This is such a lovely resort, we have stayed here many times. The staff are all really friendly. We stayed in a romantic bungalow, which had lovely view over the sea. Yes there is a lot of steps, especially if you are in one of the seaview bungalows but for us that was fine, good exercise 😀 We had dinner in the restaurant and it was lovely, reasonable priced. They do great cocktails as well.

Rooms are fantastic, the non sea view rooms are bigger vs the sea room bungalow, 45m2 vs 40m2 - we much preferred the extra space. Breakfast was very, very poor. The food was cold and very little choice. After the first morning we went to all the local cafes instead (coconut cafe is a 5min walk away). We didn't get told much at check in and had to ask other guests for our way around the resort - it has lots of paths and it's quite hilly.

Staff are lovely, nice restaurant and gold breakfast. Good location close to some bars and gold options in Mae Haad Downsides are the rooms are seriously dated, the rock hard bed and day furniture so there was basically nowhere comfortable at all. After 4 nights my entire body is so stiff and it's hard to walk (and unfortunately the resort is on a hill side, so LOTS of walking) also the pool bar is never staffed despite heaps of staff hanging around the restaurant during the day doing not much If the beds weren't so completely terrible this place would be great, but I couldn't recommend it as it is now

A good hotel that is value for money. It provides lovely staff, cute villa in nature, access to beach and pool, good food at restaurant for cheap price and close to everything. Only problem was the noise, it travels over the water from the bars in the centre so we didn't sleep very well unfortunately.

The reason for our trip was for our honeymoon, unfortunately, after a HORRIFIC ferry ride (traveling in the middle of a storm and over 30 people vomiting at the same time). My wife, who suffers from a herniated disc, had a lot of complications getting to the hotel, as she has a hard time going up and down stairs and the hotel is full of stairs.... The bed is the same as lying on the floor, the hotel does not have thick curtains, so at night the light does not stop coming in and to top it off, a party outside the hotel did not let us sleep until 4 in the morning. Thanks to all these problems, we had no choice but to cancel our trip, so we had to leave after 1 night of staying at this hotel. We told the hotel staff that due to safety and health issues, it would not be possible for us to continue with our stay, so they told us that if we wanted to cancel our reservation, it would have to be directly with booking, so we contacted customer service, who assured us that we would get back a part of our money which we could not afford to waste, finally after 5 days of not knowing anything about this hotel, the hotel told us that they would not give us any refund, even when the stay in their facilities aggravated the health situation of my wife. While the front desk staff was super nice to us, the person who runs this hotel and the person responsible for handling reservations has no compassion whatsoever. Of the 4 nights we booked, we only “slept” 1, and the hotel kept taking into account our reservation as if we were taking advantage of the facilities while we were living a real hell. We were so desperate to leave that we didn't even want to eat the included breakfast.

We had a beautiful 6 night stay at this resort. We had a delux hut which was spacious and comfortable. Fresh towels were delivered everyday and sand swept out of the room. The location is good if you want a quieter place, but still want to be able to walk into town. It took about 30 minutes to get to the busy bit of Sairee Beach from the hotel, with a couple of steep sections of road to navigate. It was perfect for us as we wanted relaxation during the day but busier places in the evening. The hotel has a private beach which is beautiful. You can snorkel around a really amazing wreck just off the hotel beach. Massage is available and was great, laundry service efficient and transfers to the pier available for free!

Simple, rustic, but beautiful and unbeatable place to stay in koh tao. Our romantic bungalow looked out over the water and was so private. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. On-site restaurant provided great breakfast options every day right by the water. Great options for lunch & dinner, drinks too, so good being right by the water. Lovely warm and kind service. Clean, calm beach, enjoyed the convenience of scooters for hire. Cooking classes on offer. Day beds. Two great pools. We loved every second at Sensi and would definitely come back.

The location of this hotel is fantastic and we loved our room’s big terrace with the amazing sea view. Being surrounded by nature was great. Renting bikes from the hotel made getting around easy. The pool was pretty nice too. But the service…not so great. The cleaning of our room wasn’t done before 3 pm, which was inconvenient. Breakfast was the same everyday. The staff at breakfast and around the pool were loud and not very polite. There’s no telephone in the room, so you have to walk all the way to the lobby if you need anything. Since the hotel is huge, with rooms spread out across the property, this can be quite annoying. Being close to the pier, there can be some noise from boats, especially when party boats stop right in front of the hotel. Also, the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. For the price, I think you can find better places with better service and more breakfast variety.
