Seoul Botanic Park

Worth checking. Well-maintained and beautiful botanical garden. It felt especially exotic and nice because it was extremely cold outside and the indoor garden was warm and tropical. If you liked Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay, you might like it here too. There is a cafe inside to chill and other shops to check out too. Just one negative: parking. Their machine does not accept non-Korean-issued credit card and their customer service was horrible. The staff suggested giving a ‘random person’ around us cash and asking them to pay for us with their Korean credit card. I wish she was kidding. There was no sign that only Korean credit cards were accepted. There are a few parking lots for this garden and the one we parked in was 13 minutes away. It was challenging to walk all the way in -10 degree weather.

stroll around the outdoor garden and go to the conservatory. it is a nice greenhouse for the tropical plants and flowers. there are diferent areas like the meditteranean and tropical plants that you can explore. it is not air conditioned and will feel hot when you have a jacket/coat. there's a gift shop and plant/seed shop.

Beautiful park with nice walking paths all year round. Loved the sections where the public is invited to design small parts of the garden around different themes.

Would not recommend, especially in winter. I can imagine (although difficult to) it would look nice in bloom but when I went absolutely everything was dead. Have to pay a 5,000 won entrance fee to look at literally nothing. Why is there an entrance fee if the garden is not maintained to look nice year round? The conservatory was nicer but was so humid inside it was suffocating so had to leave immediately.

The Beautiful botanical gardens and park are a must see if you have a little free time away from work or on the weekend or if you are traveling to Seoul South Korea and it is raining or snowing. Warm inside like a sauna😊. Try it out

The outdoor garden is quite well maintained but the indoor plants and flowers looks a bit disappointing and with the hot summer and lack of aircon , the indoor is a greenhouse effect. Not a good time to visit in summer. Feels there are potential to make it better and nicer. Need more ideas to make this work. No need to buy tickets in advance since there are few crowd.

What a lovely park many flowers and trees planted. Excellent walkways public bathrooms available. They do have a botomical garden that requires a ticket. There is a coffee shop that serves hotdogs. This is a very relaxing place. Water features and mist sprayers for the runners.

Just beautiful place, for relax and charge the green energy. Just impressive, I could spend there the whole day. Very kind service too. Thank you for this beautiful experience and memory.
