Sensorio

Sensorio was an absolutely beautiful and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtfully designed and well organized. We went around sunset, which I’d highly recommend, because you get to see the space transform from natural light into a completely immersive world of colors and lights. Walking through the installations felt calm, surreal, and almost meditative — it’s the kind of experience where you naturally slow down and just take everything in. The light displays are incredibly creative and spread out nicely, so it never felt rushed or overcrowded. Each section feels unique, and the way the lights blend with the landscape makes it feel very natural rather than overdone. The pathways are easy to walk, clearly marked, and well maintained, which makes the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. One thing that really added to the experience was being able to enjoy their cider and drinks while walking around. It was a nice touch and made the evening feel even more relaxed and enjoyable, especially as the lights came on after dark. This is a great spot for a relaxed evening, whether you’re visiting with friends, family, or on a date. It’s also very photo-friendly without feeling like it’s only meant for pictures. Parking and entry were straightforward, and staff were helpful and polite throughout. Overall, Sensorio is one of those experiences that feels genuinely worth the time and cost.

I had my wedding here on New Year's Eve! Sensorio closed to the general public because of the rain. What we thought would be a mess with guests already planned, the staff quickly put our nerves at ease. I can't thank this staff that worked this night enough! Very easy to talk to, very accommodating and understanding, helpful to a T! It was everything we wanted it to be! Yes, it rained on our wedding ceremony and it was still perfect! We were able to move the reception inside for our intimate venue of 25. The food was amazing! We got several compliments from our guests about the food and service. We had a special escorted walk through all the lighted art displays. The sprinkles of rain though out did not matter one bit! Just as beautiful and magical! This place is a must see! Went on a date night with my wife and we both enjoyed what we got to see/experience. Just wished they had more food options. Other than that, it's something to see/experience in person. Highly recommend.

Sensorio is the most amazing play with your senses. We went immediately after the storm in Dec. it started in the parking lot itself. The night was clear and extremely cold but we were prepared with our jackets, hats and scarves. We also had rain boots on just in case. The pictures will speak to you. It was the most spectacular night. And Paso Robles’s restaurant didn’t disappoint either. I would recommend Paso Robles to anyone looking for a quick weekend getaway.

Really cool experience. I went during a colder time of year but it was still nice. Lots of parking and easy to get to. They have a really cool place to get drinks and food. A few food trucks there too. Next to the main building there’s places to sit and sometimes they’ll have someone performing on the stage. The lights are amazing at night. There’s a few areas besides the light flowers that you can see. It was so cool and fun to just go see. I think it’s a cool date spot. Can also get some drinks there and walk around. Overall a cool place to go and I definitely recommend the trip

Sensorio is a vibrant and beautiful art exhibit! It lacks a storyline, but it is an immersive journey. The field of lights is just the beginning, then you expand on into towers made from wine bottles, colorful mushroom-like glowing structures with awesome music that sounds like a theme park score!:) Then...you walk the path through these cool walls, and then..you are in dimensions. Oh my gosh, once you enter Dimensions..everything changes. Spinning crystal structures, mini huts built out of lights, and the centerpiece which contains a towering crystaline castle that must be made out of shards from numerous realities! So awesome!

Been to this place a few times. Easy walking trails and there is always something a bit new. If you like lights and experience and exploring, this is your place. If you want the full experience get a terrace experience where there are fire places overlooking the venue. Pretty cool if it’s a cool evening. Remember layers for dressing as it can be warm when you get there and chilly when you leave.

What a beautiful display of lights. Although it was quite cold when we went, I can imagine how lovely it would be sitting out on the fields with a nice cold drink on a warm summer night. Go right before the sun sets and you can watch the lights go from dim to bright. There is a bar and some stands throughout the displays that sell drinks. There was only 1 food stand in the main bar area and it is quite pricey, so I would skip it unless you ate starving. I definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area. The only minus is the $$$.

