"Tucked amid vineyards across Highway 29, the 43-room hotel places fireplaces, cozy sitting areas, and private patios or balconies in rooms that face vineyard rows. Guests can stroll among the vines to nearby wineries such as Ashes & Diamonds, relax at a guests-only pool, and walk to highly regarded local dining like Bistro Don Giovanni (noted for its beet salad and branzino) while enjoying sunset views over miles of vines." - Matt Villano

I LOVED this boutique hotel. Everything from the staff, my Vineyard room, the amenities exceeded my expectations. The grounds were immaculate and although my party of 9 ladies gathered at night and got noisy at times, LOL....no one complained. I can't wait to stay again. Great location with good food and a winery in walking distance.

Great spot, fabulous room, nice quiet pool. Perfect. ||Only here one night and a single , chilled day by the pool. Perfect rest day on a long road trip. It’s a real oasis spot, easy to get to, in beautiful surroundings. Not cheap, and not should it be. ||We will be back, and hopefully soon, and will stay longer. The room we had was a two bed garden suite with balcony. It was outstanding, though at the price I would’ve expected a stocked mini bar. ||Beds are amazing, bathroom huge, and just lots of space. We loved it.

A bit underwhelming and overpriced. We booked a regular room and a cellar King. Frankly, they are not that different. The Cellar room has a bit more square footage, but that space is just open space in the room which looks a bit odd. It almost looks like furniture is missing. These rooms were facing the interior road and had no view at all. Check-in was warm and welcoming, but it was downhill from there. When I went to check out I was told I had a zero balance and was not offered a copy of the invoice. The staff at check out clearly wanted to get rid of me as quickly as possible. I later found that they made extra charges on my credit card. It would have been more professional to present a customer with a final invoice when checking out. |For being this expensive the hotel is petty. Because we had two rooms we received two breakfast credits. But you have to carefully order things to each credit separately to be able to use the credit. In our case we went over the regular credit on one voucher and under on the other, so the hotel charged us extra even though our total amount was less than the two vouchers combined. For such an expensive hotel, this seems remarkably petty. When I emailed them about this there as no response except that I (finally) received a final invoice.

Everything about Senza is excellent. Beautiful grounds, a quiet pool with cabanas (where they don’t charge for you to use like in other places!) and more than enough sun loungers, 2 fire pits, a hot tub, small but adequate fitness room, electric car chargers, spacious and well-equipped rooms, good breakfast (the daily credit provided is more than needed for 2 to have breakfast and a coffee). I could go on! I couldn’t recommend it more.

Just finished our second stay here and could not be happier. What a great Napa Valley wine vibe with hotel rooms surrounded by vineyards. Amazing facilities, pool, service and food on site everything needed for your first trip to wine country or for seasoned vets like us. You've got Ashes and Diamonds just down the street along with Don Giovanni for dinner walking distance and short drive to downtown. All of our future trips start here. Thank you and great to see y'all!

We had never stayed here so we gave it a try on this Napa trip. Checking in was nice, the front desk lady was friendly and they gave us bubbles while we were completing the process. We got there just around 3PM and they were still busy getting rooms ready, but we only waited a few minutes for them to finish off our room.||Our room was basically right above the café, which was great, as it was a quick walk each morning to get coffee. They have a full service café which serves fresh made breakfast as well. They have free coffee in urns to grab (as well as hot water for the tea bags they have there) and they also have a barista station behind the counter where they’ll make most coffee/espresso drinks you might want. They have a pastry counter with a selection of fresh baked items too. After breakfast time, the café switches to offering wine and such for later in the day.||As for the room, it was nice… pretty big too. The TV worked great (not that we were there to watch it, but it’s nice to fall asleep too, even though the sleep timer didn’t work). The bathroom was superclean and well-organized and very nice! Everything worked perfectly in it. The bed was great, nice and comfy as were the bed linens and housekeeping did a nice job on keeping the room fresh daily.||The property itself has all the features you’ve expect from a much larger property… such as large pool, a very nice inground hot tub, gym, and gathering places. The landscaping was great and so was the upkeep of the property! I even saw a housekeeper dusting outside, which was great to see! ||One of my favorites things about this property was that it’s central to everything… If you want to go to downtown Napa, it’s only a couple of miles to the left. Yountville is a few miles to the right – So quick to access either! ||We’ll definitely return here in the future!

Fireplace didn’t work – I had to report it to get it fixed. Now the AC doesn’t work and I’m going to report it to get it fixed. We don’t blast our ac - but just enough to keep the edge off. And I’ll mention that they’re never towels at the pool after 4:30 PM or so – and there are no towels ever at the hot tub area – and a lock on the bathroom by the hot tub is broken. I’m not a nitpicky person – most of my reviews are positive. But I’m here to focus on my wife - not on what’s broken in our room. The property is really nice. And the food from the small kitchen is remarkably good.

