Sentido do Mar

We had an amazing lunch at Sentido do Mar — easily the best restaurant and service right on the beach. The fish was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. You can truly taste the quality of the ingredients. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a top spot to eat by the sea, this place is an absolute must!

It’s not usual beach bar, it high level restaurant. The staff is fast, friendly and professional. Food is great! Oysters are my favorite

Seafood is so good!!! Portions are on the bigger side. The location is perfect on the beachfront. Out of all the beachside venues, this is the only one where I think the food quality truly stands out.

Really Great food and really friendly service! The razor clams where very good and the tuna taco also great!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. The waiters were great at explaining the menu to us in English which we greatly appreciated. The house wine was also very good. Views stunning. Highly recommend. For a high end meal in a stunning location we thought it was good value for money. Our eight year old loved his sushi and pasta.

We had a reservation for 9 adults and 2 children. We were sat immediately upon arrival however we sat there for at least 25 minutes before anyone came to our table and this was just for drinks. Their red sangria was not that great (group consensus), but their white was better after we asked for them to make it sweeter. The food took quite some time to come and they missed one order. Overall feelings was the food was decent but not 5 stars. It seems they were struggling with staff. The view was terrific being right on the water. Not sure if we will return.

The service is terrible. The waitress is so unresponsive, doesn’t know the menu or anything about the fish choice, mixed up our orders. There’s just a lack of communication with the guests. Communication would solve everything. She silently walks away and is not responsible at all. Also, they wanted to rip us off. Added extra dish to the bill which we never ordered. The food and views are excellent. But the service spoilt the visit. The worst experience in Portugal.

Excellent Restaurant with best Sushi, Sashimi and fresh fish, presumably in entire Lisbon and around; the owner, Jorge, is a pretty relaxed guy and has spend some time in Japan; so you get classical sushi but also fusion style. But try also the fresh fish i.e. dorade, might be also one of the best we had so far in Portugal. In addition the view and sunset is superb, a must do in Caparica , only 4 stars instead of five because prices are a bit high- considering prices in Portugal in general; but you get excellent quality for your money😎

This is the best sushi I've ever had, and I've traveled the world tasting Fresh Fish and sushi. This place is located right on the ocean with the most magnificent view. Rachel was our server and she was amazing. Took very good care of us. Help us make decisions. The white wine that she had us picked out was only $15 a bottle and was superb and mashed perfectly with our meal.

Great rolls and amazing lemon pie, also there is sparkling sangria! You can enjoy the sunset as well

Very good food ( we had sushi, fish and burger). Friendly and english speaking staff. we would come back :)