The service was really good! The feel of nighttime and lights was beautiful! And so was everything else, and even though we spent around 2 hours or so it felt like only 40 minutes because of how fun it was!!! It was like being in a colorful glowing dream. I rate this an overall 10/10

We had an absolutely amazing time at Sensorio! First, the lights in the parking lot CHANGE COLORS On entry everyone was welcoming and hospitable. As we approached the food court area we realized the music we were hearing was live! An added bonus! Really good music by a trio including piano, bass and drums! We purchased a glass of wine to stroll with and headed to see the most spectacular light/art exhibition! The entire space was a sensory delight! Bruce Munro is a gifted artist with amazing vision. The way the lights play with the shadows of oak trees and stars above is nothing short of magical. BUY THE ALL ACCESS TICKETS!!!! I felt bad for families approaching the gate only to realize what lay behind the gate was out of reach because they didn't have access. IT WAS WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY!!!! The Moroccan influenced display is interactive and set to its own dreamy music. I now want a lighted sculpture for my front yard We look forward to returning when the new display is ready! Give yourself a couple of hours to really enjoy the space and take it all in. Longer if you want to just have some wine and enjoy the music. There were fire-pits and plenty of places to lounge and enjoy.

So we were vacationing in Paso Robles with friends and family and wanted to find a cool activity for the kids. My wife found this but we didn't quite know what to expect. It was a bit colder than we are used to but we decided to brave the cold outdoors. We bought tickets online, arrived just before dusk with the families and parked in the dirt lot. We walked to the entrance which had a cool outdoor grass area with a couple food options, as well as an indoor bar area that offered limited adult beverages and hot drinks for the kids, which I'd totally recommend to keep you warm dueing your walk. They also had a makeshift stage area where a band would start playing a bit later in the evening. So basically there is a path setup for you to walk and enjoy the "light show." Near the start of the path there have VIP seating if you'd rather just enjoy the lights from a bench while overlooking the "Valley of lights." Otherwise you can walk the path where they have several different light exhibits for you to enjoy. That's pretty much it from what we could tell. It was a while ago but if I remember correctly we might have walked around for close to an hour to enjoy all the beautiful colors and exhibits that were set up. All in all, the kids liked it and it was a different activity to get us outside.

The installation is truly extraordinary--a testament to creativity and meticulous attention to detail. As a photographer and artist, I deeply appreciate the vision and effort poured into this work. Whether the admission ticket is "worth it" is a personal decision, but there's no denying its powerful "wow" factor and its striking photogenic appeal. However, capturing its true beauty is another story entirely. Without proper stabilization, your phone camera will likely reduce the vibrant spectacle to a chaotic blur. While the prohibition of tripods and selfie sticks is understandable--tripping hazards in the dark and potential disruption to public flow--the outright ban on any stabilizing device, no matter how small or discreet, feels arbitrary and counterproductive. For example, I brought a tiny handheld gimbal, compact enough to fit in my pocket, solely to ensure sharp, high-quality photos in low light. It posed no risk or inconvenience to anyone. Yet security demanded I either return it to my car or stash it away, despite my polite explanation that it was neither a selfie stick nor a device that extended outward. My reasoning was curtly dismissed. This rigid enforcement undermines the ability to fully document and share the magic of the installation. I can't imagine this was the artist's intention--after all, such art is meant to inspire and be shared, not reduced to subpar snapshots. It's disheartening that an arbitrary rule prevents visitors from preserving the memory of such a breathtaking experience.

One of the few light festivals where the surrounding is super dark, almost pitch black. Was an interesting experience driving in but glad to see there was plenty of parking and it was free. I wanted to check out this spot since I saw all the cool pictures on Instagram. I think the experience is cool and you can tell all the hard work that went into setting this up. I ended up getting the All-Access Pass but to be honest I think the only thing worth seeing is the Field of Lights. The dimensions, gone fishing, and fireflies was pretty boring and very basic. For like $65 per person for all access, I felt like it's not worth it. It's cool but too pricey for what it is. I was done with the whole experience in about 1.5 hours. Definitely one and done for me but it's worth checking out at least once. Don't set your expectations too high and you'll have a great time, especially on a date. Note - I think the mascot is a white cat named Ghost, we were able to catch the cat at the entrance and he is so adorable!

Multiple exhibits to check out, including Bruce Munro's Field of Lights, Dimensions metal sculptures that light up to music, the Light Towers which also includes music, and Gone Fishing. The Fireflies exhibit was under construction as of November 2024, but it was still worth the All-Access pass to explore everything else which was open and available this past weekend. Live music from 4:30-7:30pm on Sunday added to an ideal experience. Smooth jazz tunes, sounds of the bass, drums, guitar, and vocals putting us in the mood as we sat by the fire (fire pits at most tables on the lawn). We enjoyed a couple drinks, the sensorio sour and firestone 805, as well as some bites from Ricky's Mexican Food Truck for dinner. The market inside the main building sold other food items such as crab melts, hot dogs, and garlic fries. And pizza could be ordered through a QR code at the seats in the lawn area where the live music was. So there are certainly plenty of food options. The venue as a whole allowed visitors the freedom to tour at their own pace, which we appreciated. We visited the captivating light exhibits twice, while listening to live music and grabbing food and drinks in between. And staff was plentiful, providing helpful information and instructions as needed. Definitely a memorable experience.

