I finally tried the food and was blown away by the presentation and serving size! I ordered the Dolsot Bibimbap with bulgogi and Seoul Fire Wings. The bibimbap was still sizzling upon serving and piping hot. Quite the show! The veggies were fresh, the egg fried perfectly, and the bulgogi was tender and flavorful. I appreciate the serving size and they didn't skimp on the meat like some places tend to do. You also get a generous amount of rice. I really enjoyed this meal. The wings were coated in a Korean glaze and perfectly crisp and also served over a bed of rice. I recommend asking for just wings if you’re ordering the bibimbap. Otherwise you’ll have an abundance of rice. I appreciate that they give you the sauce on the side. The sauce isn’t too spicy, but it adds a nice flavor to your food. Sometimes sauces can be too much, too little or you just don't care for it. At least you can control how much you add. My friend ordered the Kimchi Arancini's and Gochujang Mac n Cheese. I was able to taste both and loved the Kimchi Arancini's! Especially with the scallion lime aioli. I love a good dipping sauce and Omg! The aioli was so good. I'm definitely ordering the kimchi arancini's next time. The Mac n Cheese was creamy, cheesy and had an interesting taste. It's hard to describe, but it was enjoyable. I need to revisit it again since it wasn't my order and I only had a tasting. I love trying new foods and I am so glad we have a Korean restaurant that serves up some great dishes. I'm no expert on Korean food, but Seoulmate Kitchen has won me over. Customer service is friendly and efficient. I also tried the coconut cloud matcha and strawberry matcha. They use high grade quality matcha here and you can tell the difference as opposed to fake matcha. I love the creamy cloud of Matcha that sits on top of the drink. Such a yummy and beautiful presentation. I can't wait to try the coffee drinks. Overall, Seoul Mate is the perfect name because it is now one of my favorite spots at the Public Market.

I’ve been a couple times. I love the iced coconut matcha cloud. The pork belly bites were ok. I won’t get them again though. The dinner bowl, I wish had more meat. Was mostly rice. I like that they give kimchi and pickles on the side. Staff is friendly.

Seoulmate Kitchen is a great addition to the SB food scene! Located in the SB Public Market, it’s the perfect spot to pop into while you’re out and about downtown. My husband and I tried the Bibimbap, Seoul Fire Wings, K Sprouts, and Gochujang Mac N Cheese and everything was SO good - super flavorful and good-sized portions. Can’t wait to go back and try more, especially from the cafe side of the menu. This spot is definitely going on our regular rotation!

My daughter insisted I needed to try the matcha at this place. And boy, was she right! So delicious and beautiful! I was told the coffees are incredible too. I definitely have to return and try the food as well.

One of us Ordered bulgogi bibimbap and got the chicken bibimbap by accident, one of us ordered the meatballs and it was a little raw on the inside. The hot wings were fire, I think that is the move. Cloud cake is a little costly for the portion size. Apparently cafe drinks are good but the cafe is not open at night

Loveeee this new little spot! So far we have tried the meatballs, the wings, melt sandwich, bento box and wings. Our favorite were the melt, meatballs and the Brussels sprouts!!!! Yummy sooo flavorful and really good quality! Drinks wise the coconut cloud Vietnamese coffee is mouth watering delicious and pretty up there with Kin’s drinks in Goleta. Can’t wait to try more!! Super stoked for this new spot and all sorts of goodies they will be making! They are in the public market so as per usually expect it to be crowded during peak hours. Still very worth it!

Wife picked up this place and found it really cute. The service was quite fast considering they had a lot customers. We tried the dirty matcha. We were able to personalize it to our liking and it was exactly what my wife wanted :)