Google
Our stay here was anything short of WOW. The rooms are absolutely outstanding. We had the vineyard room, and the view was to die for. We stayed here for a birthday celebration weekend, and it did not disappoint. The staff here are also so nice and helpful. The location is prime, and would recommend to anyone. Well worth every penny and will be back.

Yelp
Came back again since Senza has been our go-to family stay every summer for the last 10+ years. After my last review almost one year ago, we came back knowing the newer ownership/management team was running the business differently and that is perfectly ok. Theres been a couple of little updates throughout the property since our last visit: Pool is heated and is a tad bit warmer now, new sun umbrellas and pool decor (doesn't really match the vibe of the hotel but it's different), new pool towels and plenty available, grounds have been cleaned and cleared up a bit more, there's a new fire pit seating area by the vineyard suite rooms, you can now order prepared food onsite to be delivered to your room (scan the qr code in the room to see menu items and pricing). The library/l aka lobby/seating area has new furniture and has been reconfigured a little bit... it's nice, welcoming and warm. We stayed in a vineyard suite this time and not much has changed. I appreciate that they still had the super comfy patio chairs... perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee and/or wine. House keeping always greeting us with a smile, refilled our Nespresso Vertuo coffee pods everyday, and made sure we had clean towels available along with a couple of water bottles in our fridge. The lobby does have a water refill station if you like to carry/bring a reusable water bottle. The rest of the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, but why not the 5 stars? There was no calendar or any mention of a complimentary wine tasting hour when I checked in. We just happened to stumble on a rep setting up a small tasting on a Tuesday evening (6-7pm). Another guest came and was surprised to see someone pouring. Also, I noticed a couple of other guests welcomed with a glass of champagne during check in. This was not the case when we checked in. Room 71 is a second floor double queen vineyard suite with a beautiful view... BUT, it's also closest to HWY 29 so if you're a light sleeper, expect to have a rough night of sleep with the sounds of trucks, cars and motorcycles driving past all night/morning. We've stayed in other vineyard suites further down and the road noise isn't as noticeable. Senza holds a special place in our hearts so we'll be back again soon!

Yelp
My wife's birthday celebration at the Senza Hotel, recommended by Janet Parker from Zinfandel Grille in Sacramento, was exceptional. Her Chef Tom Patterson, a regular guest, raved about it, and we weren't disappointed. I got extra help from Karen who helped me with the reservation and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. We arrived early, hoping to explore nearby wine tasting, and the staff graciously accommodated an early check-in as our room was ready. Their warmth and professionalism set the tone. We stayed in the Vineyard King Room #74, which was pristine and highly recommended. The room's attention to detail, including heated bathroom floors, delighted my wife. Everything was spotless, and extra towels were provided without hassle. Breakfast was a highlight. The French toast was phenomenal--a must-try--and my wife loved the salmon mini bagels. We added eggs and bacon, and every dish was flawless. I'd return just for the food. We enjoyed an on-site massage, which was relaxing, and I used the well-maintained workout room. From start to finish, the Senza Hotel exceeded expectations with its impeccable service and thoughtful touches. Adding to the amazement there just happened to be the single best restaurant on the access road to the hotel. "Bistro Don Giovanni" Make a reservation here you won't regret it. Yelp
Amazing Find! Ended up booking last minute On HotelTonight! Liked It so much, I booked it again the next night! Nice pool, jacuzzi and great location for all of the Vineyards!

Yelp
It's great. Bar none, great. One, if not my favorite place to stay in Napa. The Senza suite is so comfortable and the private patio is not to be missed. If you don't want to spring for the suite do be sure to get a room overlooking the vineyards, great view to both fall asleep and wake up to. Insider tip: Call in a to go order at Bistro Don and walk down to grab it and enjoy on your balcony or patio. It's beyond relaxing. Despite being situated right next to the highway, it's whisper quiet and it feels like you're miles away. Also be sure to bring a swimsuit, a night time soak in the hot tub isn't to be missed.

Yelp
The place was quaint and beautiful! They had a small outdoor pool and a hot tub. The hotel is seated next to a smaller vineyard and winery called Ashes and Diamond. About 5-10 minutes away from the Napa Outlet Mall, a new Costco about 10 -15 mins away, and 5-10 minutes away from the endless sea of vineyards. Front desk is available 24/7. Alicia, who checked us in, was super nice and helpful! She made our reservations for 2 vineyard visits and a restaurant for lunch. They have a cafe in the main building and the deco was nice and the food was really good!

Yelp
Charming property. Good location. Service and staff very friendly. We had a great view of the vineyard from our patio. Spacious room and large clean bathroom. Only issue we had was tv remote didn't work very well and wifi was spotty at times. Definitely would stay here again though. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This was my favorite hotel we've stayed at so far in Napa. It was incredibly beautiful and quiet, the room was very modern and super clean. Would recommend staying here!! There's lots of wineries and restaurants nearby.