It was such a spectacular place to go. The lights are beautiful and pictures don't do it justice. I loved how there are food and drinks halfway through the walk. The vendors were also very friendly and a nice touch. There are also fire pits where you can sit back and enjoy live music. I would definitely be back.

The entrance into the parking area was dark & a bit sketchy upon first impression. For a moment, it felt as if we were trespassing. There was a single sign off the freeway to indicate their presence but that was it. But, dont let my words deter you - once you've settled into a parking space, entered past security and scanned your prepaid ticket then the magic begins. I don't even really know how to describe this place - you really need to see it for yourself! When you first lay your eyes on the vast fields full of color it takes your breath away. The color stretches so far it almost seems endless from an angle. What I truly enjoyed was the peace as you walk through the fields, the soft glow of moonlight above, the warmth of the evening and the gentle conversations that surround you. Other guests really respected one another here - there were no loud voices, everyone was polite and respectful of each other's space. I guess this place has that effect on you - it's so peaceful and, depending on who you may be with, it could also be quite romantic. An evening strolling in the dark, embraced by color and imagination. A beautiful and unique experience. I would do it all over again. Maybe next time just as a couple - leave the kids at home.

Indoor/outdoor always love to expose kiddos to the arts. This is a beautiful year around art light creative exhibition. Very Different from a holiday light show. It is a little pricey, the most expensive is about 70.00 per adult, 36 for children . They have other packages, but then you don't get the full experience. Do dress warmly, it is cold, and wear comfortable walking shoes. Some walkways we couldn't walk through because they were muddy from rain . Unfortunately no types of discounts... no first responders discounts Some pics not all ...

I finally made it to Sensorio. It is definitely a one-time experience for me. However, if I have family or friends visiting and we decide to go to this area, I would definitely take them. It is something to do, and it was actually really pretty. We ended up getting the Terrance experience, which cost a little more to sit, drink some beer, and watch the lights. I probably won't choose this option again; it is much better to walk around and see the lights, which we ended up doing anyway. They were super organized with the check-in process, and someone was always there if we needed help or had questions. We ended up getting some drinks and snacks at their restaurant and ordered the corn dog. Afterward, we went to the terrace and waited for the lights to come on. Parking was also super easy, and getting out was not chaotic at all. I would totally recommend going here.

I saw some pictures of this place and thought it looked quite pretty. Reviews looked good too! Was expecting something on the same caliber as team labs in Japan since these tickets were quite pricey. I was a bit disappointed. Some of the exhibits were closed so that was my bad for not looking closer at the fine print. Field of lights was pretty. I loved how interactive dimensions was, but wasn't super impressed with the other installations. Overall, it was an ok experience, but I'm not sure if this was worth the $70 price tag.

This is a once in a lifetime experience! The ambience and the lights were amazing. Can't even describe it. It's expensive but highly recommend it!

This is the most magical place filled with lights lights and more lights. You walk to them and around them in the dark. There are wine booths to get a glass of wine and continue strolling. If you get tired or just want to sit down and soak up the beautiful lights on a hill there are some warm fireplaces with comfy benches to sit and sip. Great place for a romantic evening They recently opened a very nice restaurant and deli so you can sit and have a decent meal or snack and of course wine before or after you walk the lights.

The new Dimensions exhibit at Sensorio (opened Memorial Day weekend 2024) is worth the trip! First timers, we got the all access pass ($65/adult) so we could check everything out. Tickets were for 7pm (still light outside this time of year), and you're able to check out the LED exhibits before they're all lit up. They also have a nice food area with a merch trailer to hang out before it gets dark and the lights start poppin'. Field of lights is the OG installation and pretty cool. We enjoyed Dimensions the most, as it had music that synched with the lights and was interactive too. You can immerse yourself in the exhibit or enjoy from a distance near the cozy fire pits. Tickets for just the dimensions exhibit are available if that's all you're interested in, or have seen the other exhibits in the past. No selfie sticks, tripods, or flash photography.

