"Seoul Forest is the city’s equivalent of New York’s Central Park. Divided into five unique areas, it covers a massive 12.4 million square feet, making for an oasis in the middle of the city. There’s no shortage of activities for families here—children can feed deer in the Ecological Forest, view rare insects in the Butterfly Experience Zone, or spot rabbits along park trails. In the summer, they can escape the oppressive heat at the Jumping Fountains. While the kids cool off, adults can stroll the sculpture park, picnic by the lake, or rent bikes and explore the forest’s many gardened paths."

I honestly couldn’t believe that such a big and pristine forest exists right in the middle of a busy city like Seoul. It’s like stepping into a whole different world — super peaceful, clean, and just really refreshing. One of the coolest surprises? There are deer here! You can actually see and feed them, which makes it extra fun, especially if you’re with kids. The whole place is really well-maintained too — clean paths, trimmed lawns, and everything feels cared for. There’s a convenience store inside (huge plus!), so you can grab drinks or snacks without leaving the park. There’s also a playground for the little ones and a nice fountain area that’s perfect for relaxing or taking cute photos. The variety of flowers, plants, and trees is amazing — it’s like a mini botanical garden and forest rolled into one. Every corner feels like it has something new to see. Seoul Forest is the kind of place you can go for a chill walk, a picnic, or just to escape the city noise for a bit. Highly recommend it if you need a breather while in Seoul!

This peaceful, family-friendly park is perfect for all ages. It’s easily accessible by public transportation, making it a great spot for group gatherings, bike rides, or picnics. The park features a playground, outdoor exercise equipment, and plenty of shaded areas thanks to the many trees. There’s also a nearby café and coffee shop for a relaxing break.

I came to Seoul Forest in autumn, hoping to catch some beautiful foliage — and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. Google recommended this place, and I’m so glad I followed the suggestion. I arrived at the perfect time, when the trees were bursting with rich autumn colors — fiery reds, glowing oranges, and golden yellows all around. Every path felt like a scene from a postcard, and I couldn’t stop taking photos. What I appreciated most is how easy it was to get here. Unlike some other nature spots that require long travel or complicated transfers, Seoul Forest is right in the city and super accessible by public transport. It’s peaceful, spacious, and perfect for a slow walk, a little reflection, or just to enjoy the beauty of the season. Definitely a must-visit in autumn if you’re in Seoul! :)

I visited this beautiful forest to see the cherry blossoms, and I was amazed at how peaceful and empty it was. It felt like a hidden paradise. I fully enjoyed the serenity among the blossoms, and the deer wandering nearby were absolutely adorable

Seoul Forest Park is a breath of fresh air in the city. It's a large area covered in several varieties of trees and divided into four distinct parks: Culture and Art Park, Eco Forest, Experimental Learning Park, and Marsh Pants Gardens. You would be forgiven for not knowing when one park ends and another begins as they seamlessly blend together. There are sculptures and a pond, and it's just beautiful. It's a wonderful place to unwind, and we saw lots of people having lunch and children playing.

Had a great time to walk here at afternoon in March with nice 10 - 12' C temps. They had many things here, kid playground, bridge to large field ; and also pet friendly. No wonder you'll find many people bring their dogs here. It's a place for everyone 👍
