i never write reviews, but my experience with the manager (she had long, black hair, wasn't sure if she was white or not) working on monday, november 17th @5ish pm forced me to come on here. didn't get her name, because the last thing on my mind was writing a review, but after sitting on it, i hope that no one else has to have an experience like this with her!
i had a product with a broken pump (it was supposed to last 12 months, the pump was always a bit hard to use, but it completely stopped working shortly after a month) i went in to see if they could help fix it so i didn't have to waste another $60 and a year's worth of product! the cashiers were already very short with me when i expressed the concern to them (not demanding at all, just asked for some guidance as i am not a huge makeup person) and when the manager was called over to see if she could help, she did not greet me or even look at me even when i greeted her. i had to explain the situation, to which she angrily responded saying they can't help me. (once again, i was just asking a few questions, and not demanding anything AT ALL) it is COMPLETELY understandable that they weren't able to help, but there is a WAY more neutral tone that they could have spoken with. i mean isn't that something that is taught in training?
i have tons of friends who work jobs like these, and understand that people may be having bad days. but, this was completely uncalled for and ruined my day! i was going to buy another one of the product regardless, even if they weren't able to help, but after their rude, snappy, and dismissive behavior, i decided to take my money elsewhere. long time sephora goer and i was not expecting such unprofessional behavior from a manager :(