Light Vision Light exhibit by artist Bruce Monro, which opened in 2019, that features over 100,000 colored stemmed spheres strewn across a hillside. They've also introduced some newer exhibits, with their newest "Dimensions" by Hybycozo, premiring just recently. The Good: *Entirely powered by solar *Exhibits were fantastic and lots of fun to photograph. *Games, food trucks, live entertainment, and fireplaces (if you can snag a table) are provided as part of the admission. *Their spiked drinks are strong, so be prepared. 0_o *Staff we interacted with were all terrific The Meh: *While really cool, it does start to feel a little samey as you go thru the field. *Despite being open for over five years, it's still really popular, and the narrow walkways can get crowded. The Ugly: *Prices ($65/adult $35/kids) are a little obscene for what it is, tbh. Especially when you figure it's really just a photo opp and not some marvel of nature. Conclusion: Really cool and no regrets going, but maybe decide if the price is worth a few cool pics. For me? That'll always be a resounding, "Yes!"

This was our second visit to Sensorio. If I could, I would book a third visit tonight! We have experienced Sensorio with a regular pass and this time, an all-access pass with Terrace seating and VIP service. Both visits were enjoyable but must admit the VIP treatment with complimentary cocktails and charcuterie was exceptional. The All Access pass with Terrace Seating and charcuterie was pricy - about $150 per person including fees and artist royalties. I would skip the charcuterie next time - the food tasted like it had been prepared well in advance and the meats were dry and tasteless. The hummus tray with vegetables was also dried out but the breads served with both trays were tasty. Cocktails were canned and served without ice. Better food options were offered at the Mercado and at other walk up bars throughout the park. Service was outstanding on both visits. Staff members were friendly and helpful throughout but we were especially grateful for the attention paid to my 87-year old mother who enjoyed her visit in a wheelchair with a spectacular view from the Terrace. Parking was plentiful and access from 46 was easy. I don't know if this is a good value for families with small children due to the high ticket price but for adults seeking a memorable evening, this was money well spent.

We had a really good time visiting Sensorio last month. A few things I would have liked to know before I cam though: -It says no dogs, so we paid to have a sitter come and watch our dog but I saw half a dozen dogs at least so I was a little put out by that as they were clearly not service dogs. I say bring your dog if you want to because there doesn't seem to be much push back from staff. -We waited in the food and music area towards the beginning until it got dark to view the lights but you can walk through while there is some light and your way back will be dark If we had done this, I believe we would have gotten more perspective, better photos and less crowds. -They offer premier seating for a higher price. Don't buy it. The people sitting there paid more for a limited view. Once I saw the seating, I was baffled. -They have a few food options but the prices are high. That being said, we paid $24 for a crab melt and fries that my husband thought was delicious! I myself thought the entire experience was a bit overpriced but I am still glad we went. It's a fairly unique experience. -The whole thing can take between an hour or three depending on the speed you choose to go. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and it was romantic and beautiful at times. There were also a lot of rude, loud people and children who ruined entire stretches for everyone around them. If you go, please be quiet and let others enjoy the ambiance.

MIND BLOWN!!! Worth every penny! Don't want to go as far as saying it was life changing, but my life is better because I got to experience this incredible place. I turned to my wife multiple times during our time here to tell her how thankful I was that she found it. The last section with all the geometric installations had me choked up and overwhelmed with tears of joy. The music combined with the visuals truly hit me on a deep soul level. I am so thankful that I got to experience such a thing with my wife and kids. Needless to say, I had a moment. This is a life bucket list place, add it to yours! I think we were very lucky to go when we did New Year's Day night) as there were no crowds at all and we could really take our time to wander through. I cannot wait to go back again when the new section opens. Having great options for food and drinks throughout, as well as places to just sit down and relax was very nice. I could have stayed for hours.

What an awesome summer night! Go do this! Great live music by a talented musician and singer. Ample seating and beverages while you wait for the sun to go down. Walk on a trail through magical lighting and listen to all of the ooohhhh ahhhhhh of people around you. Try your best to capture the best photo of the experience. The "Dimensions" installation is totally worth the extra fee, so don't skimp, do it. Go in it and also sit at the top and look down on it. The music moves the lighting to different forms and colors. Today was my third time visiting. Each time we have visitors, we take them there. It is a must experience.

