"This 10-storey hotel stands on the site of owner and general manager Sean Kim’s former family home. He had lofty dreams for the property, which included revitalising the sleepy neighbourhood in which he grew up. That’s why the basement restaurant and café, Ballroom, welcomes walk-ins, blurring the line between hotel guests and residents."

Cutleries and plate can't be taken to room, reason was not told to us. Instead we got spoon and bowl out of plastic for disposal after usage. On one hand they tell that they are environmentally friendly and then they don't provide normal cutlery and plate. In room there is no towel for the floor in bathroom (for usage after shower). No rubbish bag is available, only a bin which gets dirty easily without bag. Cups for tea and coffee were available, but there was no spoon or something else to stir the coffee. There is no hook to hang clothes or towels etc. We are 3 people. They gave us after making up the room only one big towel and 3 small towel. This is not enough. The safe didn't work and we told them in the morning. In the evening the safe is still not working. Breakfast: no buffet, can only be ordered and you have no choice. We paid for room with breakfast for 3 people. 3rd person is our kid. We only got breakfast for 2 people, so kid does not receive breakfast. After asking, they said kids under 8 years old do not receive breakfast which means kids don't receive anything to eat! Breakfast is a fixed set, can't be changed even if you ask the day before. All guests receive the same breakfast, no matter whether they can eat it or not (allergy could be a risk). You pay for breakfast, but you may not be able to eat it.

Easy access to metro station. While often require change of metro line to access most attraction. Clean and decent room, good for the price.

AVOID BY ANY MEANS! The tiniest hotel room I ever had, 12-13m2. They misleading the customers, it's said in the ad that the room is 19m2, but it's not! I measured with iPhone Measure. Very poor customer service: asked to change the room to one that is 19m2, was told that I'm wrong and the room is 19m2, eventually their manager popped up with the roulette (!), but when I offered him to measure, he suggested to see the other room. Rooms are very poorly furnished and furnishing is very outdated. The room has no toiletry - no soap, no toothbrush and toothpaste and so on. If you want it, you have to pay extra. Rooms are poorly cleaned. Location is rather far from the center.Overall, the right word for this hotel POOR. Will never come back here again and advise you to stay away from this poor hotel by any means!

Nice modern hotel with very kind stuff! The standard rooms are small but it's good for a few nights! Everything is clean and the beds are comfortable. The hotel is easy to reach with public transportation only 5 minutes to walk to the next station.

The hotel’s outside is aesthetically pleasing. You are greeted at the front door by an older Korean man who will direct you to the basement for check in. Check in is remotely far and simple, if you are a foreigner you can pay cash as the deposit. When I checked in there was a foreigner working there so it was easy to communicate. We got our rooms and it was nice. There is one universal plug under the TV, but if you need more you need to get an adapter. The only downside is that it rained heavily and that caused the elevator to stop working and we were checking out the next day so we had to haul our suitcases from the 5th floor. An older lady at check out got us a taxi to the airport. She was super nice.

I stayed premium room, the size quite spacious. The bathroom is good separating shower with toilet but no mat in bathroom. The front desk area is so creativity, it’s kind of cafe lot of photogenic zone and hotel offered complimentary americano.

This is for the Owner, explicitly, because the staff is friendly, helpful, and very polite at any time, Dear Owner, For 2 nights we stayed in your hotel and we are happy not to come again. If you think that making a profit is the only thing you need to think about, then you are completely wrong. The following points lead to my rating. In detail, please read 1 to 5: 1. Yellowish blankets, bed linen, pilliw covers and towels are not what a guest expects. Pick a proper laundry, not the cheapest maybe and let them use some bleach, which also helps to remove stains because there are a lot... 2. A room for two people should have towels for two people, not only for one person. 3. Towels with holes are unusual for good Hotels, so why you do not replace them? 4. The walls need paint from time to time, painting costs a little bit of money but calms down guests, bc stains always tell a story. 5. Hallway carpet...that green thing on the floor...I guess it was a carpet, bc it has more holes than a swiss cheese, it needs a renewal. I can also provide some pictures if you want. Please fix these points, and your hotel looks much much better and more professional. Thank you for your time! Best regards, Sascha H

- The floor space in the room was less than I had imagined - my luggage was big so when I opened them to arrange my things, it was fully blocking the way.- Though the bed is big enough to fit two people, there is definitely not enough floor room for two people to stay.- The check-in staff was very friendly and allowed me to early check-in instead of waiting.- The price is affordable compared to other hotels, but the location seems so far away from everything - though there are bus stops and subways nearby but the travel can be long and tiring (depends on your destination), so consider this point carefully.- It's quiet at night so there is no disturbance when sleeping.- The airport bus stops right infront of the hotel so I didn't have to worry about my heavy luggage.- For the way back, you can take the nearest bus to Seoul Station to check-in (depends on which airline is available) your luggage.- Overall, it was a good experience but I would reconsider coming back only because of the location.