Yelp
Jeremy Tibbs truly defines hospitality. His attention to detail and gracious demeanor made my stay unforgettable. He's always one step ahead, ensuring everything runs smoothly. As an industry veteran, I have no doubt he'll excel as a general manager someday! Great job Jeremy- amazing stay.

Yelp
We enjoyed our stay back in 2019.  We had a really nice experience. We loved the complimentary breakfast and mimosas in the morning. The staff were accommodating and friendly. Because of this, we decided to rebook with the thought that we would have a similar experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case. With the new management, we have discovered there is now no complimentary breakfast or mimosas. The afternoon wine that was offered in our past stay is no longer available. The pool was not cleaned and had a lot of debris and bugs floating around. The front desk staff were not welcoming when we checked in nor when we checked out. It seemed as though the front desk staff were not trained. They emailed us a week in advance asking if we wanted to check in early once we arrived. I emailed them back and said yes, but never received a response. I called a couple days later and they said to call at 10:00am the day of our stay. I followed their instructions and called at 10:00am sharp to see if the room was ready, but was told that it was not. I then asked them if they could call me when our room will be available. To our dismay, they never called us. We arrived at 3:00pm and were given our room keys to a king suite with a pull out bed. When we walked into our room, everything was in order except the pull out bed was not made. This was upsetting because when we made the reservations, we informed them that there will be 3 adults and 1 baby. It was crucial to have the pull out bed ready because our baby needed to nap after the long drive. We called the front desk to once again ask that the pull out bed be made.  After waiting for some time with a very cranky baby, no one showed up. So we then walked over to the cleaning staff ourselves and asked them directly, they said they would come right away and they did. The cleaning staff were very friendly, thankfully. We were so disappointed at how different our stay was compared to how it was when it was under the original management. I would not recommend this hotel. It is not worth the $750 to $1000 price tag. There are several other places in Napa/Yountville that are more worth that price and a way better bang for your buck.

Yelp
Cute spot to celebrate a special occasion, I mentioned it was our anniversary at booking and they set out a card and cake for us. I appreciate the extra touches that made our stay special.

Yelp
Ok, this is a hard one to write because we have been coming to Senza for few years now and we were so in love with the place ! We loved to stay here and told many people to stay here if they come to Napa. This time around we came to whole different hotel since it's been bought out and they did some changes. We arrived at 4pm and our room was not ready. That never happened before but things happen I guess. What made the whole check in worse is the new changes to the place. They took the complimentary breakfast away which was the best part of this place! We loved self served breakfast as well as all you can have mimosas, coffee, fruits. Waking up in the morning and going down for breakfast was highlight of our day! People seemed happier, it was just more lively. Now it's not the same. The wine tasting is still there but on select days. Yes the new lobby looks beautiful but I'd rather have them keep the old lobby and keep the breakfast! We did try the new "elevated" breakfast they have now and it was disappointing. I think we are not the only regulars that are not happy with these changes. People who came to Senza seemed to love all the amenities and that's why people kept coming back. I do want to give props to Edgar. When we checked in he was very welcoming and really tried to hype the place up and comfort me since I was not ready for the changes upon check in. Edgar is amazing addition to Senza ! We will have to find another place to stay at when in Napa :(

Yelp
Possibly the best hidden gem in Napa. The room that we stayed in was amazing , by far one of the best in napa. Ceilings were at 20 feet hight , if not more . We stayed in the Vineyard king suite and the views were amazing . See the pictures . Our room had a buil in fireplace and the bathrooms were huge , the size of a bedroom. They had a walk in shower , plus a bathtub. They also have a pool , hot tub and massage room. My wife and I got deep tissue couples massage, it was worth every penny. Tomorrow morning we get a continental breakfast (coffee and pastries ) , but the pastries I believe are made from bouchon bakery. Edit : (Someone commented this maybe a lie, because you have to pay for the breakfast. When we purchased our reservation, which was about six months ago it included continental breakfast from bouchon bakery . We had to put off this trip for a while for varuoius reasons ie. children , sports , finding a babysitter that works with our schedule , LOL . We told the people at the front counter, and they said no problem, they will honor the free pastries as advertised . I'm not exactly sure if the pastries they carry are still made by bouchon. They weren't amazing , but weren't bad . Im not sure how it will work for everyone else. We It sounds like you may need to pay for the breakfast now , but that's how it worked for us . ) Don't pass this place up when looking for hotels, it has also been recently remodeled and everything is new . The only advice I could give would be the material on the cabanas need to be replaced, but other than that , q0 stars

Yelp
What a great hotel! The service was top notch. The beds were the most comfortable bed I've been in ever. Beautiful location near a great restaurant and winery. They also had a nice spa as well. Highly recommend this hotel