Sensorio is such a beautiful place to go and enjoy some beautiful lights. Upon arrival they have plenty of parking and there are two lines to get inside. One line is the express and the other is the VIP line. They go over the rules and regulations before coming in. They also check your purse/bags for safety reasons. Sensorio is big and its best to bring your walking shoes because you will get tired. Plus, it gets dark really fast. They have hot cocoa regular, and they have it with alcohol (baileys, etc.). If it gets cold, it will warm you up a bit. The lights are beautiful and the pictures come out really nice. Loved my experience here.

Sensorio is a must-do for a night in Paso! The ticket price is a little steep, and the dirt parking lot and ports potties make the first impression a bit questionable. ;) But once the lights go down, you are transported!! The field is large, and I personally could've stared at it for hours. There are a few more sections off the main field if you keep walking, and of course food and music right at the front entrance. I want to go back to see their new addition (it was under construction during my visit), but I'm unsure if it's a repeat event given the price.

Came with the fam bam on 4th of July. We arrived a bit after 8:30pm when the sun was starting to set and the lights were starting to come on. Tickets are super expensive! We opted for the all-access pass which is $70+ per adult. I personally think it's overpriced, but everything seems to be that way nowadays. At least parking was free! We didn't try any of the food or drinks, but we saw a few food trucks before the exhibition entrance and in the Dimensions exhibit. Dimensions was my favorite out of all of the exhibits. Wine was available for purchase and there were fire pits that you can sit at to enjoy your glass of wine. We were able to catch a glimpse of the 4th of July fireworks show happening close by.

This was a mandatory part of our Mini Girls Getaway and it was very unique! It kind of felt otherworldly and magical, with music to match the ambiance. We bought the Terrace All Access and Terrace + Platter All Access and the platter was pretty disappointing; there are other food options on grounds so I definitely recommend the Terrace All Access pass. All of us agreed that the pricing didn't quite match the length and amenities but it was cool to see overall so no major gripes in the end.

It's hard to put a price on art and experiences but I'm not gonna lie, I was a little taken back at first when I saw the price of admission. But after going and having the experience, I have to encourage you, who is reading this to go, you won't regret it. I arrived shortly after the doors opened and as I made my way up the walk path, I could hear the sound of music; the venue hosts live music which is featured in a pavilion you pass as you enter the property just past the entry gates. The pavilion is surrounded with seating and fire pits along with a big grassy field. They offer onside concessions including some food options and a full bar. Depending on the ticket you select, you gain entry to the original field installation which had become a permanent feature and encouraged the expansion to include some additional areas to explore. I recommend buying the full access but not necessarily the terrace view as it's fun to spend time meandering through the various installations and if you get thirsty on your walk, they have included airstream campers which have been converted into bar cars. So you can sit and enjoy your drinks overlooking the various areas without the additional expense of the terrace admission ticket price. I only added a few photos because I think you need to experience this for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Very cool spot to visit while in town. Make sure to bring your walking shoes and it is a lot of walking. The way the whole place was set up was that the lights just kept going and going. There were different areas and sections. For the price you pay, I would definitely say it's worth it. i would love to try their VIP experience one of this days. I will definitely come back since their theme changes .

Did you really go to Paso if you didn't visit Sensorio by world acclaimed artist Bruce Munro? I was ecstatic to experience this amazing outdoor light display for even an hour. It's absolutely breathtaking. Totally worth the $45 + fees. I was also able to get a $2 discount per ticket for staying at a Paso hotel (Oxford Suites). Check with hotel staff or online to see if they offer a discount code. Open Thursday-Saturday nights, operating hours change based on sunset. Order tickets online or onsite. Live music, food trucks, a few fire pits, clean restrooms! Take a stroll through the multi-acre path illuminated by over 100,000 fiber optic color changing spheres. Take a seat and enjoy gazing out at the night sky embellished by twinkling stars normally hidden by city lights. Close your eyes, breathe, and listen to the sounds of crickets chirping and toads croaking as your mind resets. Quite therapeutic. Next on the path is Light Towers with 69 hand built wine bottle towers using over 17,000 bottles, each filled with glowing optic fibers. Felt like I was in Hawaii with the soothing music playing from within the towers. Newest light exhibits include Fireflies & Gone Fishing, which reminded us of jellyfish. Stay tuned for new exhibit Dimensions by LA artists HYBYCOZO later this year. Since we arrived with about an hour to enjoy the exhibit, my friends and I were the last ones there. Some friendly employees escorted us back to the front with their big flashlights. Immerse your senses in color, light, and sound. Grab a hot beverage or glass of wine. Just be careful walking on the path since it is dark. Also, parking is free!

