"Set on the 24th floor, this compact apartment offers a taste of local high-rise living with a kitchenette and stovetop, a two-person dining table, and a full bathroom outfitted with Aesop toiletries and an enclosed shower stall. The wall of bedside windows overlooks the city, the Han River, and distant mountains, while the building’s prime location a few minutes’ walk from Seoul Station adds convenience. On-site perks include a 29th-floor rooftop terrace with 360-degree views, a gym, and a lounge with massage chairs and coffee machines." - Leslie Patrick

Very efficient way to travel across the South Korea. Need to book the ticket much in advance and trains are 95% on time. The train maximum speed which i recorded was 240 kmph.

This review is for all the people who need to use AREX from Seoul station, which is problematic if people did not use this coming from the airport. When you exit the Metro station, you must leave and go outside. There, you will see escalators taking you to the KTX concourse where you buy your train tickets. This is a major hub. You will see numerous KTX train ticket booths. You want to go into the concourse of the train station. You should see to your right a white information booth. At the end of the hall to the far left, you will see a yellow/orange arrow indicating Airport Express (AREX). Go to that direction, go down the escalators to B2. At the B2 level, go left, you should see an orange information booth. To the left of the orange both is the entry into the AREX platform station. You will see the kiosks. If you bought tickets in advance and have a QR code, the scanner at the gate can do it. I pre-scouted the area, and don't forget, you still need to get to the Train Platform. So go go go, as it will take time to get to your train on time.

Seoul Station also called Seoul Central Station is the main train station in Seoul, having trains going to Busan, Daejon and other big hubs. It is also connected to the Metro. The Station is connected to a Mall like outlet which has Shops, Stalls and Restaurants. There are two information counters one inside and one outside, the staff inside are very nice and helpful(they know a little of English). The ticket booking stand is inside. There is a section to do it with counter staff and a section to do it electronically at a kiosk. There are elevators and a lift aside from the stairs to get you down to the platform. However for my platform the escalator going down was not operational, fortunately the lift was operational as I had a big and heavy bag. Furthermore there is an outlet mall next to the station called Lotte Outlets which is a multi-level mall with stores selling clothes, food and a supermarket.

We took a train to Jeonju from Seoul Station. The Station was really really clean and authentic. There were limited space for storage so recommended to find luggage storage elsewhere. The toilet were super clean and many food stalls open early. The train arrived sharp as stated on the ticket, so be prepared.

To leave or reach Incheon Airport, the best option is to take the "All Stop Train". It’s the most cost-effective choice😍. e.g from Seoul Station fare is 1,250 KRW for a 56-minute journey. "Express Train", will saves you few minutes 🙄 (43 minutes in total) but costs 9,500 KRW. Then "Airport Bus 6001"😢 is not competitive, taking approximately 90 minutes for a fare of 17,000 KRW.

The center of railway travel in Seoul. You can use the high-speed train KTX and regular trains. You can make train reservations through an app called korail talk. If you want to use the train, we recommend making a reservation in advance.
