Whatever bad reviews you see, be sceptical. We have been here for a week with the all inclusive. It has been excellent! Yes the hotel is a little older, only reasom I gave it a 4, the exterior could use some power washing but the rooms are clean and well stocked. There were a few small things that needed attention but the staff quickly responded and made things right. Food is excellent! These are chef prepared meals, fresh and well thought out. The wine and spirit selection was not huge but more than adequate. Premium available at additional cost. All staff were wonderful, all the time. Small hotel, large private rooms, great views, good selection of food and drink served by friendly competent staff… leave tips, they work hard!

We had an amazing stay. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Christian, Pedro, and Danielle made us feel so welcome, and the housekeeping staff kept everything spotless and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and beautifully designed, giving us plenty of room to relax. We especially loved the infinity pool with its breathtaking views and the private beach that felt like our own slice of paradise. On top of that, the food was outstanding, with every meal exceeding our expectations in both flavor and presentation. Overall, it was a perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and warm hospitality, and we left already dreaming about our next visit.

A fantastic place to stay. The room was perfect! Lots of space, very comfortable, and an incredible view of the ocean! The service is exceptional! The food was delicious! The staff went above and beyond! We could not be happier with our stay here. We will absolutely stay here again!

We stayed 5 nights and everything was perfect. I can not say enough about the great room, the great staff and the great pool and beach access. The restaurant was a bit slow but we are not foodies, so eat and go is our style. The pool bar was awesome. We have no need to go back but if we did we would. It is a great little, romantic get away.

We visited Senses for one night only. We enjoyed the proximity to Cirque du Soleil. ||It is difficult to tell from the photos, but the place is very run down and neglected. We had five rooms in total. One had a leaky sink and the counter was all wet, another had plugs that pulled out of the wall. Our tub wouldn't drain. Two of the rooms had patio doors that wouldn't lock. One couple woke up to pipes bursting in the night and being sprinkled with water. The hotel reacted quickly and relocated them to another room. ||The worst part was the restaurant. There were signs up across one of the doors stating that they had received multiple health code violations. We had our breakfast included so we did eat there, despite some hesitation (very few other options in the area). The food was terrible and service was extremely slow. My daughter found plastic in her food. ||Be warned. ||The location is nice and I did enjoy the beach to the left of the hotel. We swam both days we were there and had the beach to ourselves. The other beach, to the right, had many people in the water. We appreciated the quiet and privacy of the beach we chose.

My husband and I absolutely loved this resort! The staff is super friendly and they get to know you on a personal level. Christian and Pedro are absolute sweethearts and made our stay even more enjoyable! The Resort’s Hospitality was absolutely fantastic, 10/10 recommend this resort!

The best part of Senses Riviera Maya is without a doubt the staff—the owner is fortunate to have such an incredible team! With strong competition from surrounding luxury resorts, the level of service here really stands out. Huge thanks to Christian, Santiago, Sr. Pedro, Thomas, Sofia, Victoria, Isabel, Guadalupe, and others—you all make this hotel worth visiting. Honestly, you’re the reason this place stays open! The hotel itself has everything it needs to be great, but it does need some improvements. The infinity pool is stunning, but the surrounding common areas are showing weak—tiles that are coming loose, some wood is falling apart, and the pool restaurant could definitely use a makeover. Breakfast at The Blend is good, and I like that the menu changes daily, but the flavor can be hit-or-miss. More Americanized than Mexican in terms of flavor! But in there, you have the BEST waitress, Christian, who does everything in his power to please the guests, and this meant a lot to us! I recommend you go for breakfast and dinner! On the other hand, the pool restaurant might not look appealing, but the food there is consistently fantastic. I recommend you go for lunch! The beachfront is not really usable since it’s full of rocks, so you’ll need to walk to a neighboring property to enjoy the ocean. Also, the location is quite isolated—nothing is nearby, and you’ll spend a lot on taxis. Even a small shop with basic water, snacks, and some souvenirs would make a big difference, but for now, there’s only a very limited vending machine. If you’re looking for peace and isolation, this is the right place. Otherwise, expect to travel at least 20- 30 minutes for attractions. On the positive side, the front desk service is excellent—they go above and beyond to make sure you have all the information you need. The rooms are modern, stylish, and all oceanfront, with stunning balconies that make the stay memorable. Overall, this hotel has huge potential. With investment in updates to the common areas, it could truly shine. But until then, the staff are the ones keeping the magic alive. Please, owners—take care of your employees, because they’re the reason people leave good reviews. Thank you, Senses team!

The hotel is small and quite perfect for couples. The service was fantastic shoutout to Christian our waiter and bartender and all his staff. We never went without. Food was great and perfect presentation and portions. Housekeeping and front end staff were excellent as well.