Munroe pass is not worth $45. The light towers and fireflies and fishing thing were underwhelming. Charging $5 for water-based hot chocolate and $9 for a small plate of fries is wayy too overpriced. Field of lights was the best part. Live music and fire pits were good too. Service was decent. Good job, Howard.

The story begins with my girlfriend's wish to see some lights at the holidays. Well I know just the place...This is a surprise of course, I had found tickets for a Jazz music starter then buy tickets to walk around and see the lights. It gets dark earlier and that was perfect for our timing tonight. First of all this is a sensational place...its very pretty, the lights are overwhelming, it is done very well. I've got some gripes, I felt tricked into buying the jazz performance tickets because it was open to all who entered. I did a on-line order from the kitchen so I didn't have to wait in line to order, not that it made a difference as I had to wait in the same line to pick up my food. One Cobb salad and a charcuterie plate was quite expensive, add in three bottles of water put it over $50 bucks...captive audience...ah. Now we were supposed to buy wrist bands too...for the walk about but...somehow we forgot to do that and we managed to cruise the place and had a good walk. This is a unique experience and I certainly recommend having a look...once. foodguy-martin

Sensorio is where the Field of Lights is hosted. It is a large area of rolling hills and land the house's massive fields of lights. The lights are set up in different areas with different themes. Dimensions is really nice where you can actually interact with some of the displays. Murono is a very lengthy area of rolling hills filled with dozens of lights that slowly continue to change colors. We did not try any of the food, but it is great for a date night for 2, but will be about $150 per person. No issues with parking at all, just make sure you have your walking shoes on and you will have a great time.

Pictures really don't do it justice! They really turned this into a place worth visiting. They have food trucks, a cafeteria, a bar, plenty of restrooms, fire pits, and a live stage for performances. There's a huge lawn area and plenty of seating. Great place to take your family or go on a date or with friends. I recommend coming at dusk so you can catch the sunset and see the sky turn to dark. I got the Munro pass for $45 and I think it was really worth it. There's plenty of space to walk the path comfortably too. Highly recommend!

While on a weekend trip in Paso Robles my cousins and I came here to see what this place is all about. We didn't have tickets but were able to purchase them at the entrance. I know they sell them online but since we don't know if we will have time to visit I didn't purchase them. We came in around 7 pm. It was a little too early to see the lights so we decided to have dinner and wine here at the cafe. We ordered sandwiches and fries and salad. Some of us got food from the Mexican food truck. It was delicious. However the food from the cafe was bad, tasteless and disappointing. I don't know how they can sell this kind of food where there are so many tourists visiting from all over the world. It's a shame. They are better off selling premade packaged deli sandwiches and salads than making it there. After we purchased some wine we sat by the fire outside and enjoyed the live music. I even danced a little :) As soon as it was dark enough we started walking towards the lights. How beautiful it was. All around you thousands of colorful lights. Takes about thirty minutes to walk around if you don't stop. . I absolutely loved the Dimensions by HYBYCOZO. Absolutely amazing. I didn't want to leave. We purchased the all access pass to see all the exhibits. I noticed It was a bit pricier at the door than if you were to purchase it online. Overall a great place to visit while in Paso Robles. It's beautiful.

Tough review to write. "Coolness" factor, it's probably a 5 star, but for the price (to see everything), it just isn't worth it. They have 2 "must see" exhibits - Field of Lights & Dimensions, but you have to buy an all access pass ($75+ with fees). The rest of the exhibits (except maybe Light Towers) is a waste. They open at 6:30pm, but neither of the must see exhibits are worth seeing until it gets dark - not dusk, but dark. So, at least 8pm in August - and the close at 10. If it was $25+/person then definitely worth it, but for ~$150 for a couple to walk around for a couple hours to look at 2 maybe 3 cool light exhibits, seems like too much. There is plenty of parking and nice facilities (food/drink to purchase options, plenty of restrooms, seating with heater, etc). Unfortunately the walking path around the exhibits are packed dirt so expect your shoes to be filthy when you get home.

