evening and all of the fruit is absolutely covered, and I mean covered in hundreds of fruit flies crawling all over it? They vomit on the food and carry so much bacteria. And then its recycled at the end of the evening, they throw in some fruit juice and put it back put for breakfast 🤢 (yum) Everything closes at the end of season. No food available between 9am and 7pm. There is loud building work going on during the day under the rooms. The smell of raw sewage near the restaurant on the evenings is grotesque. Basically once the season has ended they want your money but don't care about you or your holiday. Avoid. I have been working in hotels for thirty years and I know what I am talking about. They are making a fool of you with this level of service and facilities for these prices. Much better accomodations available nearby. And if you read this review (written by someone who has worked in hotel and restaurant management for thirty years) and then still book to stay here, they are going to take your money and make a fool of you. So be it. I tried to warn you.