The concept is incredible and it really is a site to behold in person! However, the overall execution of the experience could be improved speaking from an accessibility perspective. And it looks like some enhancements and updates are in progress, so that's positive. First, the parking lot is under construction or it's currently being transitioned from a gravel lot to a more structured/paved which is a great improvement. But while it's undergoing the improvement additional signage or traffic control would be helpful. Especially for people with mobility impairments (walker, cane, wheelchair) the gravel lot is difficult to navigate. The entrance/welcome is nice, good customer experience with friendly staff at the initial entrance, checking belongings and guiding you through the metal detectors. I appreciated that when attempting to use the portable toilets at this entrance, a staffer informed us that there were real restrooms inside - thank you! We enjoyed walking through the exhibits and experiencing the various light displays. As the sun set the displays became more vibrant, but the walking paths got darker and very difficult to see where you were walking or what you might be stepping on. Another accessibility call out here, especially for those with balance issues who rely on sight to maintain balance while walking. Overall we had a great experience and would love to see improvements made so that more people can enjoy it, safely.

Very cool experience if you have never done it! Go for sunset and experience this farm light coming to life! It was fun and mesmerizing! Very big land and even walking to the end of it and coming back was an exercise itself! After a long wine tasting day in the city, this will be perfect ending to walk it out and enjoy the view and make some room for dinner!

I have wanted to visit this spot for soooo long and finally got to go and it was amazing! The company was so accommodating to the 3 separate times we had to change our ticket dates (kids, life, emergencies, haha). We weren't ever charged and they are so responsive over email to quickly respond. I think going in the winter was special and caused reason to bundle up as we walked the path. The location is easy to find from the highway and there's quite a bit of parking. It was not easy to find the actual entrance after we parked. We were meandering for a bit until we found it. The staff working were welcoming and gave us a brief run through of the field. They had live music near the entrance and a seating area for people to hang. The actual path around the field is a loop and ensures you see the full show. The light towers are really cool. It would've been nice to have some music playing on speakers along the path, similar to the music playing at the light towers. It felt so quiet! Others in my party were a little concerned about the path in the dark and fear of tripping on something, so wished it was lit a bit better. Overall, this place is really cool and such a unique experience. I highly recommend!

This was my first time going to this beauty. My children and fiancé were definitely in awe with how beautiful and peaceful it was. We got the VIP tickets and by far do not regret. Definitely recommend it and I will be going back with a couple of friends to enjoy this once again.

We planned to come see Sensario on the way back home from Solvang. It was a perfect winter evening. It was cold but we managed with our winter coats, beanies and hand warmers. We did general admission. We ate at the pavilion and then walked through the display. Photos can't do it justice but it was so worth it. If you haven't experienced anything like this, just do it!

Paso Robles has so many hidden gems and Sensorio is definitely one of them! Tickets were $45 a piece online and me and the hubby came on a Wednesday night during the end of December about an hour and a half before it closed. Getting in was easy and all we needed to show was our tickets and go through security. It was cold but the lights were so beautiful and we stayed, walked around, and took pictures until closing. Even with taking pictures it just doesn't do it justice as what you see with your own eyes. You can see colored fields for miles it seemed. I loved the installation with the lights inside of the wine bottles that played the African style music. We had eaten before we got there but there was a couple food trucks and a restaurant that offered and food and drinks and alcohol. The path was smooth and although I needed my flashlight a couple times to see it is a pretty easy path to follow. If you appreciate art and flowers this is a place you'll enjoy. We saw families of all ages and couples as well so this is definitely a family friendly and date night type of place

What an amazing experience. If you were on the fence about coming, you should jump off and make this journey. This is a beautiful property and a romantic date night. I would show up early so you can see the sunset and lights turn on. Get bundled up if the time of year calls for it. When it gets cold grab a drink, sit by a fire pit and enjoy some live music. Definitely a great experience.

Simply put: a must do if you're near! Outside of the iconic lights bulbs in the hills, the other exhibits are in constant rotation. But those light bulbs are breathtaking and make for great photos. I also recommend getting the terrace experience upgraded ticket. You get priority entry, access to the terrace area that has private tables with fireplaces lined in front of you, private bathrooms, and a free drink at the bar (limited to a wine glass or beer on tap). It elevated our experience tenfold. It was a freezing night and being able to walk to the Terrace area and escape the cold was HUGE. Service was exactly what it needed to be, nothing stands out but that's all good for me. Value in my mind was worth it when you consider all of the above and are looking to splurge on an experience (just below $100/person). See photos for proof!

I don't know how I learned about Sensorio. I live in Chicagoland and when I saw the website immediately called my friends in SoCal and planned a trip. Well worth it!! We arrived just before sunset and made our way to the terrace. The fireplaces all around the terrace kept us warm and comfortable as we enjoyed the sun setting on the horizon. The lights started to glow softly and as the daylight disappeared into the darkness the landscape became spectacular. Thousands of lights glowing brightly formed a rainbow carpet that extended for acres. We took our wine and walked the paths surrounded by the beauty of the artwork. Turned a corner into a tunnel and we were surprised by the light towers area. We were in awe. The music, which to me resembles Ladysmith Black Mambazo South African choral group, beats rhythmically enhanced my experience, sensing and participating. I am so glad I made the trip from Chicago.

I have been to other outdoor light shows that were very interesting. This one was ... very boring. The Lite-Brite like lights did nothing at all. The "Light Towers" were a bunch of empty glass bottles with fiber optics. The "Gone Fishing" made no sense whatsoever. The "Fireflies" moved a tiny bit in the faint breeze (perhaps if it were more windy that might have been clever to watch?). The one bright spot (sorry!) was "Dimensions by Bruce Munro. Not everyone was granted access (WHY!?!?) but we were and this was actually very cool! Lots of geometric shapes cast by the lights inside of the structures. I would want one in my backyard. Still, Dimensions was not worth the long wait and boring walk to get there ....

Sensorio really exceeded my expectations - the light show is beautiful and the music and silent disco elements were so fun. We went as a family including our 3 year old daughter and we all had a fantastic time. We would definitely go again next time we're in Paso.

Really loved this art installation! The meadow was definitely the wow factor of the event. The standing lanterns, jellyfish-like display and fan-like display were mediocre in comparison. The great part is that there are benches scattered throughout the walking path of the meadow so you can take a break to take it all in. The lights do gradually change ever so slightly so it's worth taking a seat to see the colors fade into new colors. Food-wise, the venue offers a Mexican food truck as well as typical American eats like corn dogs and burgers that are priced up. I'd say skip the food here, eat beforehand, and order a nice cocktail to sip on as you wait for the sun to set before gazing upon the art installations. The bathrooms were clean but I recommend using the ones connected to the food venue as those are nicely heated. The other bathrooms are outdoors in the cold next to the music venue. The grassy lawn area upon entrance has a bunch of fire pits in front of the live music venue which was super nice but of course, the family groups ended up taking more of the chairs to crowd around a quarter of the fire pits. So, the venue would've definitely benefited having more chairs available. Since this event is outdoors, I do highly recommend bringing and spraying on bug spray as there are small mosquitoes!! I ended up getting bit on my chin so that was no buenooo :(

Really unique experience wandering in the dark and viewing the light installations! There are plenty of seating areas for you to pause and take it all in. Watch your step since this is in the dark. There are very few lights to help you walk the path. The wait for food was way too long for the type of food they're preparing. When we look around, the people waiting for their food far outweigh the people eating their food. There's also live music near the entrance with picnic tables. Lots of places for people to enjoy themselves! Highly recommend traveling to experience this

Be prepared to have your mind totally blown away!! This experience will be something you will never forget! The lights and sounds touch your soul! Absolutely amazing!!!!!

It was a wonderful and fun experience. I came here w/ 2 guy friends and we noticed there were many couples and how this may not be suitable for 3 guys! Simply beautiful and amazing! You are in awe at how beautiful it looks and wonder how they were able to put it together- so artistic and creative. Tip to keep in mind is to buy tickets in advance and pay more so your are able to sit by the fire pits and tables to relax and wait for sun to go down. It's worth the extra money to not have to worry about where to sit. Also you get to use the more clean less people going bathrooms! Food truck food was great so we didn't have to get food before or after coming here! I would definitely come back!

3.5 solid stars SO why not 4 or 5 stars? 1) Pretty expensive for what it is. I get it...it is expensive to run a exhibit this big. 2) Would be nice to make the flower field smaller and add in 1-2 more exhibits there. 3) There were not as many exhibits as I have imagined. Personally, for me, I would've enjoyed it more if the exhibit areas were smaller but with more varieties. Like the gone fishing and fishing pole--that area can have another new exhibit. 4) The new dimensions and the flower field areas were my favorites. Pros: 1) Great, clean bathrooms. 2) Nice to have live music 3) Nice to have stations that sell drinks throughout the Sensorio experience 4) Nice to have seating areas for ppl who want to stay there from opening to closed. Tip: It can get cold at night. Bring jackets, long pants and beanies!

Amazing lights!!! Totally worth driving to and worth the $$. We went to the Munro field of lights and that was amazing. Would go again to see the rest!
